hi mummies,
just came back from hanns birthday party at the Gracekids, the gym. very tired but kids had fun. a bit disappointing with them for the late set up, guests already arrived and still no setup despite in advance discussion of what i want.
ecreative was such a disappointment, i nearly have to go downstair and get my son an emergency birthday cake, told them to arrive at 4:30pm and 5:45 pm, the cake is still no where to be seen and party ends 6pm, goodness, delivery guy can still tell me that it stated 4-6pm, that is the event time for the party. Gave me a shock! The activities, songs were good, all the kids had fun despite all these missharps. Phew!!!

Ashlyn has swim class at 12.30 to 1pm.... by the time i pack and go, i think it will be 2pm already... sorry abt this. then i shall see u on our xmas party date...

i am at aloha loyang seaview bungalow 9 - maybe u were there too?
i am also very satisfied with my PG cake, esp the pooh n frenz one, the other cake they forgot to put my precious moment figurine, lucky i hv ample time, ask them muz reach the chalet by 8:30pm. Most of the pic not wif me, but here's one for all of u.
Gotta get some real rest now..

Pay by a term. there is a one time registration fee of $25. location, there are afew. could be turf city, holland V... mine is at holland V.
Around 5 in a class.
Days and timing u got to call and ask. they have weekdays too. its the weekend classes that are waitlisted the most as most of the parents working mah. If u can, i think weekday classes, they may be lots available.

hi mummies - thanks for the wish for Ashton! We had the birthday party yesterday afternoon and it was good fun.... I was happy with PG - Ashton's cake was well done except one of the guests told me that its a bit too sweet. Ashton's birthday is Nov 20 so will celebrate with him again this coming Thu....heeheehee....it's gonna be mummy and son bonding time

I went down to expo yesterday for the MPH book sale. There was a crocs sale going on as well and there was a super long queue just to get in and not to mention on the way out at the cashiers. Don't think Ethan would have survived the long wait so we decided to go home after buying books. Still can't believe what I saw...

Mummies - Do you give your baby eggs and full cream fresh milk (like magnolia) now that they turn one year old? I know they should not take peanuts or peanut butter till they are 2? I am quite eager to give ash soft boiled eggs but afraid that he will have allergy...........

Sharron, i started giving Mischa eggs a month ago. Jus a bit here and there. Then aft her 1st birthday, i gave her whole eggs...so far so good and she loves cakes!
As for peanut, actually i also started to give abit, as in peanuts are present in my food, some pastry also contain peanuts, so should be ok.

Thank you all for the bday wishes for Garreth boy. Our party was on 15 Nov and it went all well.
We had the prince theme, so here's the prince's cake:
can't bear to throw away the figurine..so I brought home and took pics..hehe..

like S@L, i also gave chloe hard boiled egg on her bday but before that, had been giving her the egg yolk for breakfast almost daily.
i mix it into ther porridge on wkdays and for wkends, ususally will mix with butter and spread on her bread.
have not tried peanuts yet.
maybe peanut butter spread? let them have a taste of it first instead of the real thing.

All the cakes so PRETTY! Can't bear to eat leh!! Think Claire's one is very simple!!!
Poissons, Garreth is very fast in pulling the Prince + bear during the cake cutting! Claire enjoyed herself very much at the party coz she was walking ard and screaming in glee... Such "disgraceful" behaviour!!

Yah, I almost got a heart attack when he did that! Can't imagine the cake and cupcakes landed on the floor! Think I will faint on the spot. That is so typical of my boy lor, he's always so rough and "aggresive"...shake head.
Glad Clarie enjoyed herself, I think she's really cute, her screams did attract some attention from my other guests..haha. Not disgraceful lah...it's kids' nature

kitty, actually real peanuts should be ok. Cos peanut butter contains oil and other stuff, maybe can jus give a sip of peanuts soup when u are having it. anyway i give Mischa loads of 'rubbish' now..hahaha she is such a greedy baby!
S@L - Spot on! i should also start giving ashton "rubbish" now so that he will not be picky about food as he grows older..... What about cow's milk ah? OK to give?

Birthday celebration:
Some anger need to vent out..
I had celebrated Cailyn's birthday on the 15th nov on the actual day with all my and DH's friends.. all went well.. but I don't think the cupcakes and mini buffet from eCreative was nice. The food portion was small even though I ordered 20pax.. I still have left over of cupcakes.
Celebrated her 2nd time birthday yest at in-law place. I should be the one to cut and feed my girl her birthday cake, but in the end, my brother's niece wanted to cut the cake, the nanny was carrying all the evening and even fed her the cake. After feeding the cake, she still dont want to return her back to me.. still standing in front of me telling me her stuff.. this nanny is my DH's relative so I cannot show her how unhappy I was. When I was taking picture with my girl, her daughter who was uninvited in for the pic, just sit beside me.. gosh.. The entire cutting cake was soooo annoying..

I should be the one to cut and feed my girl her birthday cake, but in the end, my brother's niece wanted to cut the cake, the nanny was carrying all the evening and even fed her the cake. After feeding the cake, she still dont want to return her back to me.. still standing in front of me telling me her stuff.. this nanny is my DH's relative so I cannot show her how unhappy I was. When I was taking picture with my girl, her daughter who was uninvited in for the pic, just sit beside me.. gosh.. The entire cutting cake was soooo annoying..
