no worries... can understand.. real busy nw. ay, i guess hv to tahan a period of time until the idea of going to sch gets into teng. seems like a phase all toddlers go thr? i hv to be wary of X going to this phase liao... aiyo, and this cp going ard quite fierce leh... siao liao, hope X quickly recover to go take the cp vaccine. i very paranoid liao.

wow, your MIL really change for the better leh, i'm impressed. i hope she last, dun be like my mil, 3 min craze. she always show enthusiasm at e beginning, after that u can hear her complains coming liao. nw she grumbling abt little x having a nanny. My hubby deliberately ask her to take care of little X tomorrow, while i go and relax, cut my hair etc. My MIL kept quiet when my hubby ask her... see? when need her to do job that time, she will diam liao... else she nags non stop to us and to her elder son, then he has to call us n ask to accede to her request/demand, so tt his ears get peace... sigh!

this morning so funny.. took cab to send tiff to sch mah.. den yesterday took yellowcab the driver gave her 1 sweet.. today she said she like blue.. so took blue cab.. den in the cab she said.. no sweet.. only yellow taxi got sweet.. blue one dun have.. hahahahhaa!

i tried the seah bak kut teh after u rec. not bad..i ngiao cos feel buy bak kut is ex :p will still eat la cos hubby like le.. the last time i make didnt boil long enuff want the soup to be more robust.

Astro, I was a bit surprised to hear PT teacher told me that. cause i told her that i heard it is contagious 2 days prior to outbreak that's y concern. i ask her for the common practice in the centre. she said common practice is 7 days MC given by doctor. without that consider ok. just monitor since we highlight to them earlier that tian might got it and now incubation. I guess our kids bigger liao, more relax, but i also dun want to spread the virus around, if there is. staying at home everyday is very sian hor.

About teng in school, i think i can imagine. last time evrytime go gug also drama rama in the beginning one. so now also same same. but worst la, cause not accompanied mah, plus yhe is at home, making him that he has to leave the house but didi still at home, conquering his previous territory?
Astro, i did quite a few things for tian.
1. STARs system (1 day 1 star, 5 days 5 star then i bring her to go out enjoy)
she asked for glue art, i did promise that 5 stars then i bring her, but she got 1 star already made me give in. so ok, cause it was a surpise to me that she din cry much yesterday.
today even more superb, no crying at all when we reach PT.
2. Why no crying? She was anxious, i gave her chocolates (her favourite). i call it BRAVE chocolate. yong2 gan3 qiao3 ke li4. She said after eating it she can feel brave, and won't cry. it worked (for 2 days) and i guess probably she was worried about school, etc etc. lets see if this can work for 1 week. then next week will need to lift this off.

3. TIMETABLE - i printed a timetable for her, mon-sunday. paste it on the wall. then got this word (TODAY, YESTERDAY) that she can move whenever we progress. And she knows that she has to go PT on the following day or etc etc. This also worked. but hor, she got anxious on sunday night cause she dun want to to PT on monday.

You wanna try one of these? set teng's expectation? and let him know where to go one day ahead?

Heehee, i dun have chawamshi recipe to share. My steam egg sometimes nice, sometime not nice. Also I'm not a good cook and only cook a few boring dishes.

It's good that Nick complain/quarrel with you that you don't spend enough time with him. I tell you, my hb NEVER ask me go see movie, never ask me go paktor.. never ask me go for nice dinners etc.. wahahahah.. if he has time, he will work work work.. other than that, we go marketing, supermarkets, normal dinners etc.. :p

i cant sew for sure but when young during jc days i always cook or help my mum.. after birth dun even hv time .. so the occassional fried beehoon etc my expectation also not high type.. but cannot be those CMI food i cant even stomach so far she is ok n got common sense la.. this morning however i witness her use my GLASS CLEANER n spray on my laminate wooden dresser.. i told her NO lor.. why use glass cleaner for wood le haiz..

oh last wk i tried tom yam fried bee hoon. i love it only that last min i realised my tom yam paste from thailand is just a sweet paste may not hv the taste so added in knor tom yam cubes le.. too much msg liao.. so now i want to find a tom yam paste w no msg i can use..

does rina cook daily??

gals can take spicy food better than boys? Or are more glutton? Reyes can eat Kent's bak chor mee or wanton mee with chilli but Reyden will scream "hot". Reyden's tolerance for spicy food is the as mine, = 0. :p

My BIL n 2SILs r in Perth.. But only 1 SIL is staying wif my MIL.. The rest all married.. But in the day, my SIL will go to work, so left only my MIL at home.. So now, my hubby is considering of gg back for gd, also to accompany my MIL.. Then let the kids attend pre-sch over there..

Yup, when the kids r young, really difficult to hv time for hubby.. Actually, i also din hv much time for hubby.. The only time we hv is to watch TV together after the kids sleep at night.. Guess Nick is young, tat's y he still wanna some couple time.. Glad tat he understands your situation now..

rina doesnt cook everyday maybe 50% a week, sometimes my mum cooks.

last sat my mum cooked chilli crab after i told her i saw RR's crabs! i think she just bought some special paste from NTUC....add some scrambled egg and fry with the crabs!
she also got this special tomyam paste and cook it with prawns! nice!

Wow.. all food talk since yesterday.. But too bad, i can only see but not taste.. We will be vegetarian for 49 days cos my fil was a vegetarian, then dunno who mentioned tat if his springs r to be vegetarian, will be gd for him.. But whether to follow or up, it's up to us..

erm... i don't think there is msg taste in it. u can buy n try... otherwise, u can just use 5 spice powder, star anise and dark n light soya sauce to make ur own.... add some brown sugar to sweeten a little n play w the taste. oso can... i often do that too.

crabs sounds good.. but i lazy to do so complicated dish le.. wah.. chili crabs with beaten egg inside n added tomato can go v well with plain rice!

re: hubby same same one hubby also not AUTO.. i gave up.. but will still complain. just like last nite b4 zz i was wide awake, told him i so tired of working etc (actually just want listening ear) but he kept quiet! i said hey! u dun hv anything to say to me? the rest no need to say liao... i said he is MU TOU!

my cousins who are in their 20s now, cant speak nor write chinese, but as kids growing in melb, my uncle brot them to learn chinese. both my uncle and aunt can speak, read n write chinese. but their 2 boys werent interested. now that they are in their 20s, 1 of them married a gal whose family were fm Penang, learning to some chinese and hokkien to talk to her ah ma!

having said that, keke.... moon n sun if they have their foundation years here might be beta :p
but diff kind of lifestyle if living in perth.
