thanks all for asking. J's his normal self despite the virus. Just keeping him home and making sure he doesnt get bored. So, he has doodle, toys, tunnels, music, books, paint, drawing with crayons, tearing and not forgetting the life saving DVD. Ha.. and my mum, myself, maid all in to entertain.
He's eating well, at least normal. Just dun like to have his breakfast now. So, we just let it be.
Maid: Think better to just find a good attitude one. Mine is ok, albeit silly and very kampung.
Preschools: Toilets in schs normally very tough to be v clean cos many chn use them and they do it all by themselves, to let them learn and b independent.
My sch is ok, most impt is the teachers.

Hi, I would like to sign J up, but I've called the centre and told them that I am with u ladies. I will probably go visit the centre and do the 1st lesson as a trial then decide if he's going for the 9 lessons. Thanks ger.

Agree with Gillian, teachers are the most impt! For me, hygenic must be of a certain stds... No need to be too clean but cannot be dirty till i cant tahan...
Weishy, my definition of dirty is like my HK auntie apt in Kowloon..... In Kowloon, very difficult to find those CLEAN & BIG toilets like the Elements!

I can imagine the load of 12kg in my arms, hee. ZY fever has subsided, with cough n phelgm which will take longer time to recover. She resisted taking the medicine so we hv to drop it into her milk feed. Sigh. But at least she is still playful, but appetite dropped a bit

Talking abt carrying our little ones, sometimes i carried Claire till my left arm really like no strength and to that kind of extent, numb feeling!

My dear gal very cute, her nanny also taking care of a 3mth old baby boy... Yesterday, her nanny told me that she can say the word,"Baby" I hear her say that too..... Last nite, dunno y she wants to "teh" me but i told her that i need to go bathing...
Guess what, she stretched her arms to me and said, "Baby"... Meaning she wants to be carried... So i just gotta carry her then she willing to let me take my shower....

As this Saturday (13th) will be the last week for this term, we have decided to do an end of term party, hence we will not be doing the regular routine for the class. You can still come in for the trial if you wish to. Otherwise you can still do the trial first Saturday next term (10th Jan '09). Do let us know

must be so buay tahan wana carry her when she stretch out her hand like dat, rite? hee hee...
my gal also; lately very sticky to me esp before bedtime and upon waking up. kept wanting to be carried and when we put down onto the floor, will start to fake cry as if we torture her like dat, then no choice have to carry.
can u imagine, i even have to carry her to bathroom to brush my teeth!! hb oso can't stand both of us! ahahhaa...

so you will do the trial before deciding to sign up, then?
for me, the location is not too far, and seems like there are more activities than the other confined classes (gymboree, mygym, tumbletots) so is a good start for C to be exposed to all at one go. hopefully with the few sessions, she will learn to be more open and less anti-social.

me ks lah, i am signing up before the trial to enjoy the discount and free trial. heard that next year maybe trial class they will charge already.... of cos, i never sign blindly lah, i had a talk with Cindy last nite on the activities and i also asked my colleague who thinks its really not bad....
another point i dont mind is that its close to JG system and also JG dont have classes for her age group for weekends.

you asked your colleague = my hubby ah? haha..he everything also not bad one lah. i'm impressed with the class cos' they still buffered time for snacks and waterplay, unlike gymboree, just sing and dance. Hopefully in Jan, G can walk liao, then not so shiong for me if Hubby is not free to come along.

Claire is so smart! and so cute also. aiyor i sure carry/hug/kiss if Jovan do that to me. hehehe. these few days, my HB also keep telling me tat Jovan seemed to have grown up alot suddenly. asked him wat J did but he just cant pin-point. haha
Playing Alone:
Jovan can do that v well when me & my HB are not ard. infact, at the center, the teachers keep telling me tat he's the most well-behaved baby coz he can play on his own for the whole day. he only make noise when he super tired or hungry. but when me or my HB ard, different story. he wans us to play with him or watch him play.
Playdays:
i got email from them on 24Nov which says Jovan can go for free trial next year. Jovan is still on the waiting list for a free trial. Told my HB about the cost, he not keen leh. hmm.. he's not paying anyway mah. but he gotta be the chauffeur lah.
last sat evening, i need to get off the car to run some errands. then when i came back, HB was loitering outside the car & he said Jovan was sleeping in the car. i wanted to go back to the car to accompany J but HB refused to let me. we waited for his fren some distance away from the car. a good 15min went by before we went back to the car. by then, Jovan was already crying buckets. he cried till those no sound kind & he was shaking & his voice went sore! wah i felt so sad then! had to calm him for quite awhile before he finally stopped crying! poor Jovan. he must have tot tat Daddy & Mummy abandoned him for good! throughout the journey home, he held onto my fingers so tightly until it hurt. but i din mind at all cos i felt so guilty. when i reached home, i was so angry with my HB too.

Hi mummies - just finished reading all the threads! Got back from HK last Mon and went to KL on Wed cos my grandfather passed away. Came back last Sat and Ashton had fever till yesterday! So many things at one time!!!

Like Cindy mentioned in her earlier post, its really unfortunate but PDS told us that they cannot reserve slots unless payment is made. All this will be on a first come first serve basis. When I attended the trial class in November, there were 8 toddlers in the class so I was a little worried that they can't accomodate all of us. But we're so lucky that most are moving on to the next level so they can squeeze us in. Only 10 toddlers per class you see. hehe

Measles, high fever/fever and the rashes will come out immediately and itchy one... The rashes all over the body one. Like chickenpox, takes at least 2 weeks to recover.

YAY! the unfortunate thing is, if u go for first class then decide next yr, won't be entitled to the discount, so you will have to pay a full course of 8 lessons, cause the first lesson is trial ma. Slot wise, don't think can reserve, you be the same case as poochi, want to go trial then decide.
