our mind is very quick and we dont hide with our spouse so we tend to say whatever that comes into our mind. and when i tok, i tok condensed version so he might not get my meaning too. thats why i sounded pms to him all the time haha...
must learn to pace slower and think before we talk.

*yawn*...last nite my #2 puke full force & bedsheet, blanket, beansprout pillow all soak with his milk (just finished drinking 200ml) & his 7pm dinner (porridge) + traces of papaya (his 4pm dessert)! This early morning another round! Have to clean him up, change bedsheet etc...so tiring man...having blood shot eyes

frankly speaking, nowadays , almost all women are educated and some r even higher educated or earning more than their hubby, so they can afford to be BIG WOMEN!
unlike last time, most women never study and onli stay home to do hsework and look after kids, tht why men are MCP.

My hb always had been singing praises abt how nice it is to stay with his parent. Yeah.. of course, cos he don't have to do anything, if we stayed alone (like now when my inlaws are back in msia during the school holidays). He talk abt convenience, don't have to cook meals, someone to take care of the young one when we have appt and even said that someone taking care of me. But still I rather stayed alone, had more hardworking.. It feels more like a FAMILY, a HOUSE.. and not doing things every now and then and thinking if I am doing the right "culture".

3 more yrs is still a long time.. "walk 1 step, see 1 step". Things could be diff then, now worry also no use.

Don't feel so negative. You are trying to show concern for his family mah. Maybe your hubby just happen to be bad mood (maybe due to job hunting too?)... Why you said even if new flat comes also cannot move in if ILs dun want to move? Then why buy the flat for???

Y'day went to mum's place @ Boon Lay. Mum also asked if hubby and I quarrelled recently. I said yes loh due to maid issue (we both quarrelled until we both cried. Hahahaha). Then I asked how she knew. She said my hubby went to sms my bro and his wife (SIL) to tell that he is very "fan". I was like "wah".... Never thought he will share his emotions with my family leh. Coz I never did that with his family (even we both knew each other for 14 years!).

my BIL thinks like your hb too. honestly its convenient but i dont think its nice on the parents coz they do a lot for us. if we moved out, they could have done less cooking, less washing. our parents old liao rite.
see my mil do so much ard the house i oso heart pain. my bil is like lazy pig. eat, work, sleep. never have hsework one

Y'day went for another round of retail therapy but not shiok. Coz ended up buying clothes for the kids again.... Haiz... Wanted to buy new working heels before I start work. But cannot find nice shoes (those with strap at the back)... I cannot wear covered shoes coz skin very thin and will kena blisters.. Any recommendations where got alots of strapped shoes?

oh really? when me and my hb really quarrelled until very intense, i sms his mom. then his mom will try to tok sense into him...he found out...got so angry, that i "burdened" his family *PUIZ* so he made me PROMISE that i wouldnt "DISTUB" his family again.
but then, he only listens to his family and not me. if they dont tok to him and change him, i doubt no one else can. like that i die forever rite?
u know what we quarrelled about last time? abt the lack of commitment he has towards x. never take care of bb one wor...now better liao. x grew up liao can play liao he more involved

jess, then u must fight to stay in ur own flat! convince ur hb tht u guys mus move out and stay on ur own, to learn independence and also teach ur boy independence!

for me, i will not stay with my parent or parentinlaws! i value my freedom n privacy alot and i cant tahan with the old folks keep naggin at me! keeke...sagitarius are freedom lovers n hate to be controlled ;p

chances is slim to fight for such rites... cos b4 married he already say must stay with parents. the problem is nw my boy dun even have own room. cos my SIL is still staying there. she claims tat she is getting married next year la... but who knws? she dun get married then chances of me moving out is higher lor... hahahaa...
 
jess, ur boy dun sleep with u? my ger has her room, but that is onli her playroom. she insist to sleep next to me, which i hate.. coz everynite she sure 'box' or 'kick' me.

my hubby also sad, for past 2 yrs, he has been sleeping alone on the floor mattress next to us.

lol I feel that this kind of environnment makes my hb less independent.

My hb enjoys the relationships too. Mainly becos he only get to stay with them only when he is like 23 yrs old. He had been staying with auntie since 6 yrs old.. cos parent do biz in msia. He trying to sound like I am benefiting a lot from the staying together, and I can't manage without them.

Think we had the same issue. Hb very emotional-link with parent.. and we give in too much! Ren so much and sometimes they take us for granted. Same sil problem, urs got chance to get married next yr, mine will be at least need wait 10 yrs.

But then again.. continue to ren..
 
Aqua, my hub also complains that I’m very harsh and cho lo when I speak to him, different from how I speak to the son. Of course la, talking to kids must speak like kid ma!

Jess, once your flat is up why you cannot move over your own? Must move with ur in laws also meh?

i ok with my MIL coz apart from very kiasi, she is a nice lady.
yah, if my mil dont tok to his son, no one else can help him liao...but now i cannot tell my mil abt her son's stuff coz i promised my hb liao...sianz...slowly tok lor. nothing is impossible...

DMK got a lot of strappy shoes thats why i never buy dont like strappy ones coz the straps falls off everywhere when i walk.

i am beginning to feel tat i am not being appreciated by all the stuff i have done for him and his family. tats y i am so sad~... until nw, no sms from him~
 
sometimes you will feel being unappreciated. but there are sometimes you do see that they appreciate and actually "teng" you one. no one if perfect, especially the older generation ppl. they are bought up with values different from us. somethings they should do but never and vice versa.
no matter what, just take it they "teng" u. else they wouldnt have allow you to be in the same household as them

ok? ok? ok? we all must think positively. like my religion group say, all mothers are the sun of the family :p

We must also remember men are not willing to share their feeling easily as us women, even to their wife. I am sure your hub appreciates what you have done for him and the family, but he just didn't put it to words. You know what, after meeting with you at the ECP the other day, my hubby keeps praising your hub leh, he said he can see that your hub is a very good man (husband and father). Trust my hub, he usually sees people correctly. Just communicate more, never have too much talking between husband and wife one. Don't assume he knows what you are thinking, cos he is not. K!

I am a very traditional chinese woman. I do believe (as what my mum taught me) I have to put hubby above myself. I think this helps us to maintain a very good relationship. Lots of comprimising. And this has got nothing to do witht the education and salary, it's from the heart :)

But this morning 7am, he drank only 100ml also puke!
 
Kam, you are really those “xiao3 niao3 yi1 ren2”, xiao3 nu3 ren2 type hor!! For me I’m not, I’m the one who bullys hubby type one , oops. And, I’m not the one who puts hubby above me wor. If he does something wrong against me, he wont see me and the son when he is back home liao. Okla, seems like i'm a bad wife.:p

my hair dropped for both #1 and #2 when they hit 3mths old... i also dunno when it will stopped cos my #2 is now 5.5mths old & i still dropping hair leh... i cant recall when it stopped for #1... :p
 
steph, did u switch him to soya milk? if he keep vomitting, pls feed him plain porridge water, keep him hydrated,

My hair loss is also very bad this round. My whole hse is full of my hair... I'm so scared to wash my hair & blow dry my hair...can see a big pool of hair after that...so scary..

Very guilty juz now... Took a bus back from class with my boy.. i didn't hold him properly & his head bang onto the pole.. We were sitting down next to the door, facing the right side of the bus... i thot it was not that painful but somehow my boy started to cry... COS so many aunties asked him "OK?" & bus driver even stop & turn behind to check on us... a bit "Malu" too... Think my boy thot he did something wrong..so many strangers' attention on him all of a sudden & cried pitifully...When back home, i asked him "is your head still pain?", he still pat on his head like telling me pain... so xin tong.. blame myself for being so careless..I hv even change my heels to wedges & now even to FLATs... but still, i'm such a clumsy mummy ;(
 
hey mummies I ordered cake Liao not in shape of 2 tho coz the cake will be smaller not enuff to eat. it's 126 fir a 4.5kg cake with a picture of lake n cute animals plus a 2 written on top plus happy bday. so each set pays $5.05 means u get ard 2.5 slices of cake
