Your aunt is an experienced nanny.
I can't imagine my mum looking after my son at night cos she will be tired out the next day. That is why, I choose to bring my son home daily from Kallang to Seng Kang. When she said she can take care of 2 in the day, I am very doubtful.

Ya my girl is 1 mth younger then urs. She born in 19th Oct 2006 hee.. Cause now she learning how to walk. When we hold her 2 hands right.. She try to run very fast BUT she doesnt even walk properly!! then tend to fall on her kneels lor hahaha..
Then now she doesnt even want to let us hold her hands. She just want to walk by herself then keep falling down but she not scared of pain. She's overly adventurous.

No chinese name b'cos we're not a traditional family hehe. Actually that name is also a part of my list when we're having Hannah. So since it's another girl, just simply use the name next in the list lor. Hey so fast your girl want to walk. Mine only like to walk if we hold one hand else she's happy with just cruising around and holding on to something. How tall and heavy is your girl now? Hannah is only 70cm/8.5kg but nurse said a bit overweight so I guess being overweight make balancing a bit difficult liao? haha.

Mine is 56 and even with a maid, it is very tiring to handle my #1.
If ur mum can handle both alone , i must say kudos to her.

Don't get angry, it'll affect your bb. I realised that whenever I'm very angry, I feel cramps/pain after that.

I tried all sorts of food supposing able to boost supply but NOTHING works!
Supply was mere 80 - 120ml each expression. I just have to work doubly hard (if not triple the effort) to pump enough for next day's feed (wait till you find out about my pumping schedule, there's basically no life for me but I survived!)
For #2, I don't know if it's coincidence or what... I ate oats on a daily basic during confinement and my supply is abundant. It's so much that I can feed 2 babies and a toddler. I was feeding my #2, giving excess to a friend's bb (1 month younger) and some to #1.

Water retention is because you're not drinking enough water, that's why your body needs to retain the water in them. Drink more water and elevate your feet when you sleep at night. I had water retention once and I drank 1 glass of water before bedtime, elevated my feet and the next day, the swell on my feet are all gone!

wah lao 5months 10kg??? must be a michelin baby! i find 8.5kg already heavy to carry this one 10kg ah. beware, can lead to obesity when adult.

Now the problem of choosing the right helper. It's really an art to have to pick the best helper. All of them say they can do almost everything... sigh!
Are there any questions that i should ask when i talk to the helpers? Need advice from all you experienced employers

i think initially really have to close 1 eye, cos after she cleaned the floor in the 1st few weeks after arrival, my feet still black when I walk ard
My mum helped me to coach her to clean and cook
now she is ok lah..but of cos have her lazy moments
just like today, cut my pig liver so big piece when i tell her must be thin..end up threw away a lot cos by the time cooked , all hard hard..SAD..cos I crave for pig liver today
i just say next time cut thinner, waste $$$..

My MIL has been employing maid for many yrs. Its alot abt luck.
If you need one tat can handle babies, you shld look for those tat are the elder siblings at home. Her logic is "The elder ones took care of the younger siblings and helped with the housework in their hometown".
I am thinking of starting the maid search in Dec to be intime before my due in mid March.

Me too. Felt my tummy bump bump since last week. It happened when I was lying on my back. Then I felt something hard floating up on the surface of my tummy and it was hard. After a while, my tummy went soft again. so cute. Think shld be my baby feeling uncomfotable cos I'm lying on my back.

I just realised that the ranch sauce consists of raw egg yolk. Was happily eating my Mac fries with the sauce till I read the ingredients. Got a shock and stopped dipping immediately. Not sure if there's any ranch sauce in Spore Mac but do read the ingredient list in any sauces before dipping in them.
