I also bought one new oven that can do the steaming function too. No space to keep a oven and another microwave.

hello mummies, i got a qns. Anyone here gynae in TMC but deliver at Mt Alvernia?
My friend gynae @ TMC, but her sis just delivered @ TMC and we think that the nurses there not very pro-breastfeeding. Tell her that her bb too big, breastmilk not enough must supplement with formula...

Kittybride, i just bought an Electrolux built-in oven for new house from Harvey norman. Triple-layer glass door so when bb touch won't burn herself. haven't tried it yet cos i haven't move in to new house. Right now i'm using EF oven at my old place. not bad also.

My mil is the type afraid of maid one lor. While maid cooking, she will be there to help her and instruct her for fear the maid will do short cut or what. Know the 9pm show on channel 8 on housewives? I was joking with my hubby that i will also someday go learn cooking at CC.. Wow, he was so happy man.. and tell me never mind.. even if i wanted to wait till kicia is 3 also nvr mind so long i bother to learn... mother and son the same la.. expect me to cook.

I dont mind both pastries or cooking with the oven.. but hor, problem is I am not very familiar with the equipment. And i will make a mess out of everything from sifting the flour to beating eggs. I will normally try baking while the 4 kiddos are asleep and i have the help of the maids to help me wash up and clean up the stuff. Frankly, if I have to climb to bring down the utensils from cupbaord, wash and clean from A-Z, i really dont think i will embark on it.
Maybe I will buy the oven when i shift to the new house so that my hubby can hve 'home cooked' food at times lor. Anyone ever hear people saying no good to eat food from oven too frequently boh ah? But i tink maybe no impact one right since it's only between or waves?

I remember hearing my fren telling me that she visited her gynae at mount E clinic.. delivery can choose betw Mount A, Mount E or Thomson. My fren used the same gynae both times, but delivered first one at Thomson and second one at Mount A.

Pig, ur oven is microwave one har? Try not to use that to cook lah.. but if its those normal oven type. Its only the food heaty.

Weishy - I already put on 3 kg over a week!! Just went to the gynae this morning and i have gained 3kg...OMG! 2nd one faster ah....so better have to watch my eatings then. I feel hungry every 2 - 3hours leh....

my 'fan' so far is my nephew lor. He will eat the muffin and cookie that i baked and say they are nice. My hubby hor, wa lau, give me the kind of look like ma chiam inedible. like that how to motivate me? Think I will end up grilling and baking chicken wings nia la.
 
ASHM, brought A to PD on sat morn, started her on antibiotic yesterday. No improvement to her cough yet. Tmr will bring her to try YU GUO at Kembangan. Heard Hunag Yi Shi is very good with cough & constipation.

k@ye, will you be home tonight since Claire is back? Weekend was a mad rush for me so no time to drop by.
 
Cindy: Ya 6kg now still ok. U stil got ur post natal massage not commenced yet. Should be ok to get rid of the rest, given that u put on abt 18kg right? U are doing quite well, since already 2/3 gone, and without massage.

ASHM: wow, that's quite a bit for 1 week. No terrible MS I hope?

Me in 15 weeks now, put on less than 2kg. Saving for when I go back to Singapore in mid April. Was telling my gang of good friends, I need to make a trip to ABC market for hawker food and geylang for durians... I better see Dr Chan before I indulge in these sinful stuff, else he will get so upset with me. haha...
 
Hey any mummies free to meet up between 13 to 16 April. Sorry, know it's weekdays, but these are the only few days I have in Singapore, before my NZ trip from 17 April to 1 May and then I will be returning to Shanghai on 3 May... We can do a high tea or somethg. Haha, actually craving for the durian pudding at Merchant Court Hotel haha...
 
Poissons: do you feed G vitamins on a regular basis? I mean I am not sure if it is absolutely helpful, but I have been feeding Matt Vitamin C and cod liver oil and mixing colostrum powder with his water since 6 mths. Matt hasn't been terribly sick before (*touch wood*) except for a mild cold / cough at the start of winter. I think to a certain extent, it does help build up his immune system.

I only started feeding him cord liver oil a couple of weeks back and this absent minded mummy always forget to feed him, so it's not regular. Sigh..guess I have to buck up but it's not really easy to feed him, when he sees the spoon coming, he will run away or cry like I'm feeding him poison.

Cindy, i put on 17kg when i was pregnant with Claire... Hehehe, i lost it within 6 mths. :p but the tummy still flabby! Must drink more water lah!

Weishy, seen the url liao... Price same as the one that my cousin supplier for the Japan FM.

I think Claire misses my HK aunt. She was like looking for her at home....
 
Cindy: haha ya we decided that we needed to have a last good holiday before #2 comes along. Cos after #2 comes, it wil be at least another good 2 years before we can go on trips. And even then, not for so long. We tried bringing Matt to HK and Macau. It's really tiring. All his barang and stroller.

Good luck on ur tummy. Remember to keep ur binder on after the massage. I think it helps a lot. Haha, hmm still quite unsuccessful, wakes up at 4am and stands up in his cot. We often have no choice but to bring him onto our bed and then he dozes off immediately. sigh. Still trying super hard.

poissons: hmm maybe try to make it a habit. we always feed after he bathes and then after these, he brushes his teeth. The vitamin C is mango flavour and cod liver oil is strawberry flaour, so I guess it helps to cover any medicine or fishy taste?
 
Cindy, yes i dropped to my pre preg wt (even lighter than aft my 1st bb) at ard 4-5mths. cos i TBF ma, so that period M was in a growth spurt, suck me like a vampire...LOL...lost alot...then aft she starting solids, less demand for BM..hahaha u see me now lo....jialat!

ya aft 2nd one not really abt the wt, but more like lotsa flabby skin ard...tummy, arms etc...so besides dieting, also need to tone ah.....
 
Poissons, saw ur blog just now... Wow G so forward!! So did Grace manage to pacify A? I think A might be too overwhelmed by his 3 *muaks*.
 
Poissons: Wow G so cute... Hahaha. I taught Matt the smuak action / sound with his lips for 2 months now. but he still hasnt kissed me on the cheek or lips yet. Except for once when he kissed me on the cheeks after I read him his fav story book. How did u manage to teach G that? hahaha...

haha..yeh..G damn sporting (and obedient)..ask him to kiss, he really kiss..and 3 times some more!

I also forgot how we trained him, think was we demo to him how to kiss him, then asked him to kiss us back. Initially he kissed with his mouth opened, so the kiss was quite WET, now better liao, he can kiss with the "muack" sound and he can either kiss you on the cheeks or on the mouth upon your request..hahaha..cheekopei..
 


I also taught Claire to kiss me on the lips and the cheeks... but everytime i tried to kiss her on the lips, she will turn her head away.

Whenever we asked her to kiss us, she will go "Muack" and plant it on our cheeks (in good mood).. Otherwise, she just make the "muak" sound.
