mich, ILs... sigh, damn angry w them. we had been married for quite some time & hv not given them e 1st nei shun, so FIL said to us during CNY visits to quickly hv 1 while they still can help take care, then when hv liao, tells us can't cos need to teach tai chi. so to me, his tai chi is more impt than his 1st nei shun, which i'm surprised cos he's e traditional type, wan us to chuan zong jie dai. then MIL 1st says no, then says yes, then says maybe, finally says no. during ML, they oni came twice, once during bb's full mth celeb & e other 1 is visiting. jake aredi 9mths+, thru out e rest of e 6mths, they never come too. when we invited them over for dinner during tis cny, at 1st, they rejected, so i tell hb, if they dun come, dun blame me if i dun invite them for future gatherings. sometimes, i feel tha my parents r more like jake's paternal grandparents as my mum c jake 1-2 times a wk whereas my ILs hardly c jake. during cny when we were at e uncle's plc, jake actually prefers my SIL's maid than them as my SIL family has been taking care of him for e past mths, i actually feel happy cos jake is not close to ILs. come to tink of all these, i a bit scared to hv #2 cos when i was v.down during ML, to e extent tha i almost committed suicide, there was not much support fr ILs tho they live quite near, my mum cld oni come on weekend as he needs to look aft my nephew & she lives farther away than ILs.

Just make sure if #2 comes along , u have enough support from pple ao be around u ... just ignored ILs if they choose not to be close to their grandchild .. cos after a few years , they will realised that the grandchild is not close to them ...I mean the choice is theirs .. as long as Jake grows up healthly and with his loving parenst or siblings around ,, everyhting should be fine ..
