Re: walking
Now that my son is learning to walk. He likes to be hold and walk. Sometimes he will let go and just let you hold one of his hands and walk though he is still not stable. End up, one of the leg got a few blue black. but he won't walk unassisted and when holding him must follow where he want to go. So tiring…. Can't imagine if I am pregnant now....

this hobby started when i couldnt find nice clips for Mischa - only those common ones sold in KP etc. once i organised an overseas spree, bought those nice clips from USA. then tried making some myself...realised that its so fun to make....then bought so much ribbons that hubby ask me might as well sell them....then there is no turning back liao..hehehehe

my gal is doing that... hence i'm having a hard time trying to hold her to places she wants to venture! and sometimes not only walking, she wana walk super fast!! imagine me bending my body to accomodate her ht and with my tummy oredi looking like 5m pregnant, very xiong!
2nite my hb go his co AD&D, i will hv to do the 'walking' wif her till her bedtime! argh... cross my fingers she WILL get tired out by 830pm! (hiak hiak hiak....)

As for gagging, wonder when will they stop gagging. I heard it's due to soft refexes and it will outgrown. If this continues over 1 yr plus, need to go for speech therapy, I nearly fainted...

kittybride: which are are u staying not sure do like me to ask my nanny whether she has anyone to recommend. Better interview the nanny properly. Some nannies really loves kids but others just go for money. Try not to have engage those nanny with young kids, if not, it will have conflict of interest. It's my opinion lah..

I was like you the other time, I didn' really like my 1st nanny. And when I went back to work, I was kind of worry and couldn't concentrate on my work. Luckily I found someone nice later. Remember to bring your bb to the nanny to ensure that they like her.

catherine: I ordered from chilli padi and my bb's party will have about 80 pple - relatives and some of my closer friends. And I heard chill padi portion is small, so I ordered for 80 pple. Remember to buy some containers just in case, they are left overs and pple can bring home if there are too many food.

Rachel, i was on leave for 1.5 weeks. Then i come back, i asked her what things to be done... Just now got problem and asked me to go & check and resolved it...

I was like, i had done the things b4 i go on leave... Y must everything leave till last min and ask me to change or check... So fed up! Monday not a good day coz is the start of the month end closing!

Catherine, i also none the better... Sometimes, my hubby also bullied me even though i could be quite fierce..But i know my hubby is stingy... So if i ask him to pay, he sure do what i ask him to do one!

abt my nanny; long story lah... but she just dun wana cook so end up we do it. for sure my no. 2 will NOT be taken care by her liao.

i wanted to change back then but most nanny around my area taken or not suitable. n my gal ok wif her. so one month after another, end up hard to change coz my gal super picky abt ppl... she only let me, hb, nanny and occasionally my MIL carry her. even my FIL wana carry her she will wail...

Kittybride: my son also walk super fast and refuse to hold both hands. Can only hold one of his hands and must follow him. Sometimes I tried to carry him to other place, he will struggle, throw tantrum and cry. I gave up…after this one week of taking care of him at home, I have made up my mind not to be SAHM. I prefer to work though time spending with him can be quite funny and he can drive me crazy too.
You gal will sure get tired after walking so much.

catherine, omg I hope ash won start digging her nose. U know i realise she sleep super little compared to at home so by 7plus, she is super cranky. When my aunty went to pick her up today, she was crying and all the teachers ignored her. Then the teacher told my aunty that she is slightly feverish, wa piang shd hv told us earlier so we go fetch her ma.

thank you mums for sharing yr experiences with baby sleeping...she's a lil better today although i had to catch the right moment to get her to sleep, and once rock her like mad. (ok a bit kua zhang but..yeah..) it's more challenging now hor...with our lil ones being more vocal & insistent of getting what they want...and stay awake to play! someone said that it's like u're on a holiday..everything's so new & exciting u dun wanna sleep, like our babies.

yeap i ordered this no.3 cake with the sea creatures. u don't really see the variety of design online but then can do different numbers with whichever theme..that is, if it's available. i added $6 to change it to chocolate mousse, hb dun like blackforest..ha. the cake's quite good, not too dry or too sweet...juz a lot of creamy part for the design. i think choc flavours won't go wrong

same sentiments too...peace when they're sleeping...hilarious too, sometimes, they way i see my girl zzz all over her playpen. like dreaming she's in a gongfu movie.

re: birthday party
i'm only just starting to plan for Eliza's birthday party. hers will be the last amg the nov babies on 30th nov. will have it at home so i think can't get too many ppl. we almost don't have one coz hb doesn't like the hassle of parties, say it's like ppl are obligated to go. anyway managed to coax him out of it...hiak hiak..after all in-laws also 'on' abt party.

Hi ladies, regarding the 'day out' plan, i cant do it for next week, cos Javier's birthday is next Sun.
So, I'm quite busy.

Another idea for ur lil' ones if u dun mind mess, cooked spagetti. Cook some spagetti and let ur child sit in it when its luke warm. They will observe the change from slippery to sticky. Then add in some washable and non-toxic paint for them to explore. Do this on a warm day so u only need to dress them in diapers. Colour mixing with pri colours can also help them in the fun.

re: poo
read that many bbs hving problems with poo... is it milk powder ah? or cld also b tat since they started solids, there is a tendency with hard stool...
for Bevis, weird thing is, she will poo in the middle of the night! and this always happens when she's back home over the wkend! haiz, end up hv to clean her up in the middle of the night and scared that she will wake up!
She will poo 0-3 times a day... but rarely 0 times la... dunno if bcos i'm giving her daily dose of apple puree? (yes, still doing puree for her cos she has the tendency to gag on coarsier food... and she still loves her apple puree )

hi mummies - just a quick check - do you add cereal into the milk at your baby's last feeding so that they will not wake up in the middle of the night for another feed? What kind of cereal - nestum? I am thinking of trying this method to see if ash can sleep through after his last feed at about 10.30pm......

Langlao / Weishy - I will book the trial class at Grace Kids and let you know the timing again...just got back from tokyo and still trying to clear my stuff and running errands. Also got to organise ash's birthhday party on the 15th....

sharron, for my son i gave him nestle Brown rice. cos the honey cereals are too sweet and caused phlegm.

but the thing is it does nt help in him sleeping thru the night. he continued to wake up in the middle of the night for milk feeds till 2yr old

gers, i'm so upset now. My hubby left for China for work and I brought baby to Kindermusik on my own. Everything was fine till I put him in the car seat (back home). I realised he dropped his bolster and cos he's sleepy, he needs it.
He cant sleep without his bolster.
he cried the entire journey back home.
I'm so heartbroken.

Feel like crying myself.

i was told the figurine can last quite long if in the aircon room, so that's what i'm doing... my boy played with it once, but it got sticky, so i dried it and kept it away lor... my hubby scold me, said wait for it to get mouldy ah?!

oh i saw her cakes very very pretty, so i just thick skin ask her lor. she could fit me in, thankfully. actually i was a bit taken aback by her prices also... if my hubby knows he sure kill me. but then it's for such a special day, so ok lor... i think i enjoyed the cake way more than my boy did... got cheaper alternatives ah? share share the contacts leh...

i got the cake from glad. she seems to be quite full. can see her blog at www.gladcake.blogspot.com I got my buffet from YLS catering, good food and cheap at $10/pax... Got lots of leftovers coz I ordered 35, but dunno how many turned up, coz not i invite one.

After discussing with hubby, decided to go with PG after all since we're expecting quite a lot of people and I've bought the cake decoration already. Thanks for your help anyhow. I will consider pink for next year but hopefully I'll be able to bake my own cake and cupcakes by then. =P

Sharron: I don't put cereal into Ethan's last feed. Just give him 300mls and he sleeps throught the night.

I am reporting in from bintan club med... its very baby friendly except they made a mistake when we first check in. gave me someone else's room key. we climb up and down, went to the room, then open and find so many belongings..faint. they quickly give me the correct key and hush me away... other than that its all cool. there is a baby cot, steriliser, bottle warmer, baby powder, baby oil, and a small bath tub when i arrive in the room....and the buffet spread is huge....i am going to get so fat man...

S@L, K@ye, Gelyn and michviv - thanks for sharing the cereal experience with me - ash is only drinking about 7 or 8oz of milk at the last feeding - sometimes he cannot even finish it... So we will try out the cereal or increase his intake tomorrow.....
