if you can't "attack" from your mum's side, then maybe you got to try on teng's side.

when he whines at your mum, you tell him firmly "no". kept repeating that until he gets the point. should work if you are consistent about it

SQ: ya.. coz her only source of 'income' is from me (acutally miser) and my sis.. she will not know how to stop when the time is good.. and then keep playing into the wee hours of the night thta kind. she claims the bets are small.. but together with everything else toto, 4D and such. the allowances she received.. can't even last half a month for her.. and she is horrible coz she would rather gamble everything away. skimp on her meals then to eat proper food, not buying some shoes for herself when her shoes already goyak.. hair dun cut and become so damm messy.. all the 'savings' goes into her manjong sessions..*sigh*

ya.. but i can't possibly bring teng out everyday. like taht i tink easier ask her not to come.. ya. i know i have very tough battle to fight.. somtimes i regret my initial decision of allowing her to come over to help taking care of teng..but this is one of those decisions which are 'irreversible'....

SQ: ya she still can wear her bblegs leh.. i think her thighs not that fat, so not much marking, only very slight red around her upper thighs after wearing but they go off quite fast...so maybe she's not as chubby as u think??hehe think only her face chubby but not her tights/legs and arms. BUt her tummy fat fat and round too..heheh

Why bblegs will cause marking on YE's knees?? too tight around her knees?

YE's less chubby than rae. but her bottom damn heavy. alot of times when pple carry her, they underestimate her weight cos her face so damn small! then they'll almost fall backwards when they lift her up. after that, they'll say "WOW! steady leh, her legs"

we last weigh her a month ago, she was 8.4kg.

SQ:8.4 very good weight leh, not too light or too heavy. since her height 75%, she should be quite tall.. think over 70cm lah.

Just down, Rae slip will trying to hold on to her cot bumper and she fell with her face right smack onto the cot bars.. aiyo she cried so loud, holding her breath kind.. i tot it didn't look so painful... but she could not stop crying.
And my silly ger dun know how to sit back up after her fall. She just hold still there with her face still on the cot bar and cried for me!

ya lor. her face small small. people look at her face and ask me if she's 5 months. can faint. then they look at her development, and v impressed with her when she says bye bye, do flying kiss, twinkle twinkle etc. cos they think "WA! this bb so clever! 5 months oni can do all these!"

then my hubby say v good. cos pple think she damn smart! ??!! better than me, chao4 lao2 kind lah

hee hee... i also think she's over 70 cm. actually she's of my ideal weight. i mean, i would love to be taller for my weight also. but no such luck. so i'm v jealous of her. we two should switch role

how long on average do u take to teach/train YE to do all those gestures when instructed??.. teng does it at his own free will.. dunno how to teach him to gesture..when i asked him to..at least entertain me and make me happier a bit lah..

YE's ready to drop her 7pm feed leh. i'm kinda worried. cos she drinks only 2-3 oz at that time. but if i don't feed her, she'll only drink a total of 3 feeds a day, 5oz (max) each wor. so scared she'll not have sufficient milk

QQ: hey my PD say can eat papaya if constpated.. i think Rae loves papaya, both of us finished this 1 big papaya in 1 day. And ya bananas is no no.. cos its stool binding will make constipation worst.

SQ: no lah, not stupid, some mummies are just not so tech savy.

Hope: 4 oz is a lot leh... its tat why she is not eating much? i mean it comes up to 8 oz thru the night.

Mil can't take care of my boy now. Have to get a maid. Would like to check with Pink, babygirl and Irin. Your maid sounds good and ok, are they flinpino or indo? Or any mummies got any advice?

Astro: ya stop liao, she was still crying when i was carrying* her, i distracted her a bit and then dump her back in her cot while i went to shower.. hehe, she was wimpering slightly when i put her back in her cot. think like wat SQ say, more shock than pain.

SQ/Hope: ya.. a lot..if around 60 or less.. still can drop... these amoints can't..hope, constance doesn't take much solids .. right?

just to share. i thought i can drop teng's afternnon feed at 230pm.. and therefore he can whallop 240ml at 6.30.. now.. maybe i think i can't.. coz yesterday night at 1030. i spend more than 2 hors trying to gt him back o sleep.. end up have to feed him 180ml.. 4am woke up ehhh-ing.. then eventually screaming.. refused to settle ..gave him another 120.. and this morning at 7am.. he still took 200ml milk, over 3/4 bowl of cheerios with 90ml milk, and one whole tub of yogurt!.lunch also ate a lot.. jialat.. now i dunno whether he growth spurt.. or i did something wrong somewhere..

later going to try let him have his 230 feed. see how much he drinking.. and will that affect his appetite for milk at 630..i hope not.. i have neought of waking up at 4am..haiz..

Astro: hey i was just thinking, it might not be safe for u to put teng in the play yard w/o a bumper mat. If he tried to pull to stand and fall, quite jialat leh, cos will land hard on the floor. u wanna maybe use the ABC Foam mat first till miser give u the green light for the bumper mat?

Hai...., mil not ok. Now i'm at lost don't know what to do. Cos immed i need to find someone to take care of dylan. Just dylan with my mum for one day, he got separation anxiety. Now see my mum also cry. My mum also stress till sick after taking care of dylan.
Stress coming from many to ask me to quit my job to look after my boy myself. I request hubby to let me try maid help or really can't then i quit my job. Got lots of problems now including where to change my elder girl's cc.

SQ: YE enough milk liao.she's weaning leh. off milk.. can't increase milk mah. like that why need wean to solids right?

. but i wondering lah. if drop 7pm.. then the previoius milk feed is at what time ah?? coz like that how to last through the night ah??..

can increase more milk based sauces for her solids, yogrut and cheese for her if u worry abt her 'low' milk intake..

hope: if constance is stil lnot taking enoughsolids.. or refuse solids.. then i think have to work out a way to drop all those night feeds.. else.. she is not going to increase her solids intake.. coz like what star mentioned.. 8 oz mlik in the night.. a lot. plus daytime.. how much? i have this feeling constance drinking too much milk hence affecting her appetite for solids..

star: exacly what i have in mind too.. according to miser.. my sis in law has one mat.. dunno if bumper playmat or what. he assured me good one. .i doubt so. coz his whole family ' thrifty'.. will have to check it out soon..

i wun wait for him give green light one.. once i start on RP.. i will buy anyting i want for teng liao.. who cares abt him asying no.. heehee. and then.. i need to 'stay far away' from bbgirl.. coz i will go buy all the things she buy for anna. but i can't coz me not as rich as her!

Huingnee: What happen to your MIL? can she still be around to jagar while the new maid takes care of the major houswork, and most of the taking care of bb? so dylan won't feel so much anxiety cos still can see her?

i try not to eat YE's food. somehow. so if i buy papaya, she got to finish almost the whole thing herself. unless real bo bian, then i try to "help". haha....

if drop the 7pm feed, then the last feed would be at 2+pm or 3pm. after that it's dinner at 5/6pm. she usu v full at 7pm still wan leh. doesn't drink much wan..

i already give her yogurt every am wor. but she doesn't eat that much lah. not like teng, one whole tub kind. she just eat two ice-cubes of yogurt at most (plus cereal and fruit)

Astro: i think either ur SIL has the ABC foam mat or the regular play mats from tiny toons.. those are not expensive, can get them under $50.
So u have a shopping list drawn out for the stuff you wanna buy for teng once u start work?..hehehe

SQ: The papaya was so sweet, i could not resist.. anyway i realised that her appetite is better when she see me eating with her.. she enjoys her food more.

BTW: Can we give old cucumber to baby? Rae loves old cumcumber(Lao wang gua).. those i fish out from our soup... she can eat like almost 1/3 of the entire old cucumber.. maybe cos the texture is soft.

SQ: maybe YE drinking too much for 2pm.. and plus all the solids for 6pm.. no more appetite for mik at 7pm liao. cut back.. say give 120 first.. and also cut back on solids (how much she eats ah for dinner?).. else can might have the probabliity that skali wake up at night for milk.. coz not enough milk in the day..
