My hubby can't take over coz Claire will bully her papa lor. Yesterday, i told Claire that i heartpain to whack her and told her not to be so notti anymore.

I buey tahan my in laws, when she was wailing, they kept on pacifying her that led to her wail even louder.... So, i told everyone of them to ignore her but still.... SIANZ!
 


k@ye, MissA: Is it because Claire/Ash are teething? Ethan had a phase where he had lack of appetite cos of the pain. Had to keep on applying teething gel. Now he's ok liao.

If its not teething then they are in a naughty phase and are trying to test their boundaries. You may want to try putting aside the food and try again 15 min later?

Weishy: Can't imagine that you put on 24kg. You must have lost all the weight cos you look fine leh...=)

my girl also 'one kind' type... dun like her daddy... cos at home, when i try to put her down, she'll start wailing and worse if i put her with her daddy, wail even louder and NON-STOP! like ur in-laws lor, my in-laws and even my mum will try to pacify her! sometimes it's really hard to 'control' and tell everyone not to do so!

re: feeding
my gal also has become quite hard to feed during meal times liao... last time used to be very good, every mouthful will eagerly open the mouth... recenlty, even 1st mouthful, she will turn away already... i also suspect it's teething... haiz...

er... B got 8 teeth now, but her teeth not straight leh and got lobang in between... and i actually saw another tooh trying to come out behind/at the side of one of the tooth! anyone's bb teeth like tat also?

ladies:ya 24kgs!!!!!!i didnt eat much and no cravngs too......dunno why still so heavy.managed to go yoga daily hoping that i wont be so heavy but still......worst part is hayley's just 3.27kg meaning all weight is on me lor

me juz got back from my genting trip last evening. was speed reading all the back logs and so happy for Weishy on being preggie again, congrats!! overall the trip was good, G was a good boy throughout the road trip, very cooperative in the car, he kept himself entertained with the toys we brought along and also had long naps. The weather was good there too, so everyday is eat, sleep, play, shop for us..haha..a good break. G only got on our nerves when he can't wait to get out of the hotel room when we finished dressing him up and he doesn't like to sit in his pram, so most of the time daddy had to beco him which was very SHIONG!

Michviv, not teething lah.... Coz if cranky due to teething, she will reject it from the start. If she dun want to eat and just shake her head, i m fine.. but she go and pui it out... Wow... that really got to me!

Plim, heng my Mum never go and pacify her... If my Mum is around, she dun dare to do such stunts one!

G is also drinking that and we also noticed that alot of bubbles are formed when he drinks from the bottle. His appetite is still as good, but his poo is abit hard after we switched him from enfa. And not sure if it's the milk or what, he hasn't been able to sleep through the night for a while, always waking up once or twice, sometimes got to pat him back to sleep quite long before he dozed back off. So tiring. During the trip, he was ok for the first night, only woke up at 5am asking for milk then plonk back to sleep till 8am, the next night, he woke up like 3x..and last night also the same..really dunno what to do to help him sleep better..anyone has any suggestions?
 
poisson, we can sleep better if A is between us. If she stirred, we quickly give her pacifier and handky. If she's in her cot, her eyes big big then we realise she woke up and by the quite hard to pat her to sleep liao. Lately, she's been waking at 5plus for milk and will go back to sleep and wake up at 9am. On weekdays, have to wake her up to go school. This morn, I push her till near ACJC then she woke up cos going down slope and she nearly slide down from her stroller lol.
 
ahhh, i am so bored too. alot of pple on leave. i have work to do but is so sianz and dont feel like doing it. by the way, this friday Isetan Private Sale, anyone going to stock up on things?

my mum ah, i told her so many times liao... she juz can't bear to see them keep crying... cos tendency is they will throw up when cry... so i always tell her, u do this, next time they won't listen to you!

btw, i dont know if they are having growth spurts again, my girl also has been hungry in the middle of the nite recently. these 2 weeks, she has woken up at least 8 times out of 14 days.... but when i try to feed more at a go, she also doesnt want......
 
Grace, can only join u during lunch for the Isetan private sale (provided my colleague helping me to do the lunch duty!)

Plim, Claire also like to do that stunt on me also.... Grandmothers are like that, if we behaved like that, they can bear to ignore us but their grandchildren... they can't bear to ignore!

Poissons, i also kena that a few weeks ago with Claire but now, she stopped liao... I guess it could be due to teething bah!

I dun think he is hungry leh, like last night, i fed him at 11pm, he woke up 2am..then 3am...then 4am...finally my mum took him over to her room, he cried so hard cos' he wants me and only managed to fall asleep at 6am!! My mum tried to pat him to sleep but he kept sitting up and "talk" to my her. Sigh.

Isetan sale: I want to go!! grace, you going at wat time? i saw a couple of things i want to buy leh.

Poissons: Maybe G is waking up cos he's teething? Try rubbing on some Dentinox and see if he sleeps? Alt, it may be indigestion resulting in wind which is uncomfortable. Just rub some "Lu yi" oil on his tummy. Thats our standard SOP for Ethan when he wakes up and it always works. (unless he's sick of course).

Poissons/Grace: So lucky, get to poof off during lunch hour. My workplace is so far from town so no chance for me. hai...=P

me thinking of getting some earrings, pigeon wipes to stock up.. and a hello kitty bag for her for CNY leh..She will be wearing a kimono set my mum got her in Japan. so i want to buy a little backpack for her. i have got her a red hairband for the kimono and she most prob can wear her red crocs shoes she got for her birthday....

And also i need to buy something for a 1 month old celebration.....

Yesterday, i m so tempted to buy a pair of Birkies for Claire but stopped coz the smallest size is still very big for her!

ZY also pui out her food yesterday, but she got a fierce scolding fr both hubby n me. Immediately the face turns sour n wanna cry, so i quickly change my tone and say dun do that the next time - else PIL will be rushing in to rescue her also. sigh.

I can see her other tooth sprouting, thank goodness she starts to sleep thru in her own cot. Let's hope its not shortlived!

ZY CNY clothing got chinese style that MIL bought, korean style that her aunt get, then a set that i got, but now headache cos no shoes to match!
 
grace: wow, A will have a 'red' look this CNY! do take pics and share when she wears that ok? hehe

i've got lotsa new clothing for the girls, haven't quite sort out if there's anything fit for them to wear this CNY yet leh... must go and 'dig' them out... hehe, cos i very 'kiasu', everytime i order/buy, always buy at least 1 or 2 sizes bigger, so end up many pieces get stocked-up currently...

Actually i was the one who hesitated to bring G for the trip, but decided to give it a try plus I was quite desperate to get out of S'pore. There were alot of stuff to bring, I even brought my mini slow cooker to cook lunch and dinner for him...haha..my frens were laughing at me and wanted to bring their bowls over at night for free dinner! Keke..

not sure if it's teething. we cld spot 2 new teeth coming up from the bottom and another 2 on top..let me try the detonix tonight and see how. we also suspected it's the bubbles that made his stomach bloat, dat's why he feels uncomfy, perhaps i shld stop giving him his dream feed and see how.

ahaaha her kimono hor, is not the girl girl kind. its a kimono top with shorts, so wear with crocs should be ok bah... u know those uncle in japan wear chop fish..haahaaa..should be quite funny =p.

the kimono my mum buy from japan that time. i figure i dont think i will let her wear that everyday unless go party or occasions so might as well just use it as CNY, save my trouble.

Fox baby must see which outlet lah.. which one u went? the PS one more on 2-3 yrs old, no baby.. but yr boy wear 2-3 yrs old one liao right...heeeheehee.

And.. u really bring slow cooker!!! haahaaahaa... no wonder u say u packed half the house there.

keke..the mini slow cooker very small only lah, next time u come my place i show u. i dun want him to eat the food there mah, so saltish and oily. i went to fox bb at bugis, so messy there, i always find loots in the vivo branch. yah, my boy wears the 2yr old one liao..haha...

today like me and u chatting leh..holiday mood dun feel like working!

isetan sale got anything on corningware? wanted to get some 1L, 2L type. She got a few Mary Janes type of shoes, cos outgrow so fast! Still, her clothing very coloourful already, so plus the shoes, lagi more colourful!

any mummies know where and which brand to buy for those insert to the anus for our babies to soften the stool? those inserts PD will prescribe to us kind? Brought her to twice to PD liao and don't want kana 'lecture' by the PD again =p..

i gave papaya to her liao.. and I have instructed to my nanny to give her fruits too.. sometimes she will say the fruit not nice so didnt buy.. for the past 3 days Cailyn only pooed 3 small tiny round poo out niah.. so worried the poo harden inside again..

i regretted not buying at Tangs cos the size is just perfect for me - now Robinsons also hv sale for cardmembers, but its 3 (0.8L, 1.25L & 2.25L) going for $109. With voucher n cardmember disc, abt $100, not sure if Isetan got better deal?

cant advise as never use on babies b4.. that nanny is one of a kind leh.. give apples lor even if papaya or other fruit not nice.

Mambobb, my PT cleaner told me another effective way to prevent constipation. U know those preserved winter melon (coated with lotsa sugar one), u boiled it with water for 10-20 mins... And let Cailyn drink it... but cannot drink everyday coz very cooling...

I let Claire drunk the water (must dilute with more water coz very sweet).... Her poo came out at the end of the day.
 
Plim, got one... At the homeware or cookware section, sometimes will miss it one.. If nt, it will be on another piece of the mailer liao...

mambobb, u may wan to try giving her gerber prunes. It helps if cant take fruits at least u can get this to feed her? or cook barley for her - works for my daughter.

poochi: my girl doesnt like prune juice wor~.. tried on geber prune with apple.. she totally rejects it. Is there any prune juice doesnt mix with other fruits for bb?

I have been reading on the barley here and there is sooo much difference on barley wor~.. china one or non-china kind. which one is better for our baby and how to boil it? need to mix with what?

I used to boil those normal barley for adults but never try on babies. I mixed with dried winter melon to make it sweet and put in some rock sugar too.. is this method ok?
 
mambobb, its the purely prune one not juice. for barley i jus use the normal one for adults. I'll boil the barley and use the barleyH20 for her milk. I never add any sugar.
 
mambobb: There are 2 forms available. One is a suppository( solid bullet shape) and the other is an enema (liquid form). But I would recommend that you only use these as a last resort if there is obvious straining on poo-ing and if there is blood on poo-ing as frequent use my make the muscles there "lazy" and weaken. You could try Glycerin suppositories or microlax (which is an enema).

Papaya is a good start. Maybe you can add brown rice or sweet potato to her porridge to increase her fiber intake? =)

Poissons: Wah! I'm very impressed leh. Bring your slow cooker means you must have brought food to cook too?

Grace: Meant to look for you to ask if you recommend Bintan Club Med? What can our little ones do there?

How come it seems that everyone is a member of Isetan. Must you pay to be a member? Hmmm...

we set off on fri at 6am, reached Genting at 12pm, in between we stopped twice for toilet and meals break..we took the tuas 2nd link, no jam in the morning at all. For the return trip, we left at 12pm, reached S'pore at 6.30pm, only a minor jam at 2nd link which took the most 15mins to clear...so we were lucky.

Oh, my mum prepared the soup stock with ingredients for me and I brought them along with rice grains. I only need to bring some broccoli to add and not forgetting some fresh fruits like kiwis and strawberries plus yogurt as desserts for him. Must feed him well even when we are overseas, come back will be QC checked by 2 grannies!
