Think if o's feet 11cm now, u need to order a L. Tian also 11cm and QQ ordering L. Think XL might be too big.
Astro: U switch on the smallest ring of fire on ur stove, place the corningware (sorry just realised i type tupper in my last post..so silly), wait for about half a min then switch off fire. Pan should be warm to touch liao.

i dun use cotton wool to clean bb's face long ago...i use a face cloth and wipe over..haha...i just tell him, come clean face...then i wipe here and there...he will move alot coz he dun like...

that time when jaylen admitted kk, his nose block quite bad..the nurse used both the medicated and saline drop together...2weeks ago, jaylen oso down with flu...i used both and he recovered quite fast...u want to check with dr and see if it's ok to use both for bel?

qq: actually calamine lotion came to my mind too.. but i dun like the powdery residue after it dries up. dunno if bb will lick it or not...haa..i forgot..maybe tian not like seth.. seth eats anything!!! sunblock was the only 'colorless' thing i can think of. plus serves 2 purposes oso ma..not so shocking la... heh.

i believe the mmr jab has egg yolk ingredient.. dats y our bbs need to 'try' yolk now to be sure they r not allergy to it. egg allergy is jus like any other food allergy. dun think has anything to do with sensitive skin. unless to say sensitive skin ppl prone to allergies, which i dun think so la...
jus to share:
jus like adults need a balanced diet, bbs too need a little of everything in a meal. i made sure seth has meat,veggie and grains/carbo and after dinner fruits 2 times a day. breakfast can be yogurt/cereal/fruits. nothing fanciful to remember. every cookin session i'll make sure i cook 2 meat dishes (1 dish includes chicken/pork/fish + greens of the week), 1 big veggie dish (usually potato/pumpkin/carrot + greens of the week + lentils/tofu), 2 fruits dishes (usually a tropical/seasonal fruit for lunch and apples+pear for dinner), plus stock of the week(veggie/meat stock). meal time jus take out 1 meat cube, 1 veggie cube + multi grain(lunch)/brown rice porridge(dinner), and 1 fruit cube. only thing to note is give the hard to digest food in the day (avocado, chicken/pork) and the easier to digest at night (apples, fish). do also try to give more carbo at dinner so bb can 'dong' thru the night without waking up for feed. so far his stools r manageable. the last time i gave him tofu+spinach+french beans+carrot+potato, he passed motion 4 times a day! soft n pasty stools.. maybe some of u mummies can try. =p not proven la.. jus super alot of s*** during that week till i ban the combi liao! if all else fails... PLEASE GIVE KARIHOME GOAT'S MILK!!! (full force gao gao... 7 oz full strength.. confirm chop n guarantee!)

Erm, my goat milk yoghurt failed. It remained watery even though got sour taste liao and taste very chalky, not nice. I suspect that I may have added too like milk powder. Made my second batch last night from Similac, haven't got chance to try yet. See how is it tomorrow.
Today DA YI MA finally visited!
Today bought YT to gymbo at Vivo. Wanted to go for lvl 3 at 11 am but there is no class so end up playing free play gym. For a moment both MIL and myself thought that the $15 is going to end up wasted cuz she just sit rooted to the spot, dun want to touch anything, fuss and whine when I tried to get her to climb the steps, slopes etc. But the gymbo lady very nice, passed us some balls and a bell to entice her. After a while, she warmed up to the place le, and climb all over. Amazingly, she can crab walk up the slide by holding on to the side (she tried to hold on to both sides but too arms span too little, only can hold on to one)but she doesn't like sliding down it (I hold on to her to slide her down) Btw, at this age, is it safe for them to slide down on their own? But hor, she kept licking all the stuffs also... esp the monkey bar, she hang on not just with her hands but her mouth as well... duh... So after a while, she'll protest if I take her away from the equipment even though I'm just moving her to another one. Lucky she din protest when we leave.

joelle: i think rae allergic to Goat's milk. She broke out in rash leh (onher back) i added GM powder to her food for 2 days. Now stop for a while. I will test again next week, see if the GM is really the culprit.

regarding the salt on salmon, i wash away the salt before cooking.... ;p

Hello mummies! I haven't been able to catch up with the posts cause too busy! Will read up the archives later..
Today first time we engage a part-time cleaner lady. She is cleaning now and it actually feel quite nice! haha.. i tell u, past few nites I was desperately trying to clear up some of the horrible stuff lying around in my hse before she comes today.. cos I don't want her to faint! But whatever I could clear was like 5percent only. Just now when she started, I really wanted to dig a hole and bury my head somewhere.. cos my house is so horrendously messy and dirty!
Luckily she didn't faint.. and she was quite nice.. she told me I am not the only one who is like that. She has seen many homes before and they were also terribly messy. Dunno is it she being polite or what.. hah! But I think I will be happy with her.. actually she has been cleaning my neighbour's house for quite a while and my neighbour told me she recommended the cleaner to her own sister and daughter.. so the trust level is very high.

astro. ya i increasing protein liao, i consider quite a lotleh. my porridge is cooked with chicken or pork stock (with some meat inside also-blended), then plus fish that i put 15 min before served. still not enough ah? then i give fruits also.. stupid la, i consider banana as fruits. weekends i give honeydew, papaya, peach, etc etc. weekday less variety. poor gal, her mama very busy and lazy recently. never read up and buck up with good information.

I am a Feb mommy, and i have a MANGO dress for sale.
Reason being, it is one size too big for me. i thought that after washing, it will shrink and fit me...but it did not...hmmm...
This dress is under the Winter'07 collection and some of the MANGO boutiques are still carrying it.
Retail price is SGD 75.
I am willing to let go at SGD 50.

EJ went for his 9-mth assessment today.. he weighs only 8.7kg at 74.5cm. I find that is very thin for a boy.. must try to fatten him liao!

EJ eats porridge everyday at the IC leh. So I don't think it's the porridge that is constipating. Or maybe it is? At the IC, they feed him FRESH apple puree everyday. Maybe that is what really helps? On weekends, I don't feed him fruits at all. Cos we too lazy! I ever fed him mango (fresh) at home but that is if we happened to buy for ourselves. For apple, u can ask your nanny to make fresh everyday for Tian. Just use 1 apple everyday, if cannot finish, throw lor.. bo bian. The IC Cook, she takes the apple and grates it.. so that is considered 'puree' liao.
Ok, EJ's diet is actually very boring, cos every week he eats the same stuff. For breakfast it's cereal, lunch is porridge + veg puree + fresh appke, tea-break is root veg puree, no dinner but another feed at cereal at 8pm. Since I make 1 batch (for 7 days) on Sunday, for the whole week, he will eat the same thing for tea-break. But I find that he has little problems in that way, so I guess it's good for us.

The Christmas party, I also want to join, but can't confirm which date yet. I am planning to go for my wisdom tooth op just before christmas, also dunno by then my mouth will still hurt like crazy or not.

read that you taking on RP. FYI, there is a infant/child care centre in RP called Learning Vision. You can consider that as an option. I heard the part-time rate is quite affordable.. so u can also consider say bring Teng there for 3 times a week, then the other 2 weekdays, u let your mum handle him alone (if she can la).

Actually I very resistant to hiring cleaners/maid unless I know the person or the person comes with high recommendation. Cos I don't want to risk cos I am quite bo-chup by nature.. hahaha.. as in, if I hire that person, I will just throw everything to her one lor.. i don't want to stress to tell her what to clean or not to touch and of course worry if the person runs through my things.. sorry, not sure if i m making sense here.. today i very happy with my cleaner.. she is an Indian lady and she has been doing this for years.. she told me all her customers have been with her for years liao.. somemore, my neighbour who is very very particular abt cleanliness, is happy with her.. so that is why I can fang4 yi4 bai3 ge4 xin1 and let her do!!

QQ: Fucidin can be used on Tian as well.. My PD gave this to Anna for her milk rash before. And it works for other rashes that appear on her face now and then.

Astro: Since that first toy, I've been assembling all the toys for Anna myself. Am very proud of it..
The only exception is the spinning zebra - I was bathing and my hubby beat me to fix it up..
There are also as many screws for the standup ball blast anna has (the other version of giraffe)...

Autum: Cheerios is the pick becos it's made of corn, different from most other such "cereals" out there. Plus, each cheerio is quite small, as the baby picks it up, it's also training her pincer grasp at the same time.

Astro: In this case, the giraffe is shorter than the standup ball blast. Hmm.. I'm just looking at the table anna has. It is shorter than her (seated), she's still able to use it as a support (By placing her hands on the table top) to stand. So even if the giraffe is indeed shorter, all is not lost, shd still work..
