elaine, recently addicted to playing games so played till quite late n somemore hubby on leave so he can sleep wif baby at nite so got sometime for myself...i agree lor...sometimes after scolding my hb, he will take initiative n after a while back to square one again...guess men are like tat...

divamama, ya...kam pa teh! i also try not to let amadeus watch tv but sometimes very difficult lor as need to divert his attention while i do some chores...

Lin/J&M/SNG, maybe we can work something out re the Gymboree trial...caitlyn is also asking the person I/C whether can accomodate 5 persons...wait for her reply first lor...if cannot, then the 5 mummies, c who can go at a later date...think there is still some available slots...even if we don have intention to sign up for the class, at least we can go there to try out first mah to c what it is like...
 
peck, mich, ya, can go mad rite facing them whole day? i tried taking care of my gal for 2 weeks when i am clearing maternity leave.. waa... my temper rise every evening. will vent it on hubby when he came home.. ahaha.. not healthy le.

ros, gona have hard time now that he can flip. hahaha.. anywhere, anytime, he will flip - sleep, drink milk, bathe, change etc. even while carrying over the shoulder, my gal will flip on my body.

ros, you play games till 3 am plus! wow!...my eyes start to get heavy when 7 pm plus and see my son sleep, i also cannot take it. yesterday, fell asleep when feeding him, haha! really. lucky, i din drop him as he lie on my lap.

sy, and mich, ya, i am quite anal about the way i want my kid to be brought up. that's why decide to quit too, trust no one except myself, if i can , i 24 hours dun sleep! hahahaha. but sometimes really run out of energy. i actually drank coffee then pump my milk out to throw. that bad....

Caitlyn...poor us..haha, i am resigned to it, his hands will flail and i have to press them down, and if he turns , i have to turn him back ,pacifier drop , i pop it in. cause i let left him alone before and he WOKE UP and cry! then i have to start all over again---cant bear to let him cry out. so patting and turning every hour. crying at 5. 30 am today, then feed him every 3 hour too.oh ya, and he wakes up fromitchy skin i think cause keep stratching his face. i called mrs wong lei, she said can bring dylan in, but i am thinking of not doing so anymore cause i think it is just the way he is.
 
elaine how abt swaddling baby then he won't scratch his face at night? maybe can ask PD or GP to prescribe some cream to apply?

sharon - agreed.. actually i also worry isaiah dun enjoy.. coz trial is only a one off.. but hb feels he sld enjoy if he's not sleepy (which is so difficult to predict n prevent in his case!)

redrain, i mean feed yr bb direct from a cup (tts what I did with Gabriel when he was a newborn (when he was still in the hospital, and I brought my EBM for him to drink).

No need to be cup that has handles. Just sit baby upright and then feed from a sterlised clean cup (then they dun have to suckle the teat) and rem to burp baby after tt.
