Weishy, yalor... at least got wave bye bye! Think HAyley will be sociable & independent too!

Claire ah, depends on her mood one.... She happy will wave bye & give me flying kisses! Buey song, will cry buckets!

hahaha... how come our gals so temperamental one ah...
my gal usually will give me flying kisses if we part halfway - i go bus stop & hb bring her to nanny's. she's like so happy i'm leaving like dat... sigh...

as for waving bye bye, seems like she doesn't wana do that anymore lor. last time will still wave, now just stare at you or give flying kisses. and she stil dun know how to give a kiss on the cheek, end up will give you a 'heading' instead! will move her head near ur cheek and smile cheekily. aiyoh, dun knw where she learn that?!

E also waves bye bye and gimme flying kiss. But nt with my HB. He knows my HB will bring him out for BF every morning, so he clings to him and seek his attention. If my HB skip BF with him, he will cry buckets! Guess he is used to this routine for the past one year le.

Kitty: Nt sure if i'm paranoid. But did u observe C's behaviour when she sees the nanny? Nanny treating her well? Is her behaviour diff during the weekdays and weekends coz u usually send her to the nanny on weekdays. Anyone plays/talks to her during the day?

missA: I have not habe ur Ash DOB. Can u call up to look for Lynn to update our girls DOB. I have given her the girls' names liao.

Mischa - 7/11
Cailyn - 15/11

Time: 1400 - 1530 on thur.
SMS me when everything confirm.

Me tmr not coming in liao.. Plan for MC.. heehee..

tmr nanny not free to look aft C, my HB cannot look after alone coz he doesnt know how to prepare food for her... only milk.. sigh..

kitybride: i agree with cactusnah. Check and observe her behaviour. Although kids do go thru stages, its unlikely that she kicks a fuss for no reason. They are learning social skills now and could possibly need more attention and talking to in the day. Sometimes, if the need is unfulfilled, they get frustrated and talking to them more can help them get past it. For me, J waves bye bye and kiss when I have to go. He doesn;t cry, unless I'm going to leave him alone with a stranger. HAha... this boy doesnt need me!

I'm also delaying the MMR but slightly worried, cos I'm putting him in halfday school from 18 months... sigh, what a dilemma.

Autism can only be diagnosed at 2 years. Before this there are signs you can look out for. However, be careful not to make an observatin too soon, as some children are introverts and tend to open up later. There are books u can read up on special needs.

I rem Cindy asking abt Little Neuro Tree (formerly Trio?) - so I looked up their website and went down to their Toa Payoh branch this morning. They can give u free trials but u need to commit for 3 consecutive wks (cos each session is in 1 language, English, Chinese and Jap) Will be bringing ZY to try out

mummies, what are the things to look out for when a baby fell from the bed? my sis's son (8 mths) juz fell down from her bed, she left him there cos' thot he was fast asleep..now she's crying buckets, waiting to bring him to kkh to do a thorough check...sigh.

Grace, i might go during the weekend lah.. But see how it goes!!!

I m only afraid that its' limited design, limited size sale only!

Poissons, the following points:

1. Did ur nephew cried big time after the fall? If yes, dun hv to be so worried coz he s not in shock.
2. Any vomitting?
3. Any abnormal behaviour?
4. Any fever?
5. Check the joints for any broken bones, like got swollen at that area or he cried when u touched the joints.

Btw, the doctors at KKH will tell your sis to monitor him for 72 hours for any abnormalities one. Also, the KKH doc told me that they re worried abt head injury, and usually signs of head injury will arise within 48 hours.

kaye:: hope you're feeling better now!

k@ye, A still having running nose. I prob collect the crocs tmr. Anyway they are still too big for her at the moment.

kitty, nowadays we switch on her DVD in the morning so that when her eye glue to TV we do our stuff else she'll be roaming ard on her own.

Cindy, u ah... Me not PI but i just happened to see it and tell u lor... No trees yet lah, they re still building...

Life w/o Claire is funny... But okie lah, at least can hv a bit of time for myself lor...

MissA, forget to tell u... Me & hubby wont be home tomorrow morn coz we r going to check out the childcare centre & i got to work. Plus he is going to my in laws pl after the childcare centre appt.

kaye:: HAHAHA!! okok keep me updated continuously!! so exciting.. haha ya loh. i also want time for myself.. sighhhh!!

Sat go see childcare, nothing to see ley... why not wkday?

Cindy, me just go there to see facilities lah... If truly want to see hor, must bring Claire there on a week day to see how she reacts to the place!

Poissons, ur nephew will be alright! Just ask ur sis not to blame herself too much lah... Noone wants such things to happen lah!

missA:can also....jsut tat hayley will be tired already btu its oki la ....u chk where to eat good food first har kakakakkakakak

MissA, will be sending her to childcare when she is 18mths old...

She is too active till my Mum buey tahan. Send her to the childcare will be better coz she gets to learn and play with others lah!

Original plan was to send her to the one near my Mum's pl but the lift upgrading project at my Mum's pl causing Claire's eczema to flare up lor... So now got to look for alternative child care centre near Redhill, my hubby's wk pl or my work pl...

Best part is near Redhill or my hubby's wk pl all got to wait till 2010! Only the kinderland near my work pl got vacancy in May.

weishy, me hv not step into Funan for donkey years! Is MacDonalds good, ahha!

Poochi may know better, any good food recommendation?

k@ye, childcare so hot one ah! I am also visiting LSH tmr. At most I will stick with current centre which is most convenient for me.

MissA, LSH = Little Skool Hse?

Yup, childcare very hot... Everything also on waiting list... Me really buey tahan.... Its like teaching our kids to be KS from young!

miss A, hmmm Funnan theres TCC, swensens, delifrance, pasta mania, macs, coffeeclub inside timesbookshop, paradise inn(chinese food), ya kun, qi ji(halal) .... quite common food nothing spectacular to recommend u
happy.gif
BTW I didnt know they have children's enrichment class at funan. ha ha..

missA: Let me know how you find LSH. =) You're checking out the "By the Vista" branch right? Can help me ask again when is the open house? The last time they told me it would be around March. Thanks!!!

MissA, alot of childcare these days are air-con! The one i m checking out is Kinderland, they told me its air con but got outdoor playground...

MissA, yes alot of CC are air-conditioned.but usually they will be switch on at very low temp. no choice i also didnt like that. but they do hv a good balance of outdoor activities and during their lunch/ teabreaks so its nt that bad.

Little Neuro Tree - Just want to share with you ladies....Was talking to a mummy at Kindermuzik today about SM and she told me her son is attending lessons at Little Neuro Tree. Some teachers there were formally from SM and many parents switch from SM to there as they find SM is too commercialised and stressful for the kiddos + the parents in some cases.....

Seimpi School of Music - Heard the classrooms in the main branch Funan Ctr can be quite small.... They have about 10 kids in a class... MissA, Weishy, mambobb, let us know your view after the trial class please....TIA!!!

Mummies,
juz came back fr LNT trial.. ZY cried cos she is hungry, end up i gotta bring her out of class. She managed to sit through for 20min in total, not bad for my gal i would say. Will be going for the Jap session next wk, will rem to feed her more snacks this time!

ashm/ lazykat
actually we(Grace and I) attended LNT - formally known as TRIO when our girls were abt 6mths old.
overall was ok, but i was quite disappointed with the Jap lesson. they called me up n i put my name on waiting list till next yr..hahaha cos i dun think M is ready for it to sit properly thru n i cant decide to put her in which brand as i will be moving hse this yr.
In my opinion, LNT is nt that bad....its quite the structure i was looking at but cheaper than SM. i might be sending M there aft mid of this yr

As they claim they emphasise whole brain stimulation, so besides flash cards, we also do quite a bit of hand-eye coordination stuffs. Of course, some sing-a-long session. Quite enjoyable for me on the whole (not sure abt ZY tho..) - will prob sign up for it provided she din cry the next 2 sessions..
