hahaha...ya i look squashed in the 1st photo, no choice cos the rest either my mum not smiling or my hubby's eyes half open, so i sacrifice, took this one back...

Alamak! Came back from berders, read QQ's post on contented toddlers and realised I forgot to look for my own books while we were there.. Bot more EC books.. Does this mean I have to go back again?? Think one more time and my hubby sure make noise liao..

anyway.. me lurking inthe mac.. for more thanhalf an hour.. but never saw sal and anna came down (Which means u will come along).. u all 'dis-Apparated'? bbgirl: btw.. ya. the book i have now.. is The New Contented Little Baby Book.. called "New" beacuse she revised this book after the advice in the change of the onset of weaning ..used to be at 4 mths.. then delayed to 6 mths.. so in this book she also got included tips on how to manage the bbs' hunger if they are drinking a lot of milk.. but can't seems to stasify hunger to last thru the night.. and end up waking in the middle of the night.. but yet not 6 mths to wean yet.. so i think that's the diff..

Astro: Went to the Wheellock one. The place is messy and becos of that, there are still board books around! Think if they had kept them neatly at one place, would have been gone! I also got some big paperback, cos some books are for older kids like 4-8 yrs? I intend to show them to Anna in 1 yr's time and therefore by then, she won't tear up the books anymore.. I have 20 EC titles in total now (from naught)
I drove there lah.. So we didn't even get down to Macs at all.. I wish we could disapparate. Would have been so easy going anyway with a baby..

QQ: I haven't got the whole collection yet. ANd yes, EC stories keeps the reader going on. The impressive thing is the subject (in the book)repeats the thing it is doing, yet each time the object is different. Moreover, the storyline is educational. For eg, in Mister Seahorse, it teaches that there are sea creatures which eggs are cared for by the males (fathers) instead of the females (mothers) or just left alone. Mr seahorse drifts gently through the sea and comes across each creature.
It's the same with the hungry caterpillar. The story is abt a little hungry caterpillar and the food he ate throughout one week, each day eating more than the previous day. Then in the end, the caterpillar became a butterfly! Educational again.. I'm very pleased and full of praise with his works..

can try to see if it id due to hunger.. if it is hunger.. then the bb will
- fuss and cry.. and no amount of water or patting, or changing diapers will stop the crying..
- then will wail wail aa bit.. then escalate into the very hungry..'i want food now' cry. and refused to go back to sleep.. but once u feed them milk. they will drink more than 60 ml.. and then fast fast go back to sleep liao...
if everything else.. (sleep associations, thirsty, soiled/wet diaper).. very fast will go back to sleep liao...

it is stated that. the bbs's balance is improving if they are using one hand to rely on furniture for support.. wah. to think i was puzzled and confused to get teng to hold on to the furniture with both hands.. coz he looks like wnat ot fall. but dun want ot hold on with both hands.. so is testing and dveloping balance.. so that also explains why nowadays he wants to hold onto one of my hands only.. with one of his hands... and walk.. ..hmmm.. ok.. so dun need to get paranoid ofver this.. hee

actually i feel tat the new generation is overly pampered, serious..i know it..from my office's young staff, i can tell...
an experience in the kampung life will make them wakeup and appreciate wat they have now...
even our kids, next time i also dun know wat they will become...

he said today brought leia back, time like passes very fast, 1 day gone just like tat, everytime she's back, i have to bring her out. time like very stretched after having bb..i angry.

her hair veri hard now... not those soft soft u touch when she just born liao... now got tangle one lei... lol... i think i need to buy conditioner for her... if not cannot make it... it is hard, tts y not standing... lol...

u are lucky, my hp cam is veri small... cannot capture ur face... i did not do any cutting of photo... wahahaha btw, bel abit heywire liao la... jia lat... i need to confine myself at home to readjust her timing again... but i think she colic... tts y keep waking in the middle of the nite... cos i gently hit her stomach, wah... machiam drum! she still can laugh when she hear the sound..... faint!

in Singapore, she dun wake up everynight. mostly we suspect teething. she can still sleep through.
sometimes, its wet diapers (but this one solved liao, cause she dun ka ka cau cau if she wants to pee now)
sometimes, its teething (can tell one, from her cry)
sometimes not comfy..

here back in KL.. aiyo.. everynight wakes up twice or more than that. jialat. cried then pointing at ceiling and said BIRD. she has been like that in the past few days.
maybe sleep association again. i dun pat her to sleep at night, still like that i also dunno why.

today my 1st try adding brown rice into white rice & he loves it! so happy to see him finish up all the porridge i cook. a satisfied mama!

*Pink - i went for the same shoot some months back! i recognise that dirty, beige chair! yikes! for us, it was not enjoyable. first the styling guy was too exaggerated (YY usu. smiles in the camera - cos mama here has been training him since young mah. but there, he was so scared of the guy he cried and cried.)
we also insisted we only want to do the 'casual' shot and didnt want the 'glamour' shot, but they said cannot. luckily, YY fell asleep halfway, and we said we have to end the session and get home.
then they tried to super-hard-sell their 3k package lor. until hubby and i quite pissed. luckily you didnt pay. Hubby ask them, what is the $$ back to customers if you close down before the end of my lifetime? They were dumbfounded.!

my dad also dun give us lots of times last time cause he business man. no choice, he was the sole bread winner.
my hb also mentioned this to me last time, cause he would like to cut down some time spent with tian. i was not very happy also. but then after some thought. my hb was right la, cause he wanna chuang3 when he is young, so have to give up a little WHEN NEEDED. but then, it depends on how he balances it. i think not 100% dun give time to our bb, its a matter of some quality time. need more communication leh. if you are not happy and worried, then how ? especially if you are planning for No. 2. got to see open a bit..

i think around the same height... but bel's leg always not straighten... so veri difficult to see... she onli noe how to crawl... cannot cruise veri well too... jia lat la... just now she crawling in the living room... keep going in circles... make mi wan to faint... don noe wad she doing... den i remember the dog i had last time... go round and round den slp... wahaha...

yalor. i know that anna was much better with dentinox. the few days that tian can sleep through is usually after fussing due to teething for a few days. i just confirmed this before i came back to KL. Dentinox ah? ok, if this is going on when i go back singapore, may try.

40-min - still about there
1 hour - slightly more, but not yet 3/4
so can I conclude that i dun need to feed after 30 min? its really annoying and terrible after 30 min.
