ashm, k@ye, A also rolled down my bed last night while she is sleeping. She rolled together with the bolster (serve as a barrier). I fell asleep watching TV and then I heard her whine. Luckily the bolster cushioned her, I put her back to bed and she continue to sleep, phew!

MissA, that's y i dun dare to put Claire to sleep on my bed lor... coz if she fell down... jialat man! Claire also likes to roll ard in her sleep... sometimes she will roll till sleeping on the floor face down!

as for sleeping, i just ' downgrade' her... she is now sleeping on the single size mattress with a play yard surrounding. we wanted to change her to her bed with a bedguard but i dont think she is ready as yet... so for now, its on the floor. i kept her playpen already.

We just lowered Ash's cot to the lowest but looking at his length, i think he will outgrow it quite soon. Thinking of getting a toddler bed before he turns 2...not sure if it is a good idea.

For my case, i put Claire to sleep on the floor since she is 1 mth plus. So far so good lah, i cant sleep well if i put her to sleep with me on the bed coz i m worried that she will fall off or i accidentally hit her lor!
Like ASHM, i m thinking of getting her a single size bed too (low type one)... but most likely i will put a mattress on the floor to break her fall if she rolls out.
Psst, anyone knows where got sell pinewood furniture? Good quality one, not those from IKEA.

my girl can help the playpen. she will put her 2 legs on the netting i try to climb in or out. i scared one day the play pen topple on her....she also just toppled off the tricycle 2 days ago cos she leaned her weight on one side.
play yard is safer for now. i did buy the bed guard, cos eventually i want her to sleep on her toddler bed which can be convert to a single bed later... ( just have to remove the drawers and it will become single bed.)

ASHM, me wont put the bed guard one coz the bed i choose will be super low plus got mattress to break the fall and my room flooring is wood so the fall wont be painful lah..... Plus, i evil mummy, must let them know pain then they will be smart and wont try the stunts again! Hahha!

Drinking Cup - I bought the Avent Sipping Cup for Ash and is so difficult to drink from it. I tried and its difficult to suck the water out! Which brand is good and will not leak please? Thanks!

Cactus, thanks for your regards. Well work has definitely slowed down a bit, due to the economic downturn. Which may not be a bad idea since I can spend more time with Matt now.
ASHH, I think u can try the combi step 3, the one wiht a straw. We let matt try, he had more fun sipping the water and then let it flow out from his mouth. We watched them play until the whole cup all gone but he prob din drink much. then end up all wet, i got scolding from my mum, cos she worried he might catch a chill from the cold. Well, I am not giving up. haha

Cactus: Matt started walking one week before Xmas. It's really amazing cos once they start taking 1st unassisted steps and realise that, they gain confidence and actually walk quite well within a week. My mum says he walk like a crab with his hands up (being cautious in case he falls). I tend to think he walks like ginger breadman now. haha... He's getting ambitious this week. Starting to take larger steps and attempting to run abit.

Haha, actually din expect to be so accurate. After all, take me 1 year plus to kena for Matt. Then this time, I just tried for one mth, then kena... My hubby say buy 4D also not so chun. Act, I was telling grace, the thought of going through the whole process again tires me. It will take another 1 year 10 months or so before my new baby can be walking like Matt. And all the training on routine needs to be done again.

finally back but been busy with the post-holiday chores! grr...
anyway, been reading for the past 2 nites, so many post hard to catch up!

re: sippy cup
i got both the foogoo sippy and combi straw mug but my gal still prefers to suck from the teat (and being fed most of the time instead of self-feeding!). she tried drinking direct from our mug (monkey see monkey do) but end up the water all spilled to her top.
i tried letting her use the straw mug a few times, each time the straw goes into her mouth, she will bite the straw and pui it out oredi, then if i bring it near her again, she will turn her head and use her hand to push the mug away! think she dislike the hard material bah.

kate spade bags - saw there's a BP for an upcoming MAJOR sales; better than the current 50% + 30% off. not sure if any1 deal with her before (nick is cougar). scared later end up paying for substandard items.
