Shoes!!! My fave!! Hehe, Claire has 4 pairs of new shoes all ready to be worn!!! 2 pairs are gifts while the other 2 pairs are bought by me!!

Ya, Clarks shoes are good if u re willing to spend! Saw that at Robinsons got some clearance for Clarks!

Kat, Claire's feet also big... I think i can get her the Betula kids' size shoes soon also.... Still thinking to spend the $$ on her or not...

Also, try not to let our little ones to wear shoes made of synthetic material.... Cannot breath, the perspiration all trapped inside...

shoes... my fav topic too!
C is definitely a PETITE gal coz she can still wear her 0-6m oshkosh! (GASP!) but i think wun last another month coz now seems a little tight liao.

C has about 5 pairs of walking shoes and another 5 pairs that is waiting for her feet to grow bigger! :D but she prefers to go bare-feet or just wear socks if possible. always will cringe her toes when i put on the shoes for her! sigh....

MissA,
that's the site which i almost ordered the croc for C as well. anyway, will consider a 'fake' croc as well coz HB also said no nid to waste $$$ since C might not like it.

and yes, saw A's blog on her eating the french fries! really WOW... she can really eat a big chunck of it!! :D

kitty, I also almost wanted to order and realise the 20% bo liao. Nx time got crocs offer muz tell me hor. C's feet is so tiny. A almost out grow her Old Navy 18-24 mths sneakers.

I also quite surprise she gobbled the fries juz like that! Then hor if porridge have a slightly lumpy pc of fish or potato, she'll pui out, faint!

A survived her 1st Shichida class today. Out of the 6 toddlers, one boy ran around the class most of the time. A also cannot sit still and went to play hide and seek with the boy for a while. A few times, she went up the table. When teacher do flash cards, she dun pay attn. When teacher play music, she guai guai sit and shake her body. I'm so glad when the lesson ended haha, nx week muz ask hubby to sit in with her.

hi poisson, the URL miss A gave is correct.
but i dropped my order after i was informed that there's no more 20% and ordered myself from the site.
wanted to get sport shoes for baby A but her feet too small! now she's wearing Crocs C2/3 only.

missA,
ya, i also 'gian' the extra 20% off dats y i placed order lor. :D

C will pui out lumpy bits in her porridge too. lately she also "buay si tiam" while having her lunch/dinner. after a few mouthfuls will wana get down to do her walkabouts then come back again when we call her over for another spoon. sianz lah, coz she will end up not finishing her food most of the time!

she oredi so petite liao, now with all these 'eating & exercising' at the same time routine will surely make her skinnier! GAH!!

Wow, all oof u got so many pairs of shoes for your little ones.
J has just 1 pair of walking shoes (Clarks) and 1 pair of crocs.
He's outgrowing the wlking shoes, so I am looking at buying a new pair for CNY. cos he's walking quite well now. I'm so amazed at the pairs of shoes all the kids have!

smilemum:girls more variety mah so mommies cannot tahan but by for them kakkakakakka including me of cos :p

missA/K@ye:yup claire ooks good in her mini cheongsam.....must get one for hayley laio kakkakakakkak

Calandar:
May I know is the month based on Lunar too or English one?

The age: Current age + 1 (irregardless after CNY)?

I want a boy boy but want him to come out next year.. if base on English month then I need to try next month liao and he will come out by this year too..

MissA, hahaha... Yalor, my blog usually is wordy... No pix to illustrate my point!
happy.gif

Thanks! We wanted to buy her a cheongsam over the weekend but my Mum told me not to buy coz she will sew for Claire!! Hahah! My dear gal managed to con her popo another dress!

Weishy, i think HK more variety of those cheongsam for gals...

Mambobb, that lunar calendar is for fun only lah.. No need to believe 100% one... Its natural for us to have a child of another gender from our 1st one... But i dun mind having the 2nd one to be a gal too... Coz can save $$ on clothes! (As if!)

ASHM, Dreamer, Rachel, MissA, lazykat, plim, Sharron and yr 2 girlfriends

it was great meeting up all of you... We can do it again for CNY.
happy.gif
It was really nice fun exchange information, chatting and etc. Our mouths always full with talking or food.
happy.gif

mambobb, yah for fun only not 100% true. Anyway heres the full article:
http://www.asiaone.com/print/Just+Woman/Motherhood/Stories/Story/A1Story20080414-59692.html

"The would-be mother's Chinese lunar birth year should correspond to a particular Chinese lunar month in which the baby is conceived in order to determine the baby's gender. A person's lunar birth date is always one year older than his or her age according to the Gregorian calendar that is used today, whilst the lunar month can be consulted from a Chinese lunar year calender."

Happy New Year and Good Morning Ladies!

Rachel - Definitely, lets meet up again for CNY -I will be back from Paris at the end of this month

Shoes - I have been buying shoes for Ash even though he doesn't know how to walk yet... Now looking for a pair of nice sandals for him. Any idea where to get the baby Haviannas here? Seems like not many places are selling them except for the adults' ones

Cindy,
i went to the zoo on both sat & sun. sat we went to all the shows, while sun was walking ard looking at the animals. both days ended with waterplay at kidzworld & Jovan totally loves it! on sun, he started screaming once we put on his swimwear. so excited! it doesn't matter if Travis cant walk yet lah. he will still enjoy. Jovan enjoyed looking at the animals only on sun. sat he looked blur when we were watching the shows. but on sun, he kept pointing at all the animals & he said "roo" when we were at the kangaroo area. farnie!

grace,
i saw ur blog. Ash is SO happy at the waterplay!

lazykat,
thanks for the word of caution. luckily Jovan din get hurt. but i find tat the water is v dirty. i got totally soaked yday. din bring my change of clothings & smelled on the way home.

shoes:
my fav topic (for now) too! wanted to ask u ladies wat shoes to buy. but as usual, i forgot again =P Jovan outgrew 3 pairs of soft-sole shoes - disney, fox & 3rd pair dunno wat brand. i think his shoe size quite small compared to some babies here. now he's wearing disney size 4 & zara size 22. still have 3 pairs waiting for him - aprica, gymboree & 3rd pair (soft-sole & dunno wat brand). last weekend, we just realised tat we shouldn't let J wear soft-sole shoe already =P so we let him wear the zara shoe to the zoo. think it's becoming a bit tight, can see the socks markings on his feet. luckily never keep until CNY.

catherine: WOW! both days!
happy.gif
hehe so fun!! i didn't get to go to the zoo cause my 'date' was sick. haha but we went shopping and library. haha was his first trip to library and he Loooves it too!

shoes:: hehe if anyone is looking for pediped shoes, OG has them!
happy.gif
I don't know if should still get him those soft soled shoes or those hardy soles for CNY esp when he can't walk yet.. aiyo... headache..

shoes:
I got shoo shoos for my gal soft and comfy. The soles are also non-slippery. Bought it when they were at US$10.

catherine,
wah u went to the zoo on both days... so happening. Glad jovan enjoys it =)

regarding Shoes:
This is a hot topic man...Ash loves her shoes and she knows where i keep the new ones, so each time i open the drawer, she will dive her little hand in and pull one out... haahaa so i am not the only one with lots of new shoes. thank god....
new ones:
- 3 crocs
- 1 stride rite
- 1 nike
- 1 gucci

currently wearing,
- 1 bical
- 1 gucci

kaye...
so qiao to bump into u on sat... i so dazed...haahaa dazed from beco her and carrying her backpack. and u know who i met later at dinner... i saw kyra and her mummy ( mummy who bakes all the delicious staff and make us drool)... so blur, the girls were making frens and then i realised i know her..haahaa

grace, I also saw Ash has so much fun at the zoo that I asked my dad to get me free tickets. Will prob go on weekdays not so crowded and cos weekends schedule quite tight.

Grace, hahah... Isit! I tot my eyes playing trick on me when i saw Ashlyn wearing the Gucci shoes!!! My hubby was commenting that u re very strong to beco Ashlyn leh... Btw, what is Bical beand?

Yalor, i also bugged my hubby to get the zoo pass again from his company. The 1st time we got the zoo pass but din go coz it was the 7th mth.

Cindy, the pediped shoes selling for SG$60 leh.. I rather spend the $$ on my shoes!
happy.gif

Poissons: Ha...I wanted to SMS u to share the gd bargain aft i settle my dad's shopping then bump into you liao. Hee...i almost wanted to jump in front of you that day coz u both are so tall, scare u cannot see me. Ka ka...

Catherine: Wa, yr zoo trip sounds fun. Shall plan to go one of these wkend.

Poochi: The calender is accurate for me.

Grace: Wow, Gucci.

missA...
i already asked ashlyn's godma to get the zoo pass. fwah... the queue is SUPER long. and the next available date is in APRIL... ah imagine..
its the weekend of 18 Apr. if anyone wants to go together can lah..its fun to go together...

Kaye,
Bical is shoes with socks attached. the sole is very flexible and its very comfy. you can check this out at either this website or go down to mother's work at tanglin/ GWC.
http://babymeadows.com.sg/shoes/bical/

as for ashlyn ah... yah i nearly died beco-ing her.. we walked from 2 - 6pm leh.. she is abt 10kg, then the bag, i say got 2kg bah.. cos got water bottle, hot water, thermos food etc...i hunch like mad liao.. but backpack works better, the side bag, i cannot carry...

regarding gucci shoes...
heehee i very tum sim, i got the silver and pink mary janes... silver still unused... if by then cannot wear, i may sell away...

grace, wow GUCCI!
anyway I can understd how u feel abt carrying and lugging bb and stuff, cos i did that at genting while waiting for hubby to finish casino and now my back is aching. Worse is I using bjorn.

Grace: wah! You really spoil your little Ashlyn. =)Don't think I would let myself buy such expensive shoes for Ethan. Plus I think my hubby will karate chop me if I did. haha. He is very against luxury brands. If he ever buys me a LV or Gucci bag is the day I will die and go to heaven. hehe.

Wah, all these companies not bad huh? My ex company used to have but current one does not.

Cindy: If you want Travis to start walking, soft shoes are a good start. Once he is more steady, you should then switch to harder soled shoes or shoes with more ankle support like Nike/Adidas becos thats when they really anyhow hum-tum when they walk and the last thing you want is a twisted ankle. =P

kaye:: Haha ya loh! 60sgd. but very nice ley. Heee!

michviv: Haha. Yea. Okie, so now I hope he can walk steadily by cny so I can get him harder shoes!

Grace: gucci! Got picture ma? Wah!

Cindy,
library sounds fun too! do u know if they conduct reading sessions for our young ones? i remembered ShaneDiao brings his boy to library for such sessions but she's in US. i wonder if we have such sessions in SG. there's a library just down my block but i seldom bring Jovan there =P when my mum looked after J, she brings him there every morning at 10am so tat she can read newspapers.

zoo:
we went both days coz HB company got free passes. actually it was my HB's colleague who managed to get it, so we went with them on sat. then sun we went again, since it's free mah. hehehee

grace,
GUCCI shoes! WOW! Ash v pampered leh.

Mummies, wonder is yr bbies showing tantrums now? As all along I tot Isaac is a good boy but this weekend I saw a full blown one e.g. lying on the floor crying and kicking his legs to protest. Wonder is this a phase or something that will be outgrown with teaching?

Cindy,
i finally saw those pediped shoes, but @ Metro Paragon, but even after 20% disc, still ex!

MissA,
why stop at 1 leh? Usually i thot its the mummy who doesnt want, yr hubby unique ah..

Shoes:
Luckily i also no shoe fetish type, ZY is wearing her 6th pair of shoes, not inclined to buy more cos i think its better to let them try before buying. So will only buy again when she is abt to outgrow - not willing to splurge juz for CNY!

Rachel,
quite common leh, ZY will stamp her feet angrily and try to shake u off if u attempt to hold/restraint her. But impt thing is not to let them go away getting wat they want when they behave badly, else they will keep doing it, IMO.

Poochi, i stopped using Bbjorn when Claire is 8kg. Super stressful on my shoulders & back aching!

Rachel, Claire will also throw tantrums but by crying and screaming lor.. But like what Kat says, cannot let them go away getting what they want.

k@ye, tell me abt it. I rather carry her in my arms less siong. Dunno how my hubby can do it. Anyways its only for travelling we dun use it anymore now.

Grace - I should think the class is still on on that day because it is not a public holiday?

Lazykat - The photo is so well taken - i am sure my girlfriends would love it. Could you please email to me so that I can pass it on to them. I have PM you. Thanks!
happy.gif

K@ye - Thanks for the info, i will check it out this weekend!
happy.gif

poochi, k@ye - i think the max weight for the Bjorn carrier is 12kg. i cant use it to carry Ash liao..... My shoulder and back was hurting when I used it a few months ago...so now i have passed it to my sis
happy.gif

Dreamer, me super jealous of Kaira's long hair!! Claire still a boy boy hair!!

Kat, Zy looked so big girl in the photo with the 2 "nannies"!

Weishy, when u going to LAX? Got shopping list for u leh! Hahaha!

Hehe, think i will die if i use bbjorn to carry Claire now. I bought a Pikkolo (something similar to Beco) to ferry Claire to & fro Bedok & redhill everyday!

k@ye: Dun say already. Ethan has been botak for the longest time. Sob! =(

Dreamer: Kaira is so pretty!

ZY & Kaira look like they had tons of fun exploring the Christmas tree. hehe.

dreamer,
i email u cos FB pics resolution very low.

Sharron,
drop u email liao.

K@ye,
dun worry lah, ZY also a boy boy.. ha. Prob the clothing she wears hence look older? She wanted to take an elderly Harrods bag and she also mistook her as a 2-yr old.. imagine if she has more hair, sure can bluff thru!

CAn only hope her hair grows longer.. maybe they shld introduce hair extensions for todds!

Poochi, K@ye,
dun even mention bbjorn or even beco, i start to feel strain carrying ZY - and she is not yet 10kg! And she doesnt like to sit in pram, was telling hubby maybe shld get those "leash" instead of hving to chase after them.
