Hi mums, I came back from my gynae appt. Mickey stick his tongue out and is munching away! He's now 1.1kg. My placenta is still low-lying and we've made an appt with another hynae at NUH to gain an entry for pre-admission.

that's y i dun wanna read those milestones articles, very stress leh, if my boy still not at that milestone. My boy also dun know how to talk yet...if he wanna eats, he will "ah or mumm mumm".. hahaha.... actually i know he understands what we say eg. when i ask him, where's your pacifier?" he will actually look for it and put it back in his mouth or bring it to me.... So dun give yourself too much pressure lah.. hahaha...

she will let others carry her if i'm not around.
if i am around, she will not want anybody to carry her, not even her daddy.
some "good" days when i'm around, the aunties downstairs will say "bao4 bao4". then they will come towards her, and she will let them carry. think it's reflex action? then the moment they have her in her arms, she will turn to me again and say "bao4 bao4"

so i also dunno how to answer your question with just a yes or not. that's the details

Yesterday hubby brought EJ to cut his hair. He just sat there guai guai and let the stylist cut! Too bad I wasn't there to witness it.. hiaz.. Hb said he didn't fuss at all, only towards the end, cos his short hairs fell on the face, so it was quite itchy on his face then he tried to scratch/touch his face..

reward them after the hair cut... either u buy the sweets or u ask the auntie/uncle to give if their shop have it... u must ask the auntie/uncle to give the sweet... so they noe after haircut there is a reward... eh... the auntie downstair use this method la... cos bel really cry badly... and she see mi with such big stomach, veri difficult to carry her when she had her hair cut... *i need to carry her for her whole hair cut session...she don wan to sit on the chair...

erm, the previous time when EJ had his haircut, hb had to carry him.. he is realtively fuss-free but he will still turn his head here and there.. Yesterday, the stylist put a board across the arm of the chair, and he sat there by himself! Hb said he just stood next to EJ. So that's why we were impressed. He sat there and let stylist put the poncho over his body and then cut hair.

I wasn't there yest so I couldn't take photos la..

i think EJ had a very good experience the very first time he cut his hair. The stylist is very experienced with small kids and could play with him and catch his attention.. so maybe that helps? U bring a toy along to distract him.
