i emailed the cc but they havent get back to me leh. i briefly told my hb about the "playgroup" thingy he say can wait no rush blah blah.
i told him x is turning 2 soon and "mil promised that can let him go playgroup when he turns 2". he diam diam...
means i got 50% permission from him liao. aiming for another 50% permission from him when i have more info from cc and speak to him again

Friday 2nd Oct ok for you ? I am looking at bilingual speech & drama at 10.30am...morning is better for the tods cos noon they can take their nap. My frd said their outdoor pool (water play) is nice but if it rains half an hr b4 class, they will cancel the class & we gotta reschedule...so i think we start on speech & drama first...if we like the enviroment & teachers then we can consider their water play next ok.

I'm super sian today... went to gynae this morning... my blood count has dropped to 8.9. normal is 11.5-13.5

my menses just cant stop for this month and I have been experiencing super heavy flow for past many mths...

sigh... gynae says my womb is enlarged and like those of 2mths pregnant woman and is due to the little fibroids I have inside...

I have started taking Pills for a mth le but still cant stop the flow... I will continue to take it and hope it will regularise the flow if not I will have to put in IUD if not gynae suggested tat I remove the whole womb since I already have 2 kids and not planning for 3rd !

why not try TCM to regulate/stop the flow? IUD only temp...need to change yearly or what? The pills that u r taking is homones pills or for contraceptive purposes? I have cyst & fibroids leh but it shrink to very small size after i gave birth. My menses is not heavy & it's getting shorter (last 4-5days) last time b4 preggy used to be 7-8days. Mine need to monitor cos i scare my cyst/fibroids will grow bigger!

u r lucky lor. mine is opposite. after birth it become complicated and my flow is super heavy and even longer than usual.

IUD and pills r temp measures lor... it will not help to remove the fibroid but just help to regulate the flow.

TCM ? TCM helps ?
 
Thanks mummies for commenting my "pretty boy" pics. I think he take after me so that explains the "girly" look. Headache leh. Cheh cheh looks like DH so everyone thought that she is a boy. Now didi looks like girl... So ironical.

Yes, pass-down clothes from cheh cheh even though I did buy a few new boy boy clothes for him. At home is ok, can wear pink. Anyway, will be soiled with his urine and milk lah.

Re: Rebound jaundice

So sad that my boy got rebound jaundice and the level is still above normal range. Today went to PD again and need to continue to sun him at home and go back for another review this Fri. Since last week, I had been running back to Gleneages every 3 days and so tiring. I don't feel that I am doing confinement at all. But I tell myself it is ok as long as Issey gets well. Hope that Fri will be ok and last time to visit PD for this.

Sorry, blackbatz. Can't advise much as I think I don't need to get any training pants for my #1. Coz she somehow auto-train herself and making sure that she won't pee unless we bring her potty to her. She can even tolerate throughout the night (even with diapers on) and wake up in the morning to pee in the potty!! Very amazing and really proud of her.

Re: Diaper cream
Mandy, I also did not use diaper cream on my #1 for long time. Since she is no longer wearing diapers and is toilet trained already. Just making sure to wipe her clean that's all.

I hope you will get better. But can't you just remove the fibroids? Coz removing the whole womb is serious matter, I think.
 
Krystle, RaeAnne looks like a boy too, hope mei mei will look like a gal. :p I bought a few pieces of new clothes for no. 2 too, mainly 2 sets of Carters sleepers for coming back from hospital or for PD checks. The rest of the clothes all inherit from cheh cheh. Got pink, white and blue colours too. :p

TCM will help but need longer time to see effect. I used to visit JE physician, superb long Q & also Thong Chai medical institution at Chin Swee Rd for fertility issues or women's problem. For me, still early to say whether i am lucky or not cos mine got history (i went for lap surgery b4 to remove my 8cm cyst!) Just hoping no recurrence!

Thanks. Just wondering about the material. Is it absorbent? Must change if bb urinates into the training pants? If don't change, won't the bacteria from the urine infect bb's skin?

I had the same problem like you. After 3 months on pill, my menses stopped completely. Then gynae advised me to continue for another 3 months cos she spotted some small fibroids as well. Because it's small, so gynae said taking the pills will shrink it and strengthened.

Any cheaper alternative to CB but as good? Very siong on the pocket. Each time I order, price increases.

what is the name for yr cyst? As long as these cyst wont affect your body functions or poses any health issues then it's alright. Mine is ovarian cyst aka blood cyst. I still got a picture of the cyst taken during my op...see already will puke!
 
Blackbatz, usually it's a few layers of cotton. Yes, must change when wet. Just that urine won't come pouring down their legs compared to normal shorts. Supposedly, if they feel the wetness, and don't like that feeling, next time they will slowly alert us that they want to wee wee before it gets wet. :p

Now training my boy. Think I will give the training pants a miss. Just change the normal pants more often cos he is getting used to the whole routine of going to the toilet now.

No J&J..my boys' hair will turn flaky. Sigh! If can use J&J, long time will use it. Last time use Little Terra fom The Natural Source..After close down, switch to CB. Now I try those cha pa lang brand from iherb and see how. I still like the Calming Everyday Lotion lehh..Very nice and not oily..

I also weaned my boy off his pacifier. PD said that he is in danger of developing buck tooth. So after his jab, quickly kept pacifier..A bit cruel cos it was his lifeline. Took him a couple of days to get used to it. Somemore, force my mom to show him the cup where she keeps the pacifier. He was convinced when he could not find his pacifier. Now u asked him where his "teh teh" is, he would say, "No more..throw!"

Must persist. For a few nights, he couldn't sleep properly without his "lifeline". My mum merely pat pat him and he went back to sleep. Find other means to comfort himself to sleep. My next task is to toilet train him. After "poo poo", then tell me.

talking about weaning off the pacifier...i wanna try on Z too but very difficult cos nowadays he will look for his tutu cos he knows where we kept it. And if he can't find it, he'll just pop didi's tutu into his mouth leh. As for toilet train, he is still not ready cos a few time, hb showed him how to pee but no pee come out from Z leh...

My boy was like that initially..no pee come out. But after 2 or 3 days, viola, it came out..He was happy as well.

I dare not wean T yet cos I duno how to handle him yet w/o his pacifier ! :p:p:p I weaned my #1 off when she is 3 and girls, I find, are more sensible and mature compared to boys ! she can understand us that we tried to wean her off.

As for toilet train, yes Blackbatz is right... be patient... now T wears diaper during his nap time and night time.

I must really kow tow to Krystle leh ! her girl so capable !!! can tahan until next day liao ! see ! I told u girls are more sensible lar ... hehehe

yvonne, ya sometime he can bleed 2-3times a day. Have brought him to polyclinic and specialist and even done the blood test but nothing found. they just told me that its very common for children to nosebleed.

krystle, my boy have been hurting his head since young, don't know any link. but sometime he knocked his head he will start to bleed.

eNemum, understand from my hubby, he also nosebleed when he was young and only stop after a punch from his pri classmate. guess family background also link.

tongtong, i did but as what i say nothing found.

Never have 1 month but heavy enough for me to note the difference. Especially after giveing birth to No.2. I think your must monitor closely. Ask your gynae more questions like how the pills will help you etc..

When I delivered #1 in 03, there was a middle age lady who was there to remove the womb cos she was having menstration for more than a month. She was scheduled for an evening opertion. She was fine in the morning. Suddenly, she went into shock and became unconscious after lunch cos she lost too much blood. In the end doc must perform emergency op.

Hi Mummies,

I am off the pill this month. will officially start TTC next month onwards according to Gynae's advice. Wish me luck. =)
 


RaeAnne is starting to make 'poo poo' sounds to tell me that she has pooed and to change her diapers. After the fact but better than nothing bah. ;P
