SQ: i did ask the PD. by what age shoul di be concerned if teng can't pull to stand or sit up from lying dwn posisiton by himself.. i can't remember. but hink she said in another 3 mths? wah.. this 'deadline' getting wider and wider.. my PD at sengkang says 11mths.. Dr low says 1 yr.. Dr one says after 1 yr. wah .. like that lei. i can make myself feel better lei. see one more PD.. then can become after 2 yrs liao! cool.. i should do just that..
 
SQ: my arm muscle as good as all of u all lah. All u need is the right technique..hehe. i giap her with my left arm, then must put a cushion below ur arm( i highly recommend my ikea goose feather cushion - damn good, not rigid like foam cushion). so just rest ur arm on the pillow and let bb scream away. position bb so her legs faces out and behind so u dun kicked in the process of her screaming fit. This will leave ur other arm free to type on the computer and surf the net lor..hehe.
I will put her down next to me after she is in deep sleep lah.
I do get enuff sleep cos sumtimes, i nap together with her.. thrice a day..hehe. but it will be siong when i go back to work next yr.
I am hoping to start after she turns 1, so i think march next yr lor.
 
carol: u took him for casting for that child model posted by someone in our thread some time back? not fun?

haha!! this is so funny.. mum just told me go see teng's sleeping position. he flipped onto his tummy ah.. then wriggle his toes and feet!. he seldom sleep on his tummy one..his butt also slightly shifting... hmmm.. i think i am begining to see more mobility.. good.. good :p got hope liao

u know... jus let Teng be. if he wan smthg and he screams his top off, ignore him. eventually he will fig tat he got to move.... CIO! too bad, but it got to be done. if not, u may have a spoiled brat on ur hands... "u dun help me get it, i sit here and CRY!" die liao..
 
astro: yep, tt's the one. nothing much lor, juz take pics & video. he not cooperative. want him to sit but he keep crawling away. mayb teng can do better, juz sit there n let them snap
 
SQ/Astro: ya, i just witness her grabbing the edge of the bath tub, then she will be in a squatting position and using her arms, push to stand up. dangerous leh esp now she still wobbling a bit and ya slippery too, i scared she slip and smack her face on the edge of the tub and knock out her teeth!!..think my imaginaton ran wild while recalling the scene!
 
Astro: ya ya i agree with pax, like i mention before liao, ur this issue should consider CIO, this will motivate him to move leh. how, wanna hold my hand, we CIO together?
 
mommies wanting to buy swimming costume, there is an arena sale at henderson juz now. starting tom till 2dec. if only it starts today then i can buy

last time i put M in a PAIL! bcos he kept wanting to stand in the bathtub.. A big pail is ideal, bcos it fills up faster, save water and height jus nice to grab the side to stand...
 
Pax: do u throw ur yogurt away after 3 days in the fridge? u mention the possibilty of freezing some yogurt as start culture for next batch.. so can work??

SQ: dun have to buy the blanket from this BP lah, with this price, u can get very very nice bb blankets outside leh.
BTW: did u use the terry cloth jshopper sleep bag we got from the BP here the last time?

i made my yogurt in 4oz batches.. will fin one.. i fin the rest with apple puree last nite... heeee... i din freeze my yogurt.. still got the pauls yogurt...

Pax, Carol: i not keen to get my ger to do child modelling, damn siong man i tell u, and i feel the kids loose their innocence one leh.. u look at them, they give u that jaded look and the way they speak also, no longer innocent like a child. i was helping my classmate who is a known local fashion photographer during my 2nd trimester, went with him to do casting for his jobs.. damn siong man. those poor baby. really changed my impression of child modelling...but then again $$ is not too bad esp for commercial or ads.

star and pax: another round of crying.. sian.. just now he was crying cos want to sit up.. realise that it is very difficult for him to tuck his thighs in. coz too fat? .. then Dr ong advised the 'sit up' kind lei. not the flip over - doggy style- then sit up kind lei.
 
carol: no issue one, u just submit asher's photo, if they keen, they will contact u. got slight fees lah cos need to do comm cards etc lah unless ur child is super outstanding and they desperately wants u. but hor, i feel asian bbs not much job opporunity in sg cos most clients wants the pan-asian look..which are mostly the mixed parentage babies..think maybe kira got chance..hhehe.

Pax. i KS, i did double the amount. use 250ml milk, now still have some.. think i will fiish it but i scared i will get fat from eating all these full fat yogurt leh.
 
now so clingy.. coz refused to sit.. just lie against my mum, vertical, want to stand..

i think i am frustrated. with myself. coz ireally dunno how to encourage him to do all these by himself. yes.. frustrated with myself.. not at the boy
 
Astro: i think i have one advice for u, i will be a bit blunt here k, so hope u dun mind.. U need to CIO teng! i think u should stop justifying why teng cannot move and is crying(eg fat thighs, fat butt, heavy etc), i dun think there is anything wrong with him, he is not too fat or heavy, he IS strong enuff, fit and agile too, so he def can tuck in his legs, move his butt and lift himself up from the ground. he crying cos he lacks practice and he knows u will eventually come and rescue him, he is TOO DEPENDENT on u. just let him cry and figure out himself how tomove. bbs are smart, they will know wat to do after a few days of trying. oj the end

starfruit: trunki ah..useful for me lo..cos i go kl every month.. can really fit all seth's stuff..can compress ma! hee...next time can visualise him pulling his own luggage.. :p or sitting on it..hee... the material quite tough la..though fr the inside looks cheapo..hee..cos of the protrusion where the wheels r... otherwise i find it cute n good! =) a tad expensive...but compared to normal luggage, this is more fun lo!

Carol: alamak, i did not know that u keen on modelling ley? hey i should submit ur photo to my fren. she works at Women's weekly, she approached me twice to do some product feature in the mag. i rejected cos diff to go for shoot looking after Rae. She does need ppl occassionally (esp new mothers to do those features) I let u know when she is next looking for ppl k.
 
PAx: Dr Ong couldn't undersant what i was telling her abt flip over-doggy-sit up.. so laid teng on the table.. teng flipped over to tummy. but she flipped him over to stomach.. then give him fingers to pull to stand! aint that what i have been doing all along? like that got sit up by himself meh???

no . nvr tell me cut carbo. but i think she did tried to assure me that bigger bbs like teng.. is often slower..

anyway.. teng is eating less carbo. more on proteins, vitamins and minerals liao..


Vexed.. not that it is a qn of CIO-ing or not CIO-ing.. the problem now is i dun have the confidence and the know how.. how to guide him..

as long as Teng is SAFE, not in any dangerous place or in danger of getting into unsafe places, jus let him cry...
i got another idea. u sit him next to your coffee table (must be sturdy one). in front of him, mile all his toys on the table.. NONE w/in his reach. see wat he does... if he's really self entertain, play with fingers, then i give up liao.. otherwise, he will sure find someway to get his stuff...
 
Carol: can can.. they looking for new mothers.. on usually household products or related article, they pay peanuts though, usually its more gift hamper. my fren did a kitchen product feature for the mag, they gave her a national blender.. quit good leh, cos the blender expensive.
 
Astro: ya just leave him there and u come back here to cont, let him cry, see if he will eventually figure out that he needs to pull himself up to get his toys.

astro. how? teng managed to do something? actually. i dun mean to put many artificial setting, but with your house, u can put near your dining table, then you eating something, or doing something with sounds. i am sure that teng would want to know what u are doing. then maybe with a chair just besides him, he will just grab and stand.
if a nice nice home (not saying u la, i saying my sil), with everything hide inside cabinet, everything put nice nice, cannot see cushions on the sofa, on the floor, all chairs hidden under table, then how to attract children to explore?
My tian went bil house very sian one. cause nothing to hold her to stand up except sofa..
