But I'm thinking of buying mamypoko pants to try to use outside cause it's impossible - almost impossible to wear diapers outside when they keep getting up UNCONTROLLABLY!!

And dear mummies, I brought travis to my colleague's bb One month old bday at Mygym on sunday - the woodlands one. Oh my, at first I thought he was all okay playing on his own - before party started.

Then when the actual party started with everyone playing together with instructors and all, HE CRY ley!! don't know why man, is it becuase he antisocial? Aiyo, totally shocked me and hubby. When he calmed down, I tried to bring him to join in but then CRY again!!! don't know if it's the music or what but the other kids seem to enjoy it A LOT! and the other kids most are smaller than him loh. Sighs. Going to try to bring him to more trial lessons hope he gets used to it..

besides the redhill babies, any mommies stay around jurong area sending their babies to childcare? i need to get some feedback coz intend to send my gal to childcare next year... can't tahan the nanny liao...

Cindy, i whacked Claire's butt when she moved while i m trying to put on the diaper for her at home or outside. This gal of mine, wont dare to move much if my Mum or me changed the diaper for her... But if its my hubby... Wow... like a snake~

Looks like a lot of you are using NTUC brand. Maybe I will give it a try. Nowadays everything increase price, even diapers are also increased their price. I got to look for cheaper alternatives.

Regarding Tour:
Headache on where to go too. But phuket is a good choice. Haven't look through the resorts yet too.

I read that baby knows who treats them best and usually they will try to "bully" or "stick" to the person who love them most. That's why I think Claire is like that when you are around.

Yes, its considered separation anxiety. Cos they are more mature already and they start to remember you and probably love you the most as well, naturally she wants to stick to you and don't want anyone else. Heh heh..
 
Starlight, okie... Ya, she will bully her nanny also.. Hehe, i think Claire is afraid of my Mum coz if she misbehaves and my Mum "scolds" her. She will look away for HELP!

NTUC brand diapers not bad one... I just dun like their tape only...

K@ye: Every morning when I send Cailyn to nanny's place, she will automatically lean forward to her for her to carry. Now, she doesn't want and still hold onto me very tightly. When I pass her to the nanny.. she will start to cry lor.. sigh.. This is what I scare most. How to send her to childcare when she turns 18mths

sstarlight, k@ye, when we are ard ash is very spoilt, one moment want me to carry ano moment wants her daddy. My mum says when we are not around, she's very well behave. She can play on her own on the bumper mat . Once my aunty babysit her while working at home and she got all her work done! I also realise that she will guai guai sit in the stroller when my mum, my uncle etc bring her out. Aiyo whenever daddy is ard, she keep wanting to be carried!

sstarlight, personally I dun think NTUC diaper is good. This morn, I nearly tore one side apart cos I use too much strength. I use it cos it was given to me and then my mum went to buy ano pack.
 
kittybride, like i mentioned lor, to each his taste..u must test first mah before adding more oyster sauce. I find it ok le, this stew thing should be very strong taste, not those light kind of dish. and hor the brand of the Oyster sauce makes a great diff!

Hi mummies,
just wana share- Leroy can walk up the stair all by himself! Today in playgrp, he was playing in the playground n there were these steps, he held on to the railings n walked up all by himself! about 4 steps up. actually this boy of mine v garang hehe...

Ueno, that's a milestone. I have not let my bb try to climb steps, hmmmm dun know where I can find one as usually he is at the nanny's place.

Langlao, NTUC diaper is better than Pampers Comfort dry... I tore the Pampers comfort one side apart also!

Langlao, Ash very smart.. She knows u and ur hubby love her so she bully u all. Claire also gives me such problems at time. But, i will "scold" her and stuff... My Sis commented that Claire is actually afraid of me and my mum!

yup, the only prob i hv with the NTUC brand is the tape. sometimes if it accidentally gets a bit wet; then totally wun stick at all. i thk i've thrown away quite a few 'new' diapers coz of the stupid tape malfunction!

Ueno, just realised that Leroy & Claire got one thing in common... Very garung and not afraid to die.. Is this a similar personality trait coz they re born on the same day?

Wow! Leroy can walk up the stairs! Really garung!Jaydyn can leopard crawl very well and fast! hehe! She can crawl up the 16 steps to the 2nd floor. hehe! As for walking, can only do so with support. Attempting to take some steps though. But will land on her cushioned bum bum. hehe!

Ashton also cant walk on his own yet - unless we hold him, he can walk a few steps. Very lasy to crawl....hiaz...

He is very naughty now - refuse to let you change his diaper, refuse to stay in the playpen, will keep on eh eh eh and then cry until you cannot tahan, you have to go over to carry him!!! Latest thing he does is to throw all the toys from his playpen, his bed, onto the floor!! OMG - like testing the market...see what you would do about it.....faintz

there r steps ain the house which he practised everyday but he would need to hold on the the wall for support. but he couldnt really do it unless im holding his hand. but in class there is the railing for him to hold so i think it makes him more confident.

heh..i can't really wait for Eliza to be ready before passing on to anyone, she hardly is! it's been like that since i-dunno-when. so she's usually stuck like glue to me after church, when everyone wants to play with her. she'll frown, push away, or cry when someone offers. it's a little better nowadays, actually, when she's in a good mood, she allows my friends to carry her.

will confirm on the timing of high tea soon...i have stuff before and after that but it's still not confirmed..eep!

I personally think NTUC brand ok only provided yrs is not a gal wearing dress. Cos twice, when my gal only wears dress and no bloomer, piangz, the tape juz came off loose and half her buttock is exposed! (cos she crawls a lot) But if wear shorts/pants, then ok. But i think i will switch to other brands for day wear.

Thanks for the review of the NTUC diaper. Think I maybe use Fitti or petpet ba. My kid somehow allergic to drypers leh.

kittybride, that's what I heard. I guess bb has their preferences. Like my colleagues's bb, play time is daddy and feeding time, they will look for mummies.

ueno, i see. I tot of bring Isaac to climb steps outside my house but heard that before 1 yr old better dun wear shoe for them. Dun know what is the reason but the nanny, aunties all telling me so I just listen.

Does yr bb know how to stand up straight when climning the steps or on all fours. I yet to see bb climbing steps.

skye, I had the same problem last time becos we dun really bring isaac out due to HFFMD and etc, so PD advised only to bring him out after 6 months, so usually we are off the the park. Then one day we decided to bring him to China Town and brought him to coffee shop and did we realise he is afraid with the noise from cars, buses, loud talking pple and etc. Then we realised we shld bring him out often.

So these days he is like our koala, stick to us whenever we go.

Think Church is a good place to explore Eliza as u get to meet the same pple every week. My friend and hub help to look after him in church during the service and slowly he is used to them and some pple.

Give Eliza some time, believe she will be ready soon, as I read the milestone book, 10 to 11 months is the strange aniexty period.

any mummies brought their bb out for swimming? I brought a wet suite and some floats for Isaac. Tot of bringing him for a swim if the weather is good.

i didnt wear shoes for L until he started walking, cos if he needs shoes he needs shoes rite? heehee.. think old folks feel if u wear shoes for babies who cant walk its pantang. cos usually they start walking after 12mths.

THe post office cant help coz their items are not registered mail plus its no fault of mine either. Just that, this particular lady kept on hounding me as if i want to cheat her like that.

On the not wearing shoe before 1 yr old, actually got scientific basis one. Aim is to let our babies' feet grow naturally and let them feel how to walk.

yah i also dun like the tape for NTUC diaper. it might sticky to baby's skin. somemore it's not adjustable, once u remove the tape, cant tape it back already.

yday i let Jovan try Sealer L size. no leakage from 12mn-7am. think it's also quite value for $. i bought from Sheng Siong $13.50 means $0.281/pc. it's the same price per pc compared to Nepia M size when there's NTUC offer. S@L, how much does it cost in Giant?

when Jovan was at the previous infantcare, he walked up (by holding onto the railings) the mini-stairs (3 steps) to a mini-stage all by himself. i saw him going up the "stage" & making a "speech" to all the other babies. he'll call out to them & wave to them to get their attention. v farnie! but i think he also got quite a knocks & bumps from this daily practice.

Jovan is still crawling. he knows how to cruise only. not walking yet. ur baby not slow lah. most babies walk only after 12 months.

aiyoh i got those 'lost parcel' experiences from my spree and i thk sometimes is 'cheat' case lor. they got it but still wan refund. sigh!

anyway, for normal post, still got chance to trace. i managed to trace back a few by calling the return/unclaimed mail office and provide them with the receipient/sender addy. sometimes in luck, even after 2 wks the parcel still with them coz nobody bother to return to sender.

u may wana try it. and also get that lady to call the nearest PO to her and inform them of the same. nid to give clear instruction; like the parcel size/color of wrapping paper/addy for both. etc and when was it posted out and which PO. they can trace... good luck!!

my gal also into walking now; of cos with mummy assiting her ALL the time... she can stand and bang her hands on the coffee table while i sit-guard behind her w/out holding her. but sometimes can see her legs a bit shaky like dat... or she dancing?? hmm.. not sure... hee hee...

but i recently let her wore shoes but only when we go church; so not really many times bah... and yes, heard from old aunties the same thing; only wear shoes when they start to walk.

yup, i bo pian coz have to buy double supply for my end & nanny's. so far there were only a handful of occasions where it leaked; coz we forgot to change her after we got her back from nanny's place.

other than that, no prob... maybe my gal also dun pee so much bah

i agree wif you on the tape; very lousy quality! me & hb oso use those BIG TAPE to tape over it when it got lose or malfunction. there was once i bought 1 pack and inside, i thk almost HALF got taping problem! was so pissed... even wanted to complaint to NTUC about it but my hb said, cheap quality like dat one lah... -.- bo pian...
 
k@ye... as wat kitty said earlier. the post office is able to locate normal mails. when i was doing bulk purchase, there are a couple of missing parcels. all left at the post office nearest to the person's address. all u need to do is write to singpost with full details and normally i get a reply within 2 days and they will advise. Infact ueno's stuff got held up at post office and lucky they found it... phew.

I am stocking up on milk powder first... bought 12 tins already of Nestle Nan. MADE IN SWITZERLAND...wahaahaaa

as for ntuc, the tape damn lousy... we use scotch tape if the tape is spoilt.
and pampers comfort, i tore 2 pcs out of the entire pack. no more pampers comfort.

mummies, do u still use wash cloths when bathing your babies? Jovan's wash cloths quite worn-out. thinking whether i should get some new ones.
