Oh yah, didn't mean to ignore your request for my email to pass to your friend. Didn't reply you cos my sis is pregnant again (after 2 miscarriages) so I need to keep the baby clothes for her. I was waiting for her pregnancy to stablise before deciding whether to give the clothes away or keep for her. She passed down alot of baby clothes to me which I've given some away liao so better return the last batch to her. Help me say sorry to your friend ok.

Singulair is a leukotriene (loo-koe-TRY-een) inhibitor. Leukotrienes are chemicals your body releases when you breathe in an allergen (such as pollen). These chemicals cause swelling in your lungs and tightening of the muscles around your airways, which can result in asthma symptoms.
Singulair is used to prevent asthma attacks in adults and children as young as 12 months old. It is also used to relieve runny nose and sneezing caused by allergies in adults and children as young as 6 months old.

yup, singulair is famously used to treat asthma patients. My PD told me that too, but he did give me a very detailed explanation on how it's also used for clearing up airway (like what shannonbaby said). But of cos, ur right, it shudnt be used too often. Only as prescribed but must finish a course (like antibiotics).
And nope, no offense taken...in fact, i was the one who forgot all about it. I was worried u were wondering how come i never collect from u since u told me last time u packed it up for me liao...No worries, my fren has got lots of 2nd hand clothings donated to her...from pixie alone, i got 2 bagfuls! Thanks pixie!!!

LOL. Secretarial jobs are no joke also. I went thru a period of being "treated with indifference" by acquaintances who think lowly of secretarial jobs ie frens/schoolmates of hubby's colleagues who seem to think secretaries does nothing but file their nails all day long and answer phone calls. When they asked me "so, what do u do?" and i replied "secretary" they go..."oh..." and then silence, like they have nothing to talk to me about or they think i have nothing intelligent to contribute. The job itself also very siong cos either an EA or PA to CEO, u're like on call 24/7, and there's nothing u cant do (in the eyes of ur boss) or rather, u have to do everything. Everything bao ga liao.If u dunno, then have to call and learn how to! But i must say, i learnt alot from the various bosses that i've served. Aiyoh recalling those days, damn siong. But like i say lo...i'm lucky to jump from job to job with pay increment. At the end of the day, the people that "looks down" on my job are very surprised to know i actually earn more than them.

got 2 missed call & one of them was from studioloft! Is from maryann & she just wanna asked permission (if i feel ok) to give my V-day bloom shot for mediacorp promo advert purpose cos one of my shot with hb was selected by mediacorp. Well, i said ok since pic no obscene exposure.

What you said about secretary's job is very very true. I was an Executive cum PA in one of my previous jobs (the one with the ang moh boss). Had to do everything including my boss's job. His budget reports and monthly reports were all done by me. And whenever he asks, I had to have all the answers at my fingertips. It's tough but it also shows that my boss trust me very much cos I know some of the secretary in the same company only does phone calls, gossips and file nails...hahaha! It's very extreme lah, maybe that's why most people tend to think secretary have a good life and easy job.

aiyah those 2 bags of clothes, i gave your fren those that i dont like, so nevermind at all. i mixed with a lil bit grown up clothes eg 3mths, 6mths etc so that ur fren can stretch this bit longer. every cent counts since she is in need of stuff hor? when i was preggy, my sis gave me lots, my nephew ones oso passed to me. even my niece stuff my bil oso throw to me. made me mad coz they all think i storeroom...then i pass to ur fren lor haha

The singulair pd gave to rylee was in powder form, to mix with her milk, but i caught the same virus and was having those whooping cough that comes like a stupid attack and can makes cough until u turn blue kind. I was also prescribed by my family doc Singulair but it was in capsule form. Ask ur doctor about it

yest i was watching starhub chn 70 (discovery home and health) and some doc made me think very hard about his comment.
the show was about IVF and a couple having quintuplets. he said almost all twins/triplets and above babies will definately be prematurely born. as more and more mothers (in USA specifically) are having triplets, quadruplets, quintuplets etc, it is a worrying trend. which means more and more premmie babies in %, if you compare premmie vs full term.
he said IVF doctors and parents are so keen on achieving the goal of getting preggy that they never see the end results: premmie births

So jus nice, we're here enjoying the winter...but these few days, really very cold! I prefer cold cos cold i can wear more clothings to solve the problem, not enough, wear some more. But hot hor, there's only so much u can take off rite? Even if take off until naked, STILL hot! hahahahaha

My boy is down before having his vaccination today.. sigh had to cancel his appt for the jabs. Fever until 39.6 degree. sigh, now i had to cope alone cos my pil and sil not in sg already. Fotunately hb on leave, intending to accompany me for checkup and bring X to jabs.

but hor, during winter, very leceh lah...bring rylee go for an outing only, have to wear layers and layers (for fear of catching cold for her), so ma huan! Summer time, just tshirt and shorts can liao. But i love wearing jackets and boots for winter!

yah, the autumn/winter in HK is getting shorter and shorter, they predict that by 2070, HK will no longer have 4 seasons. Never mind, i dead by then! LOL. Last time, when i stayed here in 2004, Sept is already cooling (autumn) with temp around 22-26c, nice aircon-like weather...now HK no autumn, just from hot switched to cold winter in mid Nov (now)

After becoming SAHM, managed to negotiate for some allowance, but is only abt 30% of my last salary...
but now he takes over 100% all expenses. so the allowance is fully for me to use for personal things or to save lor..

I don't sweat much but both my boy n hb scared hot. yesterday my hb sweating in lrt but I felt cold. i hate yr end coz I always fall sick n major ones. past 10 yrs like that liao. all started when I was caught in de rain after my o levels, so sick until pass out kind. frm then on very scared cold, n every yr end will get sick

Pauline, other than chuan bei mu, add in dried tangerine to add sweetness to the soup, and add dry figs n nanxing bei xing. Seems like R has lots of phlegm. Song bei would be better than chuan bei cuz it’s higher grade. For R’s high fever, make sure she has enuff intake of water, fluid, juices. Did you make Chinese big barley with green bean soup for her? If can, make burdock soup for her too. It’s good to bring down the fever.
