goodgal
i'm using petpet for my #1 daily day use. gd & cheap.

jaspire
u must soak the nappy after poo so its easier to wash & no stain. i put nappy liner so it holds the poo & reduce staining the nappy.

I am also using petpet now. Think the design and cut same as pampers but material wise a bit like dryers. Cheap and good, using them during daytime.

Japsire,
U must be xin gu to wash the nappy. I also bgt the liner to reduce the hard work for my mummy and myself. After bb poo, take the nappy, use water to rinse away first then scrub away the stubborn stains before soaking in the bb detergent. Easy to wash just a few scrubs and the yellow stains is gone. Alredi started to wash the bb cloth, nappy by hand now. Actually i dun fancy handwash, i prefer machine wash but for b, i am ok

mummies, i got put nappy liner wor... it catches most of the poo but the yellow colour of the poo will still stain the diaper. So dats y i worried to switch to bumwear yet. Now still using traditional cloth diaper loh.

alot of mummies using cloth diapers huh, me lazy still using disposable.

Amy - those bumwear i bought still sitting in the cabinet..heh.

Sherin,

Sherin, not sure if you have recieved my email on the collection of control wear. When can i collect the control wear from you. I already PM you my hp no. Pls contact me wen possible. Thanks...

good gal...me too using Petpet...cheap n good as mention by the other mummies...

koori..me too wan to use cloth diapers but nw bb still poo alot so nv get dwn to using hee hee hee....too lazy to keep changing n washing...

Jaspire - was looking @ ur order for 3way bra, do u want to change to multiway since its an improved version from 3 way bra & we managed to get few pcs @ $35 each, same as ur 3way bra price, tot its more worthwhile. Let me know by today if u wan change ,if not proceed as ur order. thanks.

Sputnik – Thanks. Yah.. I am already trying to cut down on the number of times that I latch her on. Worried that my MIL and Mother will face problems looking after bb when I go back to work. What if she wants to latch on but I am not around. Wonder if any of you, especially those experienced mummies face this problem and how do you overcome this prob. Do you offer pacifier? Both my hubby and me would not want to offer the pacifier to baby as it might be difficult to wean bb from it in future.

Goodgal – I am currently using Petpet. I have no complains on Petpet. Quite satisfied with it. It is comparable to Drypers but cheaper. I bought 1 pack of S size petpet at $7plus from NTUC a couple of weeks ago.

Me too still using disposable diapers. Have not gotten down to using cloth nappy yet as worried that I might not be able to cope having to keep washing her nappy as she still poos and pees quite often. Hehe… Today her poo very powerful, when my mom is trying to make her poo more by holding up her legs when we were checking her if she has soiled her diapers, she shot her poo at my mom and stained her clothes and also soiled her bedsheet and bedframe. Haha. A funny sight.

my baby uses cloth diapers. i tried with nappy liner during the first few weeks, but didn't find it effective. being on breast milk, his poop is too watery to be caught by the liner. we don't find any difference between using and not using the liner in terms of staining and washability - so gave up on the liners.

Simp/ Stefy/ Esther/ Chewy/ Jaspire/ Cath -

blessed - thanks for the encouragement! Will continue to work hard tho it is really difficult crawling out of bed at nite. How many hours interval do you pump now?

burpy_babe - i express to feed my baby, dun latch on at all. When i was still latching on a couple of weeks ago, whenever i carry baby, she will turn towards my breast and try and suckle, even when she is not hungry. My confinement lady says this is becos they can smell the milk. After i switch to total EBM, she stopped doing this, so i can carry her without her trying to suckle me thru my shirt ;-)

Where can we buy the sealing discs for glass bottles? Do these sealing discs fit all sizes of glass bottles? Cos I got quite a few bottles from TMC, but the caps have turned rusty, so now got bottles no caps.

sputnik,
i bought those plastic btl caps from TMC pharamcy. not sure if other pharmacy sells. the caps can fit most of normal size btl like pigeon etc, but not avent cos of the wide btl design.

hi, jo

those plastic bottle cap u bought from tmc pharmacy, does it comes with the sealing disc or it's a cap with no holes in the centre?

I saw taka and few other places selling the plastics caps (with holes in the middle for teats) but they do not come with the sealing discs.

xiang,
comes with sealing disc that mean u can take out the seal and insert btl nipple and start feeding. FYI i also tried to find at departmental stores like taka but cannot find lei.

joelle,
try calamine lotion, u can get it at phamarcy or medical shops.

my bb hv pimples like rashes on cheeks, anyone hv the problem? think is due to those oil, sweat and dirt ba. hv been cleaning his face with cotton wool and warm water after bath.

Hi Stefy! How r u?! Oh man, can't find time 2 chat online ...
Thks for asking... sighz be so busy looking after Elliot. TIs is my 2nd wk looking after him & thgs juz got better. Been trying to cook, pump and wash laundry. It's so hard to complete chores or even cooking when Elliot loves to hv company & he wakes up every 2-2.5 hrs. Worse, he has a bad habit to fall aslp during slp so many times my milk was wasted. These days hv to split into 2 bottles 2 feed which is a waste of time. I am getting worried abt my milk ss has it's been dipping. I been pumping every 4 hrs only as I keep missing the schedule juz to look after Elliot. I am so pissed w myself & feel so inadequate at times. My meals r also getting irregular. My ILs come over to help but sometimes MIL juz make thgs worse like overstimulating bb.....then I got more "wk" to do after they leave! Stefy at times I wonder how long I can last....

Cath: thks, I now appreciate my mum EVEN MORE! I wonder how on earth did she do it w 3 kids?!! I dun watch TVs anymore, not even listening to radio... having a peace of mind to poo is also a luxury.. hahahaha! Constantly I hear his crying in my head & I be popping into the rm to check on bb... stress man.
