initially thot edd 12 dec wont lugi that much (at least can tahan til end of term 1) but now may bring forward by as much as 2 wks.

after your c sec, u nvr 100% regain the feeling in your tummy? I thot i was the only one. though #1 almost 2 yrs old, the scar area still not totally with feeling, a little numb numb.

last nite went for my granma's birthday, everyone was commenting that my tummy v big, even bigger than my first one. but gynae said that she's expected to be smaller than #1! oh man, that means mummy put on a lot. actually, nvr really lost wt after my 1st, so this time round put on less. hope bb puts on, and I dun

claire, im a teacher too. haha...for mi oso i praying and hoping i dun lugi mi ML so hopefully bb either kuai kuai only come out ard edd which is 15dec or after. if not if earlier, den will be whole of dec wasted. aiyo..
i heard fr mi SIL too that C section like will never recover fully coz like feel the wound there will have the feeling. so u oso have that feeling..

different ppl adapt to changes differently.. so dun need to worry.. just rest more and eat more.. actually durians do help bb to grow but do eat in moderation..

during my 2nd tri.. i walk about 1km almost everyday in the morning from my hubby's office to mine.. but once i hit the 3rd tri.. walking seems slow and tiring already.. so now maybe walk 1km twice a week only.. other than that.. no other form of activity already..

then feet swollen in the night and hands swollen in the morning.. so sianz lor..

so dun worry.. guess all the problems start coming in the 3rd tri..

if u're giving birth in TMC.. dun need to pack anything for bb.. all is provided and like what Mrs Wong says.. bb will be covered from head to toe in Thomson logos.. haha.. a thomson branded baby..

tried to convince my hubby to get but he say wait for our new house to come then can measure the bb's room and get a suitable one for her..

i'm already convince on how good the mat is already.. haha.. now is need to convince my hubby.. but i've placed it under my wish list and will get it when someone is willing to 'sponsor' the mat.. hahaha

pls take care! rest and eat more nutritious food such as wholemeal bread, milk, fish and meat. Try to take more fruits that are rich in Vit C such as kiwi, plums etc. talk to your baby often and keep a positive mind! dun worry, everything will be fine!

basically, the product are the same if you refer to LG brand. so far i only organised LG brand bumper playmat. unlike her, she has LG and non-LG. i not sure wat is the brand for non-LG cos she never mentioned.

regarding running nose, can try boiling a few slices of ginger with dried longan for about 15 mins. drink the water and eat the longan too! however, you mentioned that you are having cough too, is it the heaty or cooling type? if heaty type, then this remedy might be too heaty for you lei, probably reduce the amount of ginger.

just to share. Few days ago I went to People's Park to buy bb stuff. It's the store that some of you recommended. The boss's name is Winne, very nice lady. She advised me to buy some disposable spread to lay on the bed during confinement (like those used in hospital). So in case any blood drip out from disposable panty, won't dirty bed. Can also use when later bringing bb out, can let bb lie on it while changing nappy. I thought it is a very good idea.

the disposable sheets or undersheet pads are available at pharmacies such as guardian, unity etc. so far, the cheapest is from the pharmacy at Raffles hospital. cost abt 7 plus for a pack of 10.

i got sports bra instead of maternity bras from jockey and wacoal... ;P we'll the strap is adjustable so you can just loosen it when breastfeeding. it's very comfy too! it should be avail at most major deptal stores such as Robinsons and Metro. Happy shopping!

read before that some mummies carry them around when its near their due date to cushion the leakage juz in case waterbag burst. so it kind of serve a lot of purposes. kekeke

basically, the product are the same if you refer to LG brand. so far i only organised LG brand bumper playmat. unlike her, she has LG and non-LG. i not sure wat is the brand for non-LG cos she never mentioned.

for the disposable sheets, i got mine from KKH pharmacy when i had my #1, cos after delivery i also scare will stain the bedsheets, in the end didn't use! hahaha... so still have it @ home now... if get from pharmacy, u can choose the qty u want, rather then buying a pack lor... can't recall how much/pc liao...

mummies getting excited EDD is near?? am worry abt how in wat situation i'll be in when am in labour... hahaha.. cos my #1 i had 'show' so juz time my contractions then go hospital when i think it's near delivery... but i scare #2 will have water bag burst, furthermore i'll be working... scare will be messy... haiz...

yeah i find the sheet useful too. haha when i doing my malay massage or during the time i have lochia i put on the bed to prevent staining the sheets....
 
Etelle, ya lor, i hope i can go to hospital in time leh... cos i read in some articles, they say if deliver #2, the contraction time will be like half of #1, esp when i saw news abt a woman who delivered @ her void deck @ sembawang & i'm juz 2 blks away from her leh!! so scary, dun wanna be in those awkward situation man... so was telling myself, if tis time know it's contractions coming, will go to KKH immediately! hahaha... my mum told me tat too... she say #2 will be fast... i super scare...
