Morning...seems quiet today... ^_^
can i start the ball rolling by asking stupid ques?? hee....
i'm hoping to bring my son to swim, but can i knw wat are the things to prepare? do we need to buy swimming suit for them? (if yes, where do we buy it?) any cheap location to buy? do we need to buy float? but bb will grow up fast, won't we be wasting $ if they are not able to wear the swim suit anymore??

i m still at home.. will be going for the casting soon. actually from what the person told me, it's very fast, just 10-15mins, take some photos and a short video.. then she will present some to her client to choose.. something like that.

I think u can send pics of Elisha directly to those modeling agencies. I read this in last week's Sunday Times. Then if they interested, they will call u to go and do a portfolio.. but i think must pay some money. For this casting I am going, I got to know the info from Carol who said somebody posted it here! But this one, they looking for a boy.. so maybe lookout here and there bah.

for swim diaper, think there is only 1 brand so far in the market, Huggies. My friend teach me that after the swim, just squeeze out the water and dry it out.. then can re-use! Can re-use a few times until it's old, tearing.. of course if bb happened to poo, then must throw immediately. For swimsuit, i can't advise cos i also didn't buy! Some of the mummies here buy thermal swim wear to keep bb warm.

regarding grandparents "pampering" our kids, i just came up with something ..... i "complain" to my hubby abt this issue, then dun know why coincidentally my mil sort of grumble to my hubby abt my boy sticking his thumb during eating, very dirty and messy.... so my hubby "suan" his mum lah. Then i hinted my hubby before, if his mum is going to intervene when i'm disciplining my boy, i'm going to "scold/beat" him harder infront of my mil!!! hahaha
last night, this "opportuntiy" just popped, my boy suck his thumb like nobody's biz during feeding, i tried to stop a few times, then my boy starting crying technique on me again!! then never mind, he bang the table on his hi-chair, then bang on my hands also... wow, i "beat" him on his palm. he cry louder, then my mil intervene, I "beat" harder and shoo her away! then i "told" my boy off, telling him no food for him if he continues to suck, and took him off the hi-chair until he stop crying!!!
of cos my dear mil heartache loh, say dun let him cry so hard, else he will suck in air!! wah, i told her loh, my boy is coming 9 mths leh, not 9 days... he already know how to regulate his breathing thr his nose, suck what air!!!

hahaha... usually i try to avoid direct conflicts lah. but if i'm left w no choice, then will choose to hv direct conflicts than seeing my boy "continue to be pamper"....
hahaha.... i somemore say to my boy "cry harder lah, ah ma won't and cannot bother!!" hahaha.... i dun know lah, sometimes just stuck cotton wool in my ears and dun listen to mil's nag lah. dun need to be too "ke qi" on such things.... i always use my sil's gal as ref. last time she told me my sil got bitten by her gal when teething and many other things lah... i always say it goes back to discipline, teething can let the baby hv teething rusk or toy, no need to bite adults what... bad habit!! i won't allow my boy to do that...... got 1 time my boy also almost bite me during breastfeeding, i immediately "pull him off" my breast and give him a warning look!!!
