Pink, Nana: Her performance: Not as good as the old maid on average, but I do see some improvement. She's quite a day-dreamer cos I feel sometimes her heart is not at work.
1) Her time management is bad - she's still not started on proper cooking yet. Last night she spent more than half an hour to iron 2 pieces of bedsheet.
2) Her awareness of child safety is low - for eg: she can leave a pail of water to soak anna's soiled clothes in the kitchen!
3) On self-cleanliness, not as clean as the old maid. After she fried some fried rice (which turned out very soggy cos I think the rice had too much water), she didn't hesitate to carry anna without taking a shower or changing.
4) She's quite forgetful. Actually this is her nature I think. Cos she can forget instructions and I have to repeat a few times before she can get it. Sometimes, she can even insist that it was not so.
5) Her attitude: I feel she doesn't know her place as a maid. When she alight from the car, she will take the baby bag and whatever from the boot, and walk ahead of us to the lift lobby, leaving my hubby to carry anna out of the car seat. My old maid does all the above on her own.
When she opens the door, she will block the way by taking off her shoes at normal pace, instead of showing the act of taking them off quickly so as to let others in. Another example. When sitting in the car and giving anna milk, she can look in front, instead of watching anna drink the milk.
Her good points:
1) She can play with Anna better than the old maid. She engages with anna on a more intellectual level.
