i normally use syring. Normally dylan like all med. If he dun like we will force like forcing baby take med, cradle and head downwards.
Or tell A after take med give him his fav biscuit or sweet?
 
hi kaexin, last time I remembered u mentioned abt a brand of aloe vera cream/gel that is good. What's the brand can u recall?

Now Ash very good in spitting out med huh??? My boy too, i found a method but may sound cruel to you. i let xaiver lie down, and use a spoon to keep him tongue "tame", then i syring the med bit by bit..... The spoon helps to position his tongue so that he can't spit out the med. I hv to use this method, cos he's very smart in tasting the difference even if i put in milk or his food.

yah loh, my hubby exercise every week one leh.... sian! and if he stop exercise for 2 weeks hor, he will fall sick!!! sigh....

syringe from the side still can push out one, my boy very skill in this!!! he will use his tongue and push everything out, including his saliva! end up never take any med.

oh yes, I did 1 more thing, I pinch the nose, so that Xavier will open his mouth for me to syringe the med. After that i promise him his fav bear bear gummy!! ;p

hahaha... ay, i upgrade my skills together w my boy! Now i hv master the skill to feed med alone liao!!! initially needed 2 person lah, now i can manage alone liao... ;p

last time.. teng also. remembered? then always sceamed and shout then need 2 pple to force him down.. now different liao. open mouth willining to take from spoon .. and can tell u.. 'nice'.. or 'not nice' med.. i am quite amazed at this change in him..
i think ellie did the trick .. she tells teng.. 'bubbles'.. coz the medicine sometimes have air bubbles.. so he happily takes it!
hmm. sometimes he fusses.. then boh bian. syringe lor. but that boy not as skilled.. cannot push out. coz i really syringe beyond his tongue.. aiming towards the spaec between the teeth and cheeks.

yes, he does that, so intially i need my hubby to help me to pin him down... then i got inspire by the LN show, and manage to find a way to pin him down

Xavier also hv a short period where he will guai guai eat med... but later he decided to rebel and dun wanna guai guai eat liao, so i hv no choice but to use such force feed method loh

hmmm, cannot press down too hard lah.... basically is to place the spoon above the tongue, so that he cannot spit out med only lah.... of cos, he will use the tongue to push the spoon, then hv to gently place on top of th tongue again.... hahaha.... sounds very niche skillset right?? ;p

my gp here teach mi a veri good method to feed med.. use the stringe(how to spell?) aim the stringe at the back of the gum... meaning u poke the stringe right into the mouth... use another hand to feel at the cheek, aim the gums(wisdom teeth area) and press slowly... i m sure ur kids wont fuss and vomit...

i also used this method previously, he still can spit out... and best, he close his lips tightly, until i cannot even put anything inside his mouth!!! damn sian to feed him med one....

so far, i being blessed. coz k seem to like med, even the 2 antibiotics i gave her for 2 weeks. 8ml + 3.6ml in total. :p
syringe worked best, cmaybe you can tell him strawberry if red in color, orange if orange, green if apple.

envy mummies whose kids eat med so easily..... I always hv headache feeding med to Xavier. He's very smart, and i hv to think of ways of outsmart him... sigh!!! tiring!
 
mist, tian dun like medicines. I dun use syringe now cause no energy to struggle with her. i use spoon. i still feed her, then force her to swallow. she will scream a bit, then swallow. actually she knows it tastes nice la, but she still has to scream a bit and struggle a bit. after that i give her water. she will gallop water. but she will run away from me after seeing me taking out medicine.

wah, just woke up nia. super tired.

yvonne, i lost the sense of babies' ages. i tot 4 months old only, but very big size like ah bel last time. haha!! haha!!

Ash: It's a green packaging.. Looks to me like high class marmee biscuits though.. My ILs buy them, I can't be bothered to pay the premium.

Astro: I think they like biscuits cos it's like a snack to them. We don't give them any other snacks mah.. If you start to give them cholocates or potato chips, am sure they'll stop asking for biscuits. :p
