erm anyone using avent bottles? and wat type of bottles u all using? izzit BPA free de?

wanna ask wat types of shampoo and body wash u all using for ur bb?

nope avent is not bpa free, but mrs wong mentioned that it's ok, as long as you change the bottle once it's scratched or cracked or discoloured. bottomline is, no matter what plastic bottle you use, change frequently. but it's your choice whether to go bpa-free or not.

my bb is still using dentinox cradle cap shamp and normal j&j or kodomo body wash.

calamari, ya avent's website shows the new BPA-free bottles. really hope to get it here soon! the website says currently, can use their via cups or magic cups to feed too, and both are BPA-free *faint* but at least it was a relief to find out the via cups (i'm using them) and the magic sippy cups are BPA-free cos i'm planning to buy them

what fake stuff in BP? i heard quite a bit of stuff on BP are fakes, and i kena once before - baby clothing. luckily the BP organiser agreeed to an exchange.. maybe can share here what's fake so as to alert all mummies?

there're also some BPs selling stuff that prices that are even higher than retail, so maybe can help to warn mummies here as well?

now i'm gonna order the baby einstein 26 DVD set from BP (actually now there're 2 different BP on baby einstein dvds now), the price seems too cheap to be authentic. but then for dvds, as long as can play and the pic quality is good then i won't mind :p

Any mummies still facing problem feeding their babies?
My girl just turned 3 months and at least a few times per week, I will have problem feeding her. Her feeding schedule used to be 4 hrs each during the day, now at times, she only will be fed after 5 hours. Sigh... And i don't know if she is drinking too little the whole day.

My Little Javier like teething soon as he get cranky very easily during feeding .. after sucking the milk for a while he will suddenly cry loudly and refuse to feed anymore .. he also drools alot lately and likes to put his hands into the mouth for comfort ...

Are this symptoms of teething?
 
Jenny - my ger has to same symptoms as ur boy during drinking milk, duno isist growing teeth...can ask my PD during Jul vaccine.

jennyhoo, koori: I am going to the PD tomorrow for baby Kayla to take her pneumoccocal jab. She has the same symptoms as your babies when taking milk. I will ask the PD tomorrow and update you.
 
anyone has excess lansinoh milkbags from spree to let go? me running out of milkbags, just opened my last 25 pack. at the rate i'm going, will have no milkbags in about 10 days, so not in time to join spree..

everyday freeze i think abt 600ml. freeze and freeze and never use. dunno freeze for what

also dunno if my girl will reject frozen ebm cos never try on her for about 7 weeks already, since there's more than enough fresh ones might as well give her fresh ones right?

Try to thaw one of your frozen EBM to see if your girl like it. Everyday I froze only about 180ml and I thaw one bag. I just want to make sure the one I saved in milk bag dun spoil. So far my gal likes it fine. The rest you can save until it expires.

You're right as much as possible give her the fresh one.

i am using avent bottles and medela bottles (recently change over to medela bottles as ger ger is fussy about the teats...)

i am using sembmed bubble bath for my ger

I have not started using the blue eggs one yet but its like the lansinoh type. ie, double zip, self standing and it even comes with a thermal sensor for this new design. I m going to use it after my lansinoh stock finish coz blue eggs bag is cheaper and it has a higher capacity.

it'll be good to let ur ger try EBM. my ger drinks very lil EBM. she rather starves. your EBM will come in handy when u return to work.
 
jolene....my ger too....these days she drink so little in the infant care....then at nite she will ask for milk every hr till she sleeps...ha ha ha...

i'm so glad my ger not the only one...thankfully i'm SAHM, so she doesn't have to starve often, only when i need to run urgent errands and hubby takes care of her. may i know which infant care your ger is at?
