k@ye, oh no wat happened? Hmm does she like to eat fruits & yoghurt? I find fruits help I give 2 serving one for breakfast and one during dinner. Anyway last nite Hazel suddenly developed high fever gave me a scare but after medication it wen down, now she's betta but still monitoring.
michviv - I also wen in the evening on a sat and there was no one. OK cool...lets gather after nov.

I think all babies love swings eh. I managed to find the one at Bishan Park, 2 in fact, and Zee Yann loved it a lot, tried to swing herself up by kicking those legs, so farnie! Too bad, it suddenly poured, so we gotta run for shelter.

Lazykat & Poochi: Thats makes the 3 of us then who got cakes from PG and bought the Pooh & Friends Candles! hahaha. So qiao...I got my candles at United Square as well. =P I got the Pooh bear 1st birthday candle when I was in the States recently.

I got a quote from Pink too but it was out of my budget unfortunately...I'm now resolved to learn how to bake my own cake for Ethan next year and make the fondant decorations. haha. Can imagine my poor family who will have to put up with my trial & error baking. =P

Ueno, hahah thanks...didnt realise that cos we always take for granted 1 mth=4 weeks
michviv,i learnt basic fondant design from a baking mum. But i prefer to use homemade MMF instead of the ready to roll type. cos the taste is better

u definately can make for next yr la. so much time to practice. my mum kept telling me to jus go and buy cakes for occasions, no need to bake , dun save that kind of money.
in fact to me, its not really cheap to bake it myself, but its the satisfaction i get with my creations. Like for my son's bday, i feel so satisfied that i was able to make a proper cake + cuppies for him.
As for Mischa's bday...cos expecting a lot of ppl, no guts to bake the main cake yet. But i'm sure next yr i will be able to design and make my own.

Deco => we can reuse the deco tat were used in our own parties. wan to set a theme? oh must take care not to "destroy" k@ye's house! we can pump some balloons & throw it on the floor?
Games => some babies will be walking or even running while some are still crawling. let's hold 2 categories of competition, ok? weishy's bubble machine will be a sure hit with all babies!

am helping a fren urgently looking for a babysitter at Yishun area, preferably the nanny’s place nearby Blk 400+. Of cos, other yishun area is welcome too.
Prefer English or Mandarin speaking babysitter. Need the babysitter to commence on 1st week of Dec, Mon to Fri only. No overnight, my fren will bring her bb back every evening. Bb will start solid in Dec.

went for my check up yesterday. Baby a bit on the big side. Most probably will be like kiros' birth weight 3.6kg if carry till full term. Think this time i am pretty certain i will c-sect though John Tee told me that 2nd one will dilate faster and ask me to try normal birth instead.
Next Saturday will be kiros' bday party. Guess after his birthday will be time for me to start preparing the arrival of my gal. TIME FLIES!!!!

Weishy, it depends on the individual lah...
My colleague sent her son to a playgroup for 1-2 hours every day when her son is 2 yrs old.
If u considered childcare centre as pre-school, then as young as 18 mths liao....
Sending them to pre school frees up time for the parents (SAHMs) and also allowed them to learn things lor!
Need to go on waiting list if the pre-school is so called GOOD!
My colleague sent her son to a playgroup for 1-2 hours every day when her son is 2 yrs old.
If u considered childcare centre as pre-school, then as young as 18 mths liao....
Sending them to pre school frees up time for the parents (SAHMs) and also allowed them to learn things lor!
Need to go on waiting list if the pre-school is so called GOOD!
