My hubby will also kiss me every morning before leaving for work. But after having #2, I will sleep slightly longer in the morning (coz I jaga the night feeds) while he just quietly leave the house. So these few days, he did not kiss me but I know he does not want to wake me up lah.

Wah all got sweet hubbies!
When I leave for work, my hubby still sleeping. When I go to bed, sometimes my hubby not home yet. So no kiss kiss.
sad.gif

I think I wanna change job liao. Sian of the long hours I'm working!
sad.gif

Wha, my HB now also seldom hold my hands already. Dun mention about kissing.... Now doing confinement at mum's place he also doesn't seem to miss me. Nv sms me or call me. I am the one calling and sms de!! Haiz, does it mean that got children liao wife not not important anymore?

Jacelyn,

Need to hold kids' hands mah... how to hold hubby's hands? Only time i get to hold hubby's hands is when we go out alone, which is SELDOM.

Ohh.. a marriage is so difficult to maintain. :s

Bebeyan,

glad that u decide to keep the baby. Happy Birthday to you.

Sweet things:
We kissed on the lips when hubby drops me off to mrt station. (but if i am angry with him, i dont kiss him :p)
Sms me will always start from Lao Po....
Call me dear and we still hold hands.

Mummies,
I am going for a surgery for my piles in Dec. Took half day mc to visit the consultant today at SGH and he said can only to surgery. I abit scared. Will do the staple one. He say it is better to do it before I plan for #2 if not, I may suffer for the 9 months if my constipation worsen. Sobz. 2 weeks MC after that. Day surgery cost me abt 4k. Luckily can claim.

pixie, chaye, janbb,

my hb suggested & wanna book Au Petit Salut French Restaurant, not me. I heard that their duck foie gras & desserts are nice. But me not a big fan of foie gras le. Some pple just love it like crazy & it's not cheap!

What is the sweetest thing that your hubby did to you or you did to him?
A: i am always afraid of cockroaches, especially the big flying ones! I remembered one afternoon, i saw a big flying type & really scare the hell out of me! That time we are still enjoying couplehood days w/o any kids. Just so happened that hb need to work on a Sat noon shift so no one was at home when i was attacked by one of those big flying roaches in my kitchen. I quickly called hb's mobile & told him abt it. Guess what? 20mins later, he returned home just to help me kill it! I think that was sweet but by the time he returned, the cockroach was almost 80% 'mati' cos i used bygone to spray spray spray:p

Verene,
Don't worry so much about the surgery. My hubby also had the staple surgery just this jun and he was so happy that he is now no longer tortured by the piles pain again. Only thing was on the day after the surgery, he looked a bit weak but recovered pretty fast. The surgery costs 3k++.

steph,
wow ur hb got good taste man, french restaurant, romantic!

Waa... Steph, Au Petit Salut French restaurant leh. I wanted hubby to bring me to Dempsey and try out but he finds out it's too out of the way and he doesn't like french food. He brought me to blue basil near Orchard instead. :p

krystle, my hubby not high class lar. I was the one who suggested Au Petit Salut but he vetoed it. He went to check out hungrygowhere and decided on blue basil instead. Blue basil is a cozy little restaurant cum bar but definitely not the high class type. Mains start from less than $20 that kind. :p

Luca I think I mentioned many times about the zhi3 ke4 tang1 in forum be4 leh. U can get those from medical hall which consst of chuan bei4 mu3, mandarine dried tanderine . Figs, north south chinese almond . Brew it n drink for 3 days very effwective.

kitsune
i went to blue basil before too from HGW.com recommendation and the food is quite forgettable but the desserts were nice

steph
that cockroach thing is really very sweet neh...
the only time my hb rushed back was because i had herpes and the virus attacked a part of my nervous system so i had a pounding pain behind my ear to my neck/back and it was so painful that i was sobbing....he rushed home, want to send me to hosp
thats like as painful as labour pain if you want me to compare

luca

verene

Pauline: we went Dempsey for drink a few times wif my boy, never had any meals b4 there. i find that mostly foreigner will bring their kids there.

Mcfluffy: my hb will hold my hand and i'll hold my boy's hand.. Sometimes, i'll let go of my hb's hand cos need to run aft my boy. aft awhile my hb will said " hold my hand we r one happy family."

Gd morning mummies
happy.gif

Re: holding hands
once in awhile when go out with my parents, my hubby will hold my hands cos got my parents to run after my boy. if nt, my boy will be in between me and my hubby~... hahaha.. Javier has to hold daddy and mummy's hand
happy.gif

Pixie, only the lamb chop was good I rememeber. Dessert I don't remember cos not a dessert fan. ;P

Lyn, agree with Pixie, your hubby very sweet. I told my hubby before that even if we have kids, we should hold each other's hand and the other hand hold our kids. But RaeAnne loves to hold both of our hands lor so end up still got '3rd party' between us. Hee.

ya lor, a few years ago, when Dempsey was the in place to go. I asked him to bring me there liao. But he always a lot excuses when it comes to places that he has not been. Either he doesn't want to go or he doesn't bother to check the route beforehand. Then if we do go to those far flung places, I got to topo and be his vehicle commander. Usually end up with a few wrong turns or can't find parking. By the way, we reached there, I pek chek and mood not right anymore. :p

Mcfluffy, my hubby is a zhi char and simple food fan too. Once I asked him where he wants to go for his BD and he said nearby coffee shop for zhi char. I'm like haven't we eaten there a million times already? To me, it's so boring but because it's his BD, I let him go where he wants to go lor. :p

Morning mummies!

JG Holiday Programme
At first I am interested. Then with the field trip and all everything in 5 days, I scare I am too tired to handle Xavier, so I decide not to go.

JanBB
I find Zoophonic quite repetitive. But my boy enjoy the songs and phonics. He did learn something from there but he run abt during story telling and craft session is more like mummy and granny work. I found that mygym catagorise their playgroup into diff days like language, art & craft, music.. so I can choose which day I want o attend base on Xavier's interest. Yet to find out more, will go to that branch 1 day and ask.

Zoophonic is having holiday program too. $120 for 5 days x 1.5hrs, toddlers playgroup is abt music instruments. Maybe u can call and check, try out their holiday programme and see if u like it.

Lyn's boy also with Shichida, u can check with her.

cheryl
So far Xavier never try to beat anyone when he is upset. He only 1-2 x kind of beat when he played too much..

Lyn,
Your CC means child care right? Anyway which branch did u go to? My friend attend the one at Changi (expo) there, she says over there less crowded.

Are u going to be stay at home mum? Wanna join me and mum2nat for a playdate for the boys?

hi good morning all...

I have always wanted to go Dempsey to have a drink but I heard you must have a car to go there. As we do not own a car we have not been there before :p unless we get a cab...

tongtong,
i know u mentioned alot of times hehe but it just slip off my mind :p tks, will try to brew dis few days.

pixie,
tks, my cough sometimes is dry, but sometimes phlegmy, i oredy cough out alot of phlegm, but duno why still not yet recover. had trouble sleeping as night time is the worst. haiz!

i never insist hb must hold my hand, coz i feel we lao fu lao qi liao :p
we are also sui bian on food, so never go fancy restaurant before.. sua ku! haha

re : anniversary...

ask u ladies... what do u base on when you tell ppl u r married for how many yrs ? based on ROM yr or customary yr ? Eg some ppl ROM in 2005 but customary is 2006 then do u tell ppl u r celebrating 4th anniversary or 3rd anniversary ?

re:dempsey,

I like dempsey! Very nice place to hang out. And indeed, need a car to drive in coz a bit too far to walk in.

Pauline,
my hubby also like that leh. During his BD, he rather eat zhi char coz he really loves zhi char food. So everyday is his bd coz everyday we can eat zhi char and not sian of it. hahaha... Guess we married the simple man. ;) help us to save money so that we can buy more things. kaka..

My girl also likes to hold both our hands when we go out. One hand hold mummy's hand, one hand hold daddy's hand. Cute
happy.gif

chaye,
keke... I don't even remember how many yrs we have been married..coz like your example, i ROM one yr earlier than customary so I get confused too. I like to base it on ROM date becoz that's the official, legal one. So.... lemme count.. I've been married for... 4 yrs? Or issit 3? lolz..

kitsune/ steph, both of ur hb so romantic, at least he has brought/intend to bring u for a romantic gd date!
happy.gif

my hb is nt the romantic type and he also nt into fine dine or wat... v practical... sian

chaye, we dun celebrate. it is juz a normal day, the most we juz hav simple dinner together. mebe coz i also beri /equally bo chap?

Chaye, we got car, I also don't get to go lor cos my hubby is a reluctant driver. He'll always tell me he hasn't taken bus or mrt for a long time, like so 'huai nian' like that. :p

Mcfluffy, ya lor, maybe they feel more secure or contented that both parents with her bah. ;)

I celebrate ROM anniversary more cos to me that's the official thing. Customary is more like wayang for the ILs and relatives to see. :p

Aqua, he has never brought me to a romantic place to eat without prompting hor. So, it doesn't count. Even to celebrate my birthday for the first time as a couple, he brought me to Seoul Garden. So, must say he's always been like that lor. :p

kitsune/ steph
Do u all like Japanese BBQ kind? I just been to this restaurant - Gyu Kaku. Maybe not so child friendly cos it is charcoal BBQ kind. Not as good as the one in japan but enough to make me happy - http://www.gyu-kaku.com.sg/

The lunch set of $30+++ is pretty good.

RE: anniversary
I celebrate customary date cos ROM date hor, is just formality, sign and all. Didnt move over hb place until customary date.

chaye
i based on ROM date bah

aqua
i think mcfluffy is teacher? if i remember correctly

kitsune
my hb oso not familiar with SG roads and usually i read maps he drive. i dont mind. i like reading maps. not all women have a knack for map reading leh.
we go HKG twice, i was the offocial map reader and road navigator :p

luca
then try to brew those stop phlegm tonic? those like tongtong said...

krystle,
my hb not high class la...we love to try exotic food. Au Petit Salut French restaurant is not very ex (if u are taking their set lunch/dinner). We also love zhi char cum seafood stall at Pasir Panjang’s food center.

Chaye, Lynn,
For food critic on Au Petit Salut French restaurant, read here: i saw the blog pic make me so hungry le!
http://www.ladyironchef.com/2009/05/10/au-petit-salut-the-place-of-eternal-memories/

Lynn,
you want to see my bloom photoshoot? Go to my multiply blog under photos & u can view all
happy.gif
I am sure you will look very good for bloom shots since u r tall, pretty & still got a curvey figure! Do share with us once yr photos are out! i wanna see..drool..hehe

Pixie, I don't like and not good at reading maps. There's a reason why there's a book written about why women can't read maps ya? So, I feel that reading maps and topoing is my 'punishment' for wanting to go to nice but new places to eat. I rather take the taxi. Problem is in some of these places, very difficult to get a taxi home. ;)

Icy, sigh, I can't go for lunch sets unless it's school hols lor. My hubby doesn't really like BBQ food, he thinks too heaty. He doesn't like buffets either cos he said he's old liao, can't eat much. Then he doesn't like french or fusion food cos he said the combination tastes weird. So, that's why I hardly get to dine at nice places lor.

Jess, I do celebrate both but got higher expectations for the ROM anniversary cos 1) it's the official date when we exchanged rings and he promised to 'love and cherish' me forever 2) because it's in Dec and school hols, he got no excuse for not planning and bringing me to a nice place. haha. ;P

Chaye,

i based on my customary yr. If based on ROM yr, then would be my 7th anni liow...7 years itch??

aqua,
my hb not romantic kind. He is very practical & simple man too. No roses, gifts, candle-light dinner nor whisper sweet talk to me on special occasion like birthday, V-day or wedding anni etc. He is not the man who will say "I HEART U" so easily de. Not expressive kind. So...boring hor...that's my man loh *duh*

icy,
me & hb love Jap BBQ..charcoal kind. We used to eat at Kushibo, Orchard Building but now no more, restaurant closed down liow
sad.gif

I will recce the place u recommend one day, tks!

kitsune,
oic. My hubby and I loves food. Hb is those kind who is willing to spend on food than other things. We used to have buffets every now and then when we are younger. Now we cant eat as much anymore.. so he would like go special and nice restaurant during special occasions. That is the only thing which is easy to convince him lol

I only can have lunch now, cos I went for checkup with hb then we go for some special lunch set. Else mil not so willing to take care Xavier for us, she feels that everything we go, we have to involve our kids. She dun believe personal time lor.

Jess/Steph, hehe, that's the man we picked for their steadiness, honesty, sense of responsibility, thriftiness etc. Ie, good husband qualities but not good as lover/BF lor. haha.
biggrin.gif

i think kitsune's, steph's, jess's, mine's hb all the same: down to earth, not romantic, practical, and all the rest that kitsune has stated.

Icy, it's my hubby who feels that we should not make his parents work OT so nice long dinners are out of the question lor unless I make noise lar. That's why this year we managed to go to The Line for my birthday but we start eating at 6pm and must be back by 8pm lor.

Sometimes, RaeAnne is having her afternoon nap, I ask him to drive me to Tampines interchange to run some errands, he'll say if she wakes up and can't find either of us, she'll cry. End up I got to take the bus to and fro myself. Sigh. But can't fault him for being a good daddy lor. :p

Pixie, steph, jess, so must learn how the spider stays happy and 知足常乐 lor. Can air our frustrations here but no point picking a fight with them. Our hubbies were like that all along just that love blinded us in the first place. Last time as BF, never hiam, now as HB, cannot hiam liao lor.
