oh speaking of lactose intolerant, i cooked pasta in fernleaf full cream milk on sat. then i added a cube of kiri cheese into the pasta. anthea vomitted aft 2 mouthfuls. same reaction for yogurt. confirm she hates dairy products. no wonder she doesnt like milk. *faint*

i think its good for kids to try kampung life, i stayed in kampung for a while during my childhood. its meomorable...climbing up trees, tearing leaves, use newspaper to wrap up the sand, add the leaves, wrap them up..machiam like nasi lemak..dame fun..fresh air..good for bb.

and can stay in big house, soo spacious

i haven't brought YE swimming for some time liao. feel so sorry for her cos it's her #1 favourite activity. hope she still likes water after this long break. looking forward to hot season again so i can bring her to swim!

Time really flies! Remember we were talking abt BYSI clothes and how to buy vouchers to make up $200 to sign up for members? It s been 6 mths! I just went shopping there to use up the remaining vouchers. End up I bot more than my voucher value and topped up.. Tom is the expiry date! It only seems not that long ago.
 
SQ, did u see a dragon fruit (red colour) in one of the photos of tian and my cousin??
here they eat it almost everyday like no need $$. organic somemore. too bad its citrus, tian cannot eat. i eat until fat fat.

my ahyi(mum's sis) also killed her chicken and pass to my mum for her to cook for me to BU3. i feel so full everyday. no time to eat biscuits liao. then they also give me those eggs laid by their hens. super bu3 for tian. so these two days tian had been taking egg yolks. haha!

tian was digging the holes on the floor.. it has been so many years that my home was not under any renovation. these holes are just getting bigger and hbigger.. very unhygenic to play with, but its interesting for her.

i guess sorta lor..cos i tried to give her her 'old' milk 2 days later she diarr. again le..i dare not try oredi..play safe give her isomil lor..then the dumex LF FM PD gave i cant find in NTUC anymore le..so frustrating cos this one is good can dissolve very well. (isomil not ez to dissovle very lumpy) but only avail in small tins i manage to get 2 tins after PD visit but 1 wk later i cant find in all the NTUC i went

SQ: i think if YE dun like book maybe u dun have to buy so many for now.. but i feel when it comes to reading, we have to nuture. Maybe u buy the books and read to her and instead of giving it to her to play,explore herself. Sorry for jumping to assumption here that u let YE play/explore the books herself cos u say YE not interested in the books and i dun really understand what u mean by this.
Maybe you can read the books with her and do the activities together and and dun forget to be more animated and include hand actions etc when u read the stories, they like it. (esp with out high pitch voices)

As for toys, IMHO - i think by now, we should all know our babies' likes and dislikes, so if they like musical stuff, can invest and buy more musical toys for them. If their attention span is short and they are not interested to play with activity tables i think can save the $ and not get it (cos these activity tables can be quite costly). But if they are like teng, anthea who likes to fiddle with little catch, knobs etc, def can get lah.

you eat the fresh produce there.
the biscuits and dry stuff can keep, you dabao home.
then one year no need to do marketing in singapore liao. haha.....

can ask you dad to grow avocado, blueberries, cranberries, papaya, banana, apple etc. all those that tian can eat. haha
 
Belle: maybe she can take in small qty only and not large and regularly like her milk feed??
In this case better leh, cos this mean u can intro cheese to her and she won't LS.

i qing3 jiao4 pax, babygirl and astro on cheese. they rec this laughing cow party cheese cubes, kiri cheese cubes, cottage cheese.. still got one french name one (also under laughing cow brand) which i always forget.. many mummies here gave cheese liao...

oh.. on sat i was eating bo luo bao and my mum asked me to feed her the butter. she likes! haha...

thks for the book tip.
i tried letting her explore and reading it for her. she doesn't like my reading, kept moving around and trying to flip the page before i can finish my sentence.
but she likes to touch and feel her ABC book.

she also doesn't like toys. prefer to open my mum's drawers and crawl around the whole house.
 
oh blur, just read that chloe might be lactose intolerent... then u must be careful when introducing cheese wor... do it slowly see how chloe reacts to it..

star, i share yr opinion on toys... dats why i know for sure gymboree is out for anthea... she is just not the active type.... hubby wanted to buy a slide cum swing set for anthea (those little tykes type).. i said he siao. firstly, anthea wont enjoy this type of toys, secondly, put in the living room we no space to walk liao... i asked him if he is gonna put it at the void deck downstairs.. *faint*

Pink: MyGym is also for bigger kids. When I went there, 3 kids knocked into each other's heads! The youngest one cried and screamed! So it's safer for us to the ones designed for younger babies.. And if they say foc for young babies, then no need to try liao cos sure those are for bigger kids..

blur, i bought the balloon and bib from this party ware shop at centre pt level 4.. they have nice xmas props too but some very ex.. sayang for one time use... maybe u can ask maryann the kind of xmas props she has? or does chloe like any particular toys (like for anthea's case is balloon)? aiyo... so fun to do PS !! looking forward to anthea's 1yr old one!! haha...

oh i found kiri cheese cubes in raffles city supermakt. think only ang mo supermkts or downtown supermkts have more selection of cheese... i buy the plain ones...

pink, i din top up to take with anthea. just took anthea only. i top up $250 (on top of dicounted price of $72 LBS package for returning customer, so total i paid $322) to buy back all soft copy in CD (79 shots) coz 3 prints are not enuf.. we love all the shots!!! i buy back liao print all 79 shots into nice prints for my parents and in law and they love it!!! very worth spending the $ coz the smiles on their faces when seeing their baobei granddaughter's photos are priceless... reminds me of the mastercard advert.. haha...

SQ, yr house? wah.. yr house very big wor.. heehee... but seriously if YE likes this kinda toy and yr house can contain it, can buy wor... only $199 for such a big gadget.

re: baby's assessment visit
just bring my boy last friday... was mad w Mil after i came back... cos she keep nagging me on my boy's weight. he's now 8.05kg, and mil keep pestering me to give formula, she say he gain very little weight, so poor thing not enough nutrients.... arghhhh!!!
 
QQ: so nice tian can experience kampong life. how i wish electronics toys not so abunbdance nowadays. i still prefer my zero point, 5 stones, hopscotch & pick up sticks

Edde, SQ: I feel that slide is quite small leh.. Don't think it's shiok enuf for our babies even now, let alone when they're able to climb up on it on their own.. Do u think so?

Sheepskin for slides: Wanna ask.. They provide the sheepskin at gymboree right? Is this necessary? Can our babies slide down without the sheepskin huh? Any idea?

come to think of it. i think i need to put a swing just outside my house. then i don't have to carry her while i'm wearing my shoes. and i can wear nice sexy shoes with sling. else i got to carry her, her 2 bags, my handbag, and her lunch bag! then got to lock the door! really can faint leh
 
SQ: I have the FM set, but not sure if my maid use them.. See, we seldom cook, the only raw stuff in the freezer is my baby stuff.. And we don't freeze cooked food..

Toys: Hey, I think as our kids grow older, they'll appreciate the toys more. We invited some friends over over the weekend. The kids (all bigger than Anna) love her toys! They play with everything, and I was so afraid they're too heavy and over the weight limit advised and will break the toys.. But I was still pai seh to say out loud..

I think they enjoy her toys more than she does.. Like the spinning zebra, she doesn't know how to bouce on it yet.. Hahaha..
