wow chartis revert so fast to u arh? i waited 1.5mths to chase them for my dad car leh... btw is the $34k higher than your paper value? i just bought a second hand car - toyota wish and i find it quite nice to drive leh... like wat krystle say heavier and more stable i feel.. no pointing buying new car now as the COE is crazy but i earn from the "craze" cos i sold my 1+yr old freed for a profit.
my frens were puzzled y i sold my new car and get old car cos i have the same tots as u... no point paying for bank loan so sell high for my Freed and buy old car loh... no need to pay loan liao.

Steph, oh yah, most public pool shower rooms are not suitable for kids. My gal still don't know how to wash / shower with shower head on top. So now I love swimming at my own condo pool... Can bathe in the comfort of my own toilet after that.
How u all shower for ur kids at public pool? They bend their heads downwards?

Krystle, ohhh... My gal don't bathe in bath tub anymore la... But my mum never train her to bend downwards instead train her to raise her head and look upwards, like how salons wash our hair. So those with fixEd shower heads is a big no no. Last time always fight and struggle with her in the shower room when we go public pools!!! Haha...

my dad policy indicate that he can claim up to max $300 for the medical bills. i was told to post in the original receipts to claim too. i m still comtemplating whether to claim for my dad cos his medical bill is only $100+ and i didn't claim any $ for the car damage from chartis cos i sell to scrap car buyer directly and drop the claim. so i m still thinking whether it's worth to claim insurance for just for medical bill and cause higher premium in the future for his case.

He also calculate the millage everytime he pumps oil so should be quite accurate in terms of his calculation.
Yup, parking was difficult initially and my hubby was not confident too coz the previous car was VIOS too. I think it is just a matter of time to get used to the size bah.

superbee, krystle, oic, 2nd hand Wish less than $50k n save fuel then still not bad leh.
is there air con outlets at the back cos my Vios dun have n Raeanne always complain very hot at the back. otherwise, I was thinking of Honda Stream cos my friend with 3 kids was driving it n it seems not bad, very smooth.

For the pool and beach, how deep is the pool? Do they have kids pool? And allow us to wear t-shirts in or must have proper swimsuit? My son has no swimsuit so if he cannot wear tshirt to wade in and play water, i need to go and get one soon.

There is no aircon outlet at the back too... But I heard newer versions of WISH has, not too sure abt that though. My car is bought in 2006 so already 5th year (about the same as superbee's 2nd hand car, I suppose). You still can feel the aircon that is blowing from the front in the 2nd row. Maybe not feel that much of aircon in the 3rd row but not very stuffy I guess. So far people sitting in the 3rd row never complained much.
Yes, Honda Stream also not bad too.

Since you are staying at Festive Hotel, not sure if you are refering to Festive Pool? I did not went there so not sure. But if you want, can come over to Hard Rock Hotel pool so it is very nice. But like I said, it is 1/2 beach and 1/2 pool. The beach's depth is up to 100cm while the pool is rather deep, 1.2M. Most of the kids played in the beach area which is shallower, and also the kids' water play area. I think OK to wear t-shirts coz saw a few guests wearing that. But they most hanged around the beach and water play area though, never see anyone swimming in the pool with t-shirts.
Maybe just get a swimsuit for your boy? I also bought new swimsuits for my kids as they had none before too.
Think also better coz can keep them slightly warmer and not that heavy after soak in water???

i haven't been driving since Adelle was born but recently i started driving with the wish cos hb outstationed for a mth so i fetch the kids to and fro daily. so far i find parking still manageable. thus no need to worry too much. i also saw quite a number of pple driving avante too and they say not bad too. honda stream is nice but more expensive than wish. my maid and #2 sit in the 3rd row and she didn't complain abt hot cos the 2nd row middle seat can be folded down so allow the air to be flow backwards.

pixie, ya they got no website. husband n wife team so u got to email them. my price different cos I ordered both lunch n dinner n I have no soup for lunch cos we cook plain porridge. portions subjective, n i only tried 1 day so far. It's ok for us. but if big eaters or big meat eaters, then order 2 pax for 3 pax may not be enough.

pixie, I am stiff in the morning, can't get off bed without Ow, ow, ow. I got to lie flat on bed with iPhone to surf net most of the time so that I dun need to wear the restrictive brace. think my myopia power will increase after 6 weeks. Worse thing is that I cannot carry or play with RL on the floor so she has started rejecting me n only want the maid.

Hyundai Avante, I got sit 2 times before in my friend's car. Also not bad as in engine is rather quiet and drive is smooth. It is also slightly bigger than normal saloon car, internal also quite spacious. But for me, I don't go for Korea make so leave it for you to think about which is the best.

Yes, got reverse camera in WISH so don't worry. Yes, can play DVD in car to entertain the kids but we seldom do that.

This one is 3 years old. Used by HR for several months, and then XY used it at her nanny for a few motnhs. Still in good condition.
This one is 2 years old. Won by HR in a baby contest. He didn't have a chance to use it (cos he outgrew when he won it). XY used it at home for a short 2-3 months only. As good as new. Now keep in its original box in the store room.
