she stays at home with the maid and kid. Sometimes she will go gym wif her neighbors. After she notice some bruises on her son's legs....then she got suspicious. She stopped going to the gym after she realised it. But then...her son was crying sometimes when she was in the toilet...DIn manage to get the whole details...coz she called to tell me that she's preggy wif the 2nd one. ..and she's changing a new maid. Kinda scary hor....i still can vividly remember the CCTv footage that they showed on news...how the maid shake and throw the kid on the sofa.....haizzzz.....

but i tink you very good with your maid. Next time nid tips can ask you?

SQ-I think quite true what ur HB say, my HB aunt thrown a hotel buffet for her bday for 70-80 pple, ordered 2kg cake but hor the cake can't finish ler coz most are full from the buffet liao!

i tink hor...becoz they cannot take it out on the employers...they lash it out on the kids. Her miad quite young..and actually look quite innocent also. My fren is a SAHM....i'm working...so even few mins the maid can do that..i cannot imagine..i whole day away....
my mum also very resistant to me getting a maid. She says if i get maid...dun bring maid to her house. Coz she got no time to look after maid. If i really wan...get it..and put the kids to my in-laws. (Threatening liao..but if i do it..get maid and put at in-laws..she will scold me for taking her grand dotter away)

SQ: She loves to play on our bed. She's used to sitting there while I change in my room. I think it could also be due to hger fall from my bed that one time.

totally no mood la... menses nv come, i m not preg... but den, cos last yr preg, i missed the menses on last yr's cny, so this yr have to return back... hate it... i m quite pantang on this... heard from my fren's mom: if auntie come visit u on a cny day 1, u will have it for the next 3 yrs of cny... haiz... i feel like dying... stomach bloated... and that auntie still don wan to come...

have been eating chin chao, sugarcane water, coconut water everyday... still don come, today i ate lots of pineapple tarts too... if tml still don come, i going to buy a real pineapple to munch at home liao...

Edde: Yes, the pre-school will be more ex than kindergarten cos it's private mah. So when they go P1, we will feel they are very cheap to maintain.

i ever check out eton school house...they dun run it like childcare. EVen childcare got certain days that they are officially closed but only for like 7-10 days. for eton...i tink they have semestral breaks. Meaning...can be like june/dec holiday...whole month no school. March/oct()?..one week no school. etc....but during the breaks...still have to pay like 50-75% of the fees.

(besides cost and distance, which are my biggest concerns) i like it coz they place emphasis on both eng and chinese, esp std english. coz daddy &amp; mummy cant speak std english haha.. i cant stand pre sch / pri sch / eng teachers who cant speak proper english.. sorry my zhi2 ye4 bing4..

Santorini houses are in white and blue very nice, we regret did not extend our trip to the island.

No lah, is my ex-co company trip. If not I will never choose to go Greece once.
My honeymoon we done a DIY trip to Bangkok and Australia very happening heehee we flow to Bangkok for five days and come back to Singapore rest for 1day then fly to gold coast then Sydney then we drove to Canberra. It was memorable one cos we went with my first baby.

i also very paranoid abt laundry....coz i dun like to share washing machine wif outsiders...coz you will never know how clean they are. Is your parttimer good? WIll she do sengkang area?

Her confinement lady also stayd wif her for 3 months..coz she say cannot cope...on her own wif maid!!!! She din even step out of the house for 3 months...if wifout maid..confinement lady..and hubby!!!!!!!

well....the cost and timing is the main issue..coz we were looking for childcare. The breaks in between were too long. Coz when they have long long break..still got to pay the whole month fees....very boh hua. Ended up i put son in this cc....not bad...coz the teachers are quite well spoken. I also cannot tahan teachers who speak one piece one piece wan. Slightly more ex than private cc...abt 780 after subsidy....but its full time cc. But recently..tink bcoz one of the very smart teacher become the principal...the rest not song...then quite a lot of old teachers left. Now the new ones...not too bad. Just buey song wif this old teacher there...very sarcastic. Dan now son can talk..he also tell me the teachers will beat his backside when he is naughty..and beat his frenz also. I hear already..a bit no song liao. That why contemplating to put in maris stella kindergarten. But mummy dun wan maid...coz the kindergarten is 3 hours only. Dan mei mei still not walking yet. So now..have to lun lor.

i recommend Dr Chua near my place..not PD but not bad. i like his nurse even more, her name is Pat..very nice..she can remember our names and always give us very good advice...she has 3 kids..

Agreed with BBgal that maid is a "heng,suay" thing. My colleague got her 1st maid around the same time as me. She had insisted on going to reputable agencies &amp; let them train the maids before sending over to her place &amp; things still didn't turn out well. I just popped by one of the agency nearby &amp; selected my maid on the spot &amp; she turns out fine. My colleague had already changed 3 agencies &amp; 4 maids &amp; spent don't know how many thousands liao. Now she has to go for courses before she can get her next maid.

edde, my lecturers went to eton house as consultants liao. So shall I open another one then charge u cheaper? but i chinese speaking one woh.

not sure how good it is, but the lady boss is very pro in child education bah, and employed many angmoh as her school's consultants/teachers.
