happymummy: ya.. muz fast fast feed. otherwise he also wanna self feed already... but now he has super lots saliva.. so very messy. ryan used to open n take cereal cleanly.. now the saliva n cereal keep dripping out of his mouth.

Ohhhh...so tired and worried!

My Baby Mikael - admitted to hospital yesterday. He's been diarrhoea since Thursday. After visited PD twice, no sign of improvement. Yesterday, He was very weak! He just lied down on bed - staring at me. No movement at all. But he's still responsive when i pitched him. ( The PD asked me to do that!)

Now, he is better in hospital..but the stool still lots of mucus.

My first son, also got the diarrhoea also! but he is more stronger to fight the virus.

Hope, tomorrow my boys will show a good improvement....

So sorry to hear many babies got sick nowadays! Understand the situation completely. My pray for all of the babies to get well soon.

yup, was a cabin crew but I left before I got married. Few reasons why I quit, I dread the job n travelling. You mus be wondering " Why Join Then?" The standard answer " See The World". I think I see Airports all around the world more than "Seeing The World".
The day I stepped into the training center, SIA plane crashed at the Taiwan airport (SQ 006). One year later, 911 happens. About one year after 911, SARS breakout. Fligths cut or rescheduled. So I end up doing alotsa short flights ( or wat we call turnaround flights) where by you dun alight from the plane but fly back to Singapore on the same day we arrived at the airport. Call its jinx or wat, I think I better quit for the sake of everyone in SQ. Half a yr after I tendered resignation, bonus is 7 months! Hahahahah!

Oh.. you really "sway" lor, with all those happenings. My gf hates turnaround flights too, always curse and swear when she receives her schedule.

But why do you hate the job? Don't like to serve passengers? It's not an easy job... must always smile even if sometimes buay-song with passengers (that's what my gf quoted! kekeke)

You know, this gf of mine is very chor-lor kind. We always tease her, if passengers ask for water, she'll ask them to go take by themselves! And we thought she won't stay long but she did! Think over 10 years leow with 2 years break in between for preg and taking care of her bb.

Porridge
I started my ds2 solids only when he was 7.5months old. He only finished 1 pack of rice cereal and I switched him to porridge thereafter. He's more than ready to eat porridge. Both dd1 and ds2 started eating rice (ie 1 proper dinner meal) before they turned 1yo.

yes u r right. Brown rice, oatmeal then multi grain. PErsonally for me i feel oatmeal is fuller is more nutritious. U can start oatmeal once he is ok with brown rice. Usu the rough guage... 6 mth brown rice, 7 mth oatmeal, 7.5 mth multigrain, 8-9 mth porridge but morning still gv ccereal. This time i intend to go slow. Will gv porridge when bb turn 8.5 mth in mid-nov.

i started cheryl on porridge yest. she so more than willing to take it. so much more easier to feed porridge than cereal. probably porridge not so dry.

i only use 'ba-tao' and carrots to boil with the multi-grain rice. did not add anything, but alrdy taste very nice. natural sweetness from the carrots and ba-tao, nt bland at all. no wonder she likes it so much. i like it myself too. hehe.

I have liased with supernature. He is still liasing with his boss to give us a better discount. However max charge is $12.55 per tin. However as stock are coming only in 2 weeks time he suggest we pre-order and reserve the stock with him now as the demand is getting higher. just came back from the pd, dr lee from kinder clinic. pd's not concerned with his vomitting. said prolly caught a mild virus n gv him probiotics. but she said my boy has sensitive skin, so prescribed a mild steriod and moisturiser. cost $120 for the visit... luckily can claim 90%of the cost fr hubb's comp.

i notice my ger's spine at the lower back is abit hunch(curve) when she sitting up ...normal?
