I bought a few pcs of rompers for $1.20 each at the JL Expo sale. The quality isn't fantastic but still ok for newborns. For newborns, don't buy so many since they are likely to grow out of these after 1 mth. Also managed to buy some other items like thermal blanket, washcloths, and romper for sleeping. Not sure whether these are cheaper than normal price though.

Jenny/Burpybabe - i also tiking of using cloth diapers for bb in the day time, mom say better. Btw if using cloth diaper, do we need to wear any 'water proof' pants over the cloth diapers, cos the cloths will be soiled and wet if bb pees rite, then will wet the bed?

Piggymummy - i know have to put diapers liner in case bb poos, thats to reduce the shit from getting onto the cloth diaper, makes it harder to clean. But waterproof paper duno leh?

The liner is not water proof. Supposed to help 'capturing' the stool so that can discard more easily. The stool's liquid and urine will pass thru. I do recycle the liner if it was urine only.

My elder daughter was on cloth diaper during the day and disposables at night for the first 2 months. After that, she was on BUMWEAR during the day. Had to switch to disposable whole day when she goes to CC.

i didn use it cos i think it will be hot as it doesn allow ventilation. Imagine wrapping baby butock in plastic bag!! I used the disposable mattress protector instead. The protector are blue in color, slightly larger than A3 size paper, normally used in hospitals.

Sook: I signed up with CordLife last week.

koori: The "disposable mattress protectors", if I am not mistaken, are incontinence sheets, or in short, inco sheets. They are blue in colour and can be bought at hospital pharmacies.

Calamari - i tik i saw those sheets before. Rember i went for HSG, the clinic assistant put it underneath my buttock in case got leakage haaa.

koori: yah yah those kind hehe. When I went to the Baby Talk last week, the gynae also advised that in out last month of pregnancy, we should put inco sheets on our bed to sleep on, just in case the water bag breaks in the middle of the night and our mattress won't be soiled forever. He also advised that we prepare a emergency bag to put in office. The emergency bag should contain disposable panties, extra bottoms, sanitary pads, towels - for just in case our water bag breaks in the office. I was thinking also to put some highly absorbent towels in the car. If water bag breaks and hubby sends us to the hospital, the car won't be soiled with the water.

The inco sheets are only available in hospital pharmacies I think, not the shopping centres ones.

Actually there is another kind of mattress protector, the baby ones. Plastic kind. So when you stain your bed, can just wash it away with water. Think I will get those for baby's cot, just in case poo gets on the bedding.

try on bb...or it is better to ask ur bb doctor!
my son is drinking anfra which is recommended by my bb doctor! think best is still breast-milk...which i feed my son for 18mths!

Don't get so upset over your office people... sigh... i realise that it is not worth it. Was pretty upset over how my boss treated me also, but now i don't care, just ignore her, do my work and go home.
