A round of intro from me. This is my first preg so I am always v worried abt this & that.

My bb due date shld b 23 Mar. My gynae Lisa Chin from Gleneagles. I haf to worry for another 2 weeks b4 my nxt gynae check-up. V worried if my bb is growing a nt. My weight fluctuate a lot due to diarrhoea v frequently.

oic. i think i am going to sign up in december. hopefully, there is still slots. will ur hubby go with u? I am trying to convince my hubby to join me.
 
mine is the last slot before our delievery. according to the staff, the next one after my slot is march 08. the prenatal course have 5 lessons plus one doctor's talk so my course will end in jan.

actually I'm okie with either male or female gyn..... to me is okie.... plus his stitch is very good lah... very minimize scar

don know I had sensitive nose since young... so every morning sneeze is a common thing or there is a sudden change in temperature or strong smell I will sneeze
 
think i having yeast infection last few days. Feel the on and off itchiness. It's odourless and white sometimes yellow discharge. Is that yeast infection? Never experience before.

How will it affect the baby?

Mine is sinus so i sneeze everyday. It's a norm for me.

if you suspect any forms of infection better see gynae immediately. don't leave it untreated. meanwhile takes lots of yakult/vitagen b'cos the probiotics helps to combat the bacteria that causes the infection.

i cant go off work this week thats why i just kept it clean this few days. Cause last week due to food poisoning i had poor attendance at work and i am being blacklisted. So this few weeks no leave or MC that i can take.
Sighz.. probably the earliest i can go is tomorrow.

I think yeast infection is not as bad as urinary tract infection. I'm not sure what it could lead to though. I read that you can obtain some ointment from the pharmacy. Be sure to ask the pharmacist if it's safe for pregnancy. I don't think you need to take MC for that. At most, infections like that is annoying but you should be able to function on normal basis. By the way, wash up with water after every #1 and #2.

ya, i tink stuffy nose is common for preg woman. every am i wld sneeze n hv blocked nose at nite. had difficulties falling to slp becoz of that.

I oso keep sneezing at nite and most of the time ended up with block nose whereby I got to breathe through my mouth. Then i got no choice but to take my flu medicine so i can sleep properly. T_T

I oso got that itch feeling like you. I check with the nurse at the gynae, she said most of us will get it during preggy. So I jus went to my GP to get medicine to apply, now almost recover liao =D

yes yellowish discharge is normal but when it constantly itches, that's not normal.

I still cant feel the movements yet. i can only feel my stomach tighten very badly and expanding very quickly. Sighz.. I guess this time round my stretch mark will be as bad leh.

i had a bad bout of yeast infection having my 1st, damn itchy also, just apply the medicine down there will do, gynae will prescribe the right ones..so do tell urs

i got a cream and something to insert inside to "cleanse"

btw, hb have to wear condoms when u hav yeast infection, cos my hubby kenna last year and ended up having yeast infection too!

2nd time mummies, how many have brought ur child for Pneumoccocal Jab, taken when ?

My GP charges 167 per jab, still contemplating

will have fever after the jab ?

Gerald took his Pneumoccocal already... no fever... hubby paid for the cost... can't remember how much.... i will only bring Gerald for his jab to his PD at United Square at least he willing to listern to the PD and would not

i gave my girl the jab. Her 3rd jab/last jab is when she turns 1 year old.
She didnt have fever after the jab which is pretty good. and the jab is a painful jab thats why more advisable for young kids. her PD told me that for kids above 2 years she have problem giving them the jab cause once they see needle they shout and yell then the pain is unbearable even though their skin has been numb by the cream.
Anyway my daughter didnt cry much cause this PD is very nice and very good at coaxing lil kids to stop them from crying. Her jab is about $180 each time i go.
