yo,
i am given another week of mc before PT goes for his holiday next friday. then next visit is thursday.
i asked him if I can go back to work,
he said: Doctor will tell u when to go back to work, stay at home until I tell you so. (he knows i work in lab, have to walk and stand that kind).

scanned so many times (Singapore and msia also din detect any twins????), everytime also covered with blood in the womb except the baby and sac. this time, still see some blood there with something like an empty sac (loose skin type, but not 100% confirm though). so high chance that i was carrying a twins. one survives while the other one did not. however, the one that did not survive is not near to the vagina outlet there. so all bleedings are blocked by this baby and sac.
so, will expect more bleeding, but no need to panic (unless its FRESH). continue to take hormones otherwise very diff to sustain.
i guess, now i have lots of hormones (opposite effects) in my body, i just need to fight over the better hormones for my baby. in genral, this baby is not really affected at all at the moment. its really amazing hor???? i bleeded so much!

AA, i understand. that's why i was wondering if i really stay at home, also bleed wat. seems like not really helping me much by lying down everyday. but i do vomit so i was consoling myself everything seems ok.
I asked PT if really lost my the other twins, will this affect the development of this one in the long run? he said NO.
however, those things might come out by itself, so we need to support this one. let others come out naturally. blood clots will be seen too.
so chim hor.

i dunno la, but this also explains a bit of why I have the following symptoms.
1. ppl can tell me that i was pregnant when i was < 8 weeks pregnant. maybe i am fat la.
2. sudden surges of up and downs in hormones?? i can one second feeling energetic, but another second suddenly feel lethargic. i dunno how to explain, its fluctuating too much for me.
3. when I reach KL, i think i already lost the baby, but i din know. the bleeding was fresh, and a lot.. a lot... all other two gynae saw liao also commented baby is not affected but all bloody inside, need to purge out by itself so will continue to bleed.

so, is this a blessing in disguise?
i think so la. but i was oni celebrating that i actually can have TWINS. cant believe it.. i kept am4 chio3 at fish and co just now. sil and hb kept teasing me.

we will have another week of er4 ren2 shi4 jie4 next week. cause hb will not go back to KL so soon.

good to hear you bb is doing find. not sure should I say congrat you, is it confirm the other din survive or just can't see him cos cover by the blood?

oni one is surviving well now. the other one (the one that i lost) I dun even know when I lost it cause always from scan bb was ok. maybe early early stage already cannot make it but unable to tell from scan. always blocking? i dunno leh.
i just accept it...

very sad, NVM lah, think of the bright side your another bb still survive/growing well.
the blood might be from the other not survive. let it purge out, dun worried too much since gynae say it not affected the baby.

Twins is really tough to care for lah. Everything also need 2 times more - very expensive. Better to focus on one..

You rest well.. If this were my gynae, I think he'll be giving me MCs by 2 weeks liao.. You'll be seeing him on a weekly basis?

HJ: You don't know liver is no good meh? Since you've eaten, then better don't scare you.

Star &amp; Astro, Disneyland tokyo very crowded, every ride must q very long, also, mostly in japanese, cant understand. But atmosphere wise, tokyo better. Old old young young all dressed up for the fun day. My tour guide said cos japanese very tong zhen.

my take is go there when our kid bigger. Else, i feel very hard to handle leh.

AA, ya lor. good news la. last week PT already suspect could be another sac there but he said too much blood then cannot see and confirm. so just take hormones and let womb relax and blood flow out. today can see better woh. bb is still fine. so i told mr lai this could be a XX instead of XY. haha!
PT got a shock, both of us LAUGHEd so loudly when i asked hb, miscarriage le.. but still got one more bb ok. i will see him next week. he said weekly basis, until baby is stable.
now my hormones dosage is lower. but he said, if i vomit out due to ms, pop in another one cause most prob it will have been vomitted out. dun take the risk. we need hormones to support this baby. i guess i need more pills to standby. now need to prevent any contraction cause threatening bb.

now i am thinking how to bu3 myself for the loss of my bb, blood. etc. cause if someone miscarriage, sure need to bu3 right? but i have a bb inside, i might not be able to bu3. i need to see a sinseh. my fren ask me to see on next tuesday. her sinseh (specialised in women and bb). see how.

I think it is a relief for you to know the reason for the bleeding. At least there is an explanation. Hmm, be careful with the chinese herbs though. I think for simple "bu", maybe can take essence of chicken.
 
QQ: I think, the most important thing you need is to have more blood. Did PT give you iron pills? Or can you take if the bleeding hasn't stopped? Plus, I think you can also have more calcium. Yah, I will also be careful of chinese sinseh. Not to say I don't believe or it's not effective, but am afraid there could be a clash between western and chinese medication. But I'm not an expert in this field. GO listen to what the sinseh says also good, no need to taje the medication if you don't feel comfortable. And hor, take cordyceps. This is confirmed good lah - for both you and bb. And.. Cant say this enough.. Rest, rest, rest..

Give warning to your boss that your gynae has warned you it could take some time before you can go back to work..

ya. i am a bit careful about chinese herbs. that's why after i got bleeding, i dun take any, except essence of chicken.
i just want to go listen what the sinseh say. see how. if its just red dates and simple stuff, then i will take. chim chim one i need to double confirm. actually losing one baby is the prime suspect now, but of course i dun hope to hear more complex reason. i hope this is the one. very RARE hor. like tht i also kena? amazing.

but i lost so much blood, i need to bu3 lar, i feel. otherwise i dunno if i can tahan or not. complicated hor.
AA, i ran out of sick leave liao, i wanna check how i can take hospitalisation leave. see how.
i have obimin. the problem with it is when i take it, i have worst ms. not only that, i will tend to constipate. then hor, i dare not push too hard when i go toilet cause i scare bb is pushed out. so so so, i dun take everyday de. i take like every 2-3 days.

i go bil's place for birthday celebration liao. bought a cake for him.

QQ: I was prescribed iron tablets (chewable ones, taste like chocolate) on top of the multi-vit cos gynae said my blood count was on the low side. I didn't take obimin for Ayden, it was another brand of multi-vit - no constipation. But I forgot the brand. You want me to call my gynae to check? Else, got to take more vege and fibre. You need to take everyday cos you need it for your body leh.
As for hospitalisation leave, I think can de. Talk to your boss and HR. Am sure they'll understand. Cos it's too easy for you to be taking ML mah..

good to know the reason for the bleeding, at least you won't keep on worrying about the bleeding. It's quite common in twins pregnancy that one don't make it in the initial stage. It's indeed a blessing in disguise that it got purged out this early else it might cause more problem if at later stage.

mummies, share some funny silliness about EJ.

we have the Huggies Tent, and past week, he likes to ask us to open, and keep asking us to "go in tent".. so he will go "mama go in tent", "por-por go in tent".. and he keep repeating.. so end up me and my mum must go inside the tent to sit with him.. and this happened a few times already! i think it must be a funny sight cos we just sit inside and watch TV. the tent has 2 panels which are netting.. so we can still watch TV sitting inside!

actually PT did mention that wait for the baby to grow bigger and push the sac and absorbed if it is not purged out. so i might still experience bleeding until this baby is stable.

I heard from 2 mummies that lost the other twin told us before that the bb was also purged out of the body like normal blood. As long as the gynae didn't say there's anything serious or any problem with the other twin, it'll be fine.

Unless your body can't get the twin out on its own then the gynae will do D&amp;C for you cos the procedure might pose some danger to your surviving one. But it seems like your body is purging it out normally so you don't have to worry bah.
 
RR, from the site also saying if too early stage oni through vagina scan can tell that there are two sacs. actually hor, i HOPE that this is really the cause la. I have to tell myself yes! this is.

so your two other friends who lost one of the twins got bleeding for how long? my body purging a lot liao, now left sagging sac behind. i dunno if it will chor deng to this surviving one.

actually it's a good thing that you didn't know about it earlier too else you might feel saddened over this.

Your surviving twin should grow and develop normally as a singleton after the other one is fully out.

of course can eat liver. you not like eat how many kilo per day.. won't overdose on Vit A la. Just eat, must have enough blood cos u lost a lot of blood liao.

i have no craving but i seem to have unstable appetite. i like roti prata but hb said eat too much no good, i hate rice. etc.. but sometimes i eat still ok de.

RR, yalor. actually i dun feel sad about the lost. but i worry about the current one. a bit of worry la. just now vomit 4-5 times liao, less worry, but still dunno if those residue inside wil block or cause complication next time or not. dun want to get infection. so purge purge purge. maybe i need to pick up qi4 gong1...

I don't know how long did their bleeding cos they left the twins thread after losing the other twin. But I "saw" one of them in another thread and her surviving bb was doing quite well, came out quite big too.

The 2 sacs are usually very small for twins so need to do vaginal scans then can see. I remember mine could only see the sacs thru vaginal scan till 8 weeks then can see embryos and detect heartbeats. We were so worried from week 5 - week 8.

Did your gynae mention anything about will the residue cause any problem or if body can't purge out totally then how? He should be able to advise you on these bah. If not then everything should be fine, don't worry too much.

I didn't bring them to doctor. I've got all sorts of medicine at home, usually doctors will give me extra bottles to keep.

I gave them cholormine (not sure about spelling) to help them sleep better. My nurse friend told me as long as running nose doesn't come with fever or cough, it's ok. Just drink lots of water and rest well.
 
RR, doctor said ok one. not too worry. lets monitor one more week. continue hormones cause its a must at this stage for me. if next week the sac is clear then me ok liao. bb will push and grow. this could happen. ok de. let see, and he said NO WORRY.
but he said it might take weeks or months too.. will sitll continue bleeding woh. alamak.

next week mc again.
