My sis-in-law from muar, johor too but i am from spore kekeke Hb posted to work in kl hee.

Happygal
wow yr supply is A LOT! maybe cos yr bb is a big drinker. Mine is a smaller drinker thus my supply only 5-6oz. ometimes 4oz only.

Angeline,

It's easy to throw into the washing m/c but later lots of clothing diapers to fold. So disposable diapers still a better choice for me. Hehe! Lazy mummy.

Melissa,

Thanks for yr info on the pump. I will go try it out.

Lee Hong,

How abt taking fenugreek & oat in the morning? I can feel my supply dropping and started eating oat with fenugreek in the morning and drink lots of water. It helps for my case. My breastpads are soaking with milk again. Supply went up

Hi Mummies,
I wanna let go of my cosco car seat. More for 1 yr old onwards. I only installed and placed bb inside once. Cushion taken out to wash. and both seat and cushion are stored in storeroom since Apr. I bought at $119. Selling at $89. Just wondering who would want...

Now bb is in infant car seat.

the cyst on the back: the doctor says it is an infection. din say what cause it. i told her i don't know why got this swollen pimple thingy oozing pus and blood. den she saw and touch den says it is a cyst. gave me an antiseptic cream to apply. that's all.

the cyst on the tooth: PD says just leave it. will disappear on its own.

basically, both of them don't look worried when they saw the cysts.

i check the internet. cyst on gum is rather common, i guess. the other one is slowly subsiding.

http://www.mommyguide.com/print.php?sid=137

"Some reports state that 70%-80% of babies have small eruption cysts in their mouths, usually on the gumline where the teeth come in. Eruption cysts will usually burst on their own and require no treatment. Once the cyst is gone, the tooth will usually come in behind it"

I saw many of you talking about breastfeeding. My baby likes to latch on, feed and fall asleep at my breast. She needs to suckle in order to sleep.

I'm wondering if this is a habit we should stop. Do any of you have similar experience to share?

hi lee hong - great to know another 'compatriot' here. kay poh...how long hv u been in spore? i came in 1991.

simp - oh..find it easy to adjust to life in KL? For me, it will be extremely difficult if i were to go back to m'sia for good..but i still like the food in my hometown...beef noodle!

Littleprincess,
Msia is a bigger country gd for inter-state getaway. Shopping for local things cheaper and std and way of living more human haha, less stressful. But i dun have many frens there so i always homesick de. Easy to adjust to life in kl but crime is a prob for me. I dun really dare to go out alone by myself since i dun drive there kekeke. So i am really a sahm there kekeke

welcome welcome...

my 2 gals definitely need to suckle before sleep. i didnt stop the first one. i only stop her to suckle during the midnite feed. so after that she progressively move to a difficult routine. then dont need to suckle.

i bought the bumper mat sometime ago. its very nice! my hubby and my 2 gals can lie down and play. if you have guest, can put a thin matteress on top to double it up as a bed. i bought the 2300*1400*15 alphabet pooh. its very big. smaller size is recommanded unless hse is very big

i pump twice in the office. about 11.30 and 4pm. i tandem pump at home during the morning 7am (whatever time baby wakes up) and nite 8pm.

just managed to cover her feed.

oh abc my mum loves the freeze milk using the milk tray. cos if what i pump short like one 1oz... she just go take a cube and use. somemore it doesnt have the cream stick to the side of the milk bags.

now i have 2 packet of 25 pieces each milk bags for sale. anyone interested???

oh oh the milk bags is same a the one abc using... Lansinoh. its very good bag. just tat my caretaker mummy prefers the milk stick so wouldnt be using the bag liao.

sell 1 packet of 25 pieces at $9

anyone interested?

dreamlife: what milk tray are you using? and where do you store the milk cubes after it's been frozen? i also bought a milk tray from sensible lines, but the tray cannot be sterilised, so im wondering whether that's actually ok....

chickenlittlelee: welcome!!! yeah my boy also needs to suckle to sleep. in fact last night i was trying to put him to bed but he was crying his head off. finally i figured he needed to suckle, lo and behold after 5 mins he fell asleep! aiyoh... def a habit for him now.

can understand how u feel. my baby was down with Paraflu at 1 month old. don't even know who passed the virus to him, maybe could be during baby shower. went thru suction twice as well.. very poor thing.. i cried so much during that week he was unwell, especially during suction. but he did not look sick at all, still can play and smile.. luckily he recovered within a week. now gotta be very careful where i bring him and who touches him..

Nowadays my boy will drink from the bottle halfway then stop and refuse to drink anymore. He will keep moving his whole body. Have to coax him to drink finish the whole bottle. I'm giving him EBM.

He is currently 3 months old. Anyone experience this also?

hihi.. little princess PM pls so that i can contact you.

agapebaby: i m using the same milk tray also. i didnt sterilised them often. i use the tablets. anyway, there's a saying growing up eating abit of dirt is healthy. after the milk become frozen i keep them in the zip lock bags. you know these ziplocks for sandwiches. small size one. just nice one packet for one day can label using a marker pen.

Clover,
Hmm u mean milk stains on bra cannt be cleaned thoroughly by washer? I din go and notice. That time i wore the padded soft cup black bra and realised that is milk stain, then put in the washer to wash and it is ok. I thgt can wash away cleanly. But i dun like the look of stain on my clothes so i always put on disposable breast pad to collect the leak or stain.

I know it is a bit earl, but anyone interested to start baby swimming classes when yr bb reaches 6 mth old? We can form our own group and find our own venue. Interested pls let me know and when yr bb will turn 6 month.

See link for details:
http://www.swimminglessons.com.sg/infantaquatics.htm

Hope to get a group of 4 bb so tat per mth the swimming fees is $100 per child.

1. abcdisney - 6 mth on 18 sep 08

simp, somehow there are yellowish/dark stains on my light coloured nursing bras. I put my bras in laundry bags to wash, but maybe my washing machine doesn't clean so well.

anyone has other good nursing bras to recommend? I wan to try other brands rather then marks n spencer. the new gap nursing bras I recently got are quite good.

mummies

need help here...i v blur....baby 3rd mth is take wad jab? what is Polio & DTPa/ HiB Vaccine?i have 2 diff clinic appt card.. y both of them show diff timin to take the above jabs...1 show taken during 2nd, 4th, 6th mth...while the other which is Thomson one show 3rd, 4th, 5th mth....

Kea,
These are just the different ways of taking vaccinations. There are 6-in-1 packages, 5-in-1 packages and other optional jabs. Polio, DTP, HiB are mandatory jabs. Optional will be chicken pox, rotavirus, pneumococcal etc. If u take at polyclinic, they will give u those jabs one by one for FREE but u have to make a lot of trips to the polyclinic for that purpose. That's why, 5-in-1 and 6-in-1 packages are getting popular nowadays. They basically combine all those vaccines into 1 and u make fewer trips to the polyclinic. It's very suitable for FTWM. For SAHM, take the free jabs. Also, it's advisable for u to stick to one clinic/poly when taking the package b'cos every clinic/poly will have different type and dose and you don't want to mix them up. Once u take up either package, they will provide you with a schedule, most likely u must bring bb for vaccination on 3rd, 4th and 5th mth.

clover,
i usually soak my nursing bras in bleach before washing. that works. mine is cheapo ones. bought from Metro one.

Clover,
Heard marks & spencer ones very nice and comfty but not cheap. Mine from lelong stall and MIM. I like MIM soft padded bras, nice.

Brought Andrae for a swim at my friend's condo last friday. He is enjoying it!

Hoping to put aside fri evening or sat to bring him to the pool again. Anyone interested?
