i am toying with the idea of putting teng in full CC liao.. gosh. iam so fickle.. just cannot make up my mind! RP's Learning vision is irresistantly cheap. ha..

what snacks do you pack for A and RR?
i see some kids eating the same thing everyday i feel sorry for them
but YE's look interesting and one boy came and snatched the whole container from her! what audacity when i was just sitting there!
but i dunno whether the boy has special needs or just being naughty. so i let it be lah. the teacher will interfere. snacks are cheap anyway

ya, I regretted sitting in for the 1st 3 days. She'll know that you can do that then she won't let you go after that. If you don't go in with her from the very 1st day, you can tell her "mummy can't go in, it's only for children". Try not to peep too else you'll feel very upset to see her cry and vomit. Tell the principal/teachers to call you if she continues to cry for very very long. Usually they'll stop after 1-2 hrs of crying.

but the espirit stroller cannot sling on shoulder
so wondering if i should get one that can and easier to take bus (excuse. we take bus at most twice a month. sometimes not even in months!)

YE will adapt one.. no worries. She will cry like this for about 2 weeks or less.. yes, u have to go thru all the heart-breaking tears.. cry-till-vomit etc..

snacks for what timing? Breakfast, lunch and teabreak snacks will be different everyday mah. I'll usually just pack some biscuits for them in the bag in case I pick them after 5pm.

Pax posted about getting a Maclaren Daytripper at $98 at the Taka Fair so it got all of us excitedly lor. haha!!

i thank my lucky stars that i have all the time in the world for her to cry. imagine working full time and having to rush to work, i will be damn pissed!

oh.. it's to buy stroller huh. err, actually i find it strange le.. how come u all still buying stroller?? Our kids 2yrs old liao still take stroller? I hardly ever use my stroller now.. EV is using EJ's stroller (but we seldom bring EV out too)..

the CC does provide bf/snacks. whatever it is called
but at 9+/10am, every kid will sit down for a break. then they will drink their water and eat their biscuits or whatever lor.
so if i dun pack she would have nothing to eat wor

i saw your post about asking me to help collect your stuff.. i am ok, but problem is I dunno when I will go! haha.. it also depends on when AA is shifting.. cos I think BT is easier for me to go than Normanton. so if she shifts this week, then i can go by her place. We see how bah.

oh, cos for our CC will have breakfast at 8.30am then no break at 9+/10 cos lunch will be at 11.30am mah. YE will have lunch there?

cos sometimes I'll bring them go shopping then they'll still sit in stroller when tired/sleeping mah. Then my stroller quite worn out liao so thinking of getting another one. #3 can use also mah, hehe.

I feel tat the more we get angry at ourselves for punishing them not eating outside, the more they dont eat.
Sometimes they juz wan to self-feed or they prefer adult food.
Most of the time, I close one eye & give him edible food.
Dun b so stressed up wif her food intake, as long as one good meal at home is enuf.

ya, i am talking about those break-time snacks.. even that, the CC will provide le. YE's CC don't provide snacks at the 10am break? I think EJ's CC does, either bread or biscuits.. or YE's CC has but you want to bring your own?

AA, dont worry, when the kids get older, i think they will be more excited about school.

Actually, the last few days, me and HB will brainwash her abit. School is good, got friends to play and etc. So funny, she went in and greet "hello friend"

I agree with what Angel say.. don't be too stressed about food-intake for our kids. If EJ doesn't want to eat, I just let him be (but his papa will not) haha.. maybe that explains why EJ is so thin! :p but I think all kids will self-adjust one la..
 
CK: I've started doing that to Anna.. Tell her school is fun etc.. And on sats when she goes to shichida, we also tell her she's going to school. Not sure if she'll get the idea that one of us will always be with her or not.. :p Well... after reading all the experience the mummies here go through, I can prepare for the worst, yet hope for some surprises..

ok, actually i also think EJ's CC don't provide snacks at 10am. haha.. i have mixed it up.. but they do provide breakfast if you send in before 9am, and they do provide snacks in the afternoon at 330pm

mommies, last sat when i bring A to see doc for his cough & nose, i also asked him abt any thing to take to incr appetite. but do u know wat doc said? he asked me to guess how many % of children r fussy eaters in sg. i anyhow hamtam 80%... n i'm right! his advise is juz be patient n prepared tt 1/3 of parents will succeed in correcting their child's food intake. also try to make eating interesting.

she should be able to eat better in school, with peer pressure mah. RR will always finish whatever are given to them in school but they'll choose at home.

SQ, i not very experienced, so dont know the soft approach : )) CO is very sticky with me when i am around. The teacher said she behaves differently when i am not around.

keira's CC provide bf but only if you reaches b4 8.30am. coz after 8.30am, class will start.
lunch will be at 11+am. so no break time.
i dun pack any snacks too. coz by 11.30am, she wld have finish her lunch and time to go home.

keira was still crying last friday when i drop her off. like you said, coz i am working, i need to drop her and be out from the carpark by 10mins max.
her CC is close for spring cleaning today, so we will go only tmr. but i bet you, she will still cries. gd news is the teacher tells me she wil cry and stop in 10mins nowadays.
yesterday after GUG, at revenue house, i got her to pick up some brown leaves for art class on wednesday.
she was happily picking the leaves too and i count together with her. then last nite, printed out photos for her family theme piece.

hmmm ... think there's no soft approach leh. It's a matter of time you'll have to "dump" her there. You can't be sitting in forever. She'll bound to cry the day you don't sit in.
 
CK, RR: Ok.. I will remember this.. Will try to dump her there.. But a part of me is also curious lah. Want to know how she is, even if it means seeing her cry until very very chiam..

haha, RR will still cry sometimes when I drop them. But I realised they stopped crying the moment they don't see me (cos I peep at them from outside) So just cry to let me see only! :p

can stay around to peep if you can take it lah but if you are the soft-hearted type then better not else you'll be very much affected.

but it's hard to say, you know. I was expecting Reyes to cry (cos she's quite sticky to me) for very long but she didn't and it turned out that Reyden cried badly and for quite long.

Actually it's better not to pack additional/special snacks for YE.
I went to CCC tour tat time, i saw one boy have muffin & other kids eat plain sandwiches.
The boy got the 'haolian look' on his face when the aunty passed him his plate...machiam 'hmm, my mom bought this' look. haha..then other kids like saliving.
It's better to let the kids have the same standard so tat all feel equal. Dun worry, their schedules got snack time.

Keep yr snacks for weekends so tat she will treasure yr food more!
