Open the Bag 2. (with two same fruits because all labels are WRONG)
If bag 2 is an orange, then bag 1 is mixed, bag 3 is apples. (all labels wrong as condition)
if bag 2 is apple, then bag 1 is orange, bag 3 is mixed. (al labels wrong as condition)
why torture our kids leh?
 


I was still trying to DIGEST the language of the question.

"Can you re-label the bags just by looking at one of the fruit in one bag"
so it is in ONE BAG, not IN EACH bag. initially i tot i can open and get one fruit out of EACH BAG.
haha! so english must be powerful enough to solve the problem too.

when I saw your answer me more blur, if only open bag 2, how we know what is inside bag 1? then when I try to type, I understand your answer if it ALL LABEL WRONG AS CONDITION :p

this is how i elaborate the answer...very layman.

Bag 1 (it has to be 2 orangs or mixed - bcos it is not 2 apples)
Bag 2 (it has to be 2 apples or 2 oranges - bcos it is not mixed)
Bag 3 (it has to be 2 apples or mixed - bcos it is not 2 oranges)

Step 1: Take 1 fruit from Bag 2

Answer 1:
If pick out apple from Bag 2, Bag 2 is 2 apples.
So, Bag 3 cannot be 2 apples, and it has to be MIXED.
So, Bag 1 will be 2 oranges.

Answer 2:
If pick out orange from Bag 2, Bag 2 is 2 oranges.
So, Bag 1 cannot be 2 oranges and has to be Mixed.
ANd, Bag 3 will have to be 2 apples!
 
correct!.. hahah.. this question trains your understanding of the question. if u read the question slowly and craefully, u should be able to solve it.

next time when we teach our kids, have to be very systematic. i feel drawing method is easiest.

e.g. bag 2 cannot be mixed, so draw out 2 apples or 2 oranges and link to it...something like that

anyway, this should be a P3-4 question, i sincerely hope so.

This question is more difficult.

Question: What coloured Hat?
There are four prisoners of war (POW). They are not allowed to talk, move or turn around. If anyone talks or turn around, he will be shot immediately for they are surrounded by enemies.

Each prisoner of war will be given a coloured hat to wear. No one must look at their own hat. The enemy is now going to give the POW a challenge. If ONE of the 4 prisoners can tell him what colour hat he has on his head, he will let all of them go. But if the first answer is wrong, then they will all be shot. They are all given 10 minutes to think carefully. The first answer will determine their fate.

One vital piece of information to get the POW started is that there are 2 red hats and 2 blue hats. (I will attach picture below, the sequence of the hats happened to Red-Blue-Red-Blue)

And if no one gives an answer within 10 minutes, the four POW will also die.
Note that NO ONE is allowed to talk, move or turn around. Any movement from the POW will result in death for all four POW.

POW3 cos he notice POW4 dare not guess so he must have know that POW4 is seeing POW2 and POW3 as red and blue. So he will guess his as Blue as he sees that POW2 is wearing red.

i wont be surprised that my maid watch TV at home. mr tan didnt bother to install hidden cam. no way to control. I will be angry but after a while, i will sympathise with them..for Rina, she takes care of Enya around the clock, not like last time still can go walk walk with us, go tiong bahru plaza etc, now she is at home 95% of the time, quite boring. So if she watches once in a while, Im fine. sometimes i ask her to go playground with Leia, she can talk to other maid/s, also let her swim with Leia once in a while. I think maids who meet employers like me are very lucky. WAHAHHAHAHA!
 
today i cannot tahan liao. I called the maid agency and want them to scold my maid. Cos she really has attitude problem. Always give black face for days when being told off, when talked to her she dun look into the eyes and nvr apologise.

Not sure did the agency called her. sighh...

tiring to work and wake up so early to cook, wake up at 5am!!! hahaha... i feel like dozing off now... n my elder X hor, dun appreciate the food!! cos i cook simple food, usually steam etc, didn really fry n he end up dun like the food. sigh!!! Maybe i just cater food for a few days lah, tired!

think your maid super bored now. when bb is out, she wont have time.
e.g. in the day, enya sleeps for 1/2 hr on-off and this gal needs a lot of attention. If nobody is around her, she will yell for pple to talk to her. Rina has to do housechores during these 1/2hrs, such as washing clothes, ironing clothes, prepare dinner (if my mum reaches my place early, she will cook instead). I doubt she can have proper nap also.
from the way she plays and takes care of Enya, i know she likes my bb a lot. But, sometimes she says things like "what is MY BB doing?" i feel a bit awkware lah, cos its mine leh..:p
