nana: i also tot it's exp when my hb exclaims tt day tt their passport so exp. now i asked again n he says there were other admin cost. :p all in all, we paid 700 plus to renew her contract bcos there's also insurance etc. hv not book her air tickets yet leh!

autum: btw, new passport takes abt 6 wks. so if u need it for a trip, beta start early in case any further delays. maid will also hv to take pics at the embassy cos the background is royal blue

yeah i know (about the 6wks). I intend to renew passport for maid on my own cos my case is a bit perculiar. cos my maid's passport will expire even before the 2yrs contract is up. her work permit is only 1yr 7mths because it's up to the maximum of her passort validity. So I need to renew her passport first.. and like u said, if i need to bring her to travel, I need the passport being renewed anyway (before her contract with me expired).. a bit complex.

For work permit, it's only $10 at MOM. Not sure about exit permit. Agency will charge us la.. because they need to earn mah.

just back from gynae.. in week 6 now (only meh? gosh..) and saw the heartbeat.. bb abt 0.43cm.. is that normal? cham, throw back all the preg facts i read LONG time ago.. think later going to do a check on the web see if this development is in-line.. *sigh*

still not very assured.. dunno what's wrong with me.. and Eunice Chua told me ok NOT to take fish oil now.. i told her i read abuut it for mood support.. she said she doesn't believe in it! ha! so interesting.. in any case.. she said i can still go ahead if i need it (do i need it ah? i think i need..?.. argh).. but as usual.. i do half strength. meaning 1 instead of the recommended 2.. and she prescribed me the multivits liao! omg! so big! how to swallow! *BLUE*!!!

work is not done.. i have one hour to complete one set of slides.. MISSION IMPOSSBILE!

psst.. last time.. when i was preg with Carbo.. i quit my job.. after giving birth.. sAHM for 2 years.. till i drove myself and everyone around me crazy.. just back to work.. can't possibly think of quiting again.. right? but i am! haiz..

QQ: Forgot what I want to say.. Let me go read your post again.. Good to know you're coping well. I want to say, I don't think you';l go back to work so soon. PT will give you MC, if he doesn't hospitalised you. So if you have urgent work, can start to think of who to delegate the job to.

I can move my furnitures into the storeroom and the bedrooms (they will do the bedrooms 1st) then stay at chalet till everything complete so at least won't be too noisy and dusty for RR.

re: toilet training
Her diapers were dry most of the time and she'll ask us to change each time she pees. Anyway I just happened to try out cos of the HFMD blisters on her bum then I realised she's actually ready. Ya, she went to school in panties, I didn't let her wear that underwear that comes with the uniform, it's too big for her.

I find that pix very cute too, Reyes saw me sleeping on the sofa bed so she wanted to follow. Then tired Daddy went to sleep on her cot lor. haha!!

Finally RR are back to CC ... In fact Reyes went back yesterday liao. Had wanted to send them back next Mon but I'm so tired for these 2 weeks. Backaching and starting to feel giddy, think cos didn't get enough rest. Plus later still have to go to new place to check some reno work. Anyway glad that they didn't cry this morning, in fact they were so happy to go back to school.

mummies, just to share something amusing.. EJ has a Japanese girl friend! haha..

This mornin when i sent EJ to school, his teacher told me that there is a Jap girl that EJ is very close to. This girl just joined in January and they are now best friends. The girl's name is Anzu. I saw her this morning. Quite cute.

Then another amusing story. There are 2 new students in EJ's class.. and they are siblings.. Elder boy and younger sister. The funny thing is, the elder boy is the one who kept crying while the younger sister just sits there ok.. the teacher told me, in fact the younger sister tells his kor-kor not to cry! What is amusing this morning was, when I got there, the boy was crying.. and he wants to be carried..

then he saw me, he came and cling on to my legs! after i pass EJ to the teacher, this boy kept crying and clinging to me, so I carried him! and he cling on to be like koala bear! so weird right.. then when i want to leave he cried even louder and refused to let go as if I am his mother! I finally hand him over to a teacher.. then this EJ saw all these right.. he looks a bit funny/weird.. so I think he is processing in his brain why his mummy carry another boy etc.. then when I finally want to leave, EJ cried!! aiyoh..

there's a N1 gal in RR's school who will always call me "Mummy" everytime she sees me too. Think these are the "confused" kids. haha!! I wonder if our kids will do that to the other mummies or not ... :p
 
RR: how's reno cost nowadays? i want to do up A's room, tv console & part of my bedroom. A's room is the tough one cos must make sure can fit wardrobe, shelves & bed for him & maid

QQ, no joke but i made a BIG wu1 long2 yesterday wor.. dunno can make u luff (at me) or not. yesterday i called 999, coz i saw a man who looked like mas selamat sitting at my blk void deck and tot i shld be civic minded and do my part as a citizen mah..

wah.. then like very dua3 zong like dat 4 policemen came, 2 plain clothes inspectors.. but when they came the man disappeared liao, so they took my statement and did a search in the area.

half hr later, 2 plain clothes inspector from internal security dept came up to my house and asked me to identify the photos of 2 men they found. i identified 1 of them. and turn out, the man i saw is the town council cleaner!!! wahahhahahahha!! i nvr seen him before coz he was just trf here. i feel so pai say and malu and bad for wasting everybody's time

err, u speed-read too fast.. the Jap is a girl and EJ's new best friend. The boy who clinged onto me is another person.. not Jap. hee.. ok, for the chair.. good that you have informed your colleague, so i will just leave it there.

no la.. aiya, it's the 2nd time in 2 days I sms wrongly when I want to sms my hubby, it went to someone else. cos what happens is, my handphone has this function that it will go to a list of the last 3 contact persons whom I sms with UNLESS I straightaway press address book. Then because my handphone is touch-pad, so it's sensitive and sometimes i 'touch' too fast using my thumb.. so the sms got sent out to the last sms-contact person.

and because yest we sms a couple of times over the collection, so you were part of the last 3 contacts (for sms).. so the sms went out to you. I had meant to scroll down to my hubby's contact. hope you understand what i am saying!

hmm, actually i was initially very surprised this morning why the boy cling on to me, because the boy was not chinese! it's a bit complicated. when I saw the siblings, I had already thought how come they are both in the Playgroup class.. unless they are just one-year-apart.. but they don't look one-year-apart to me. seems like just a few months apart.

then, I had thought the boy is Indian.. but he is not dark at all, in fact very fair. So maybe mix.. but he and the girl (sister) don't look alike.. then when i carry him, he has the Indian smell (no offence to any Indians) so I really thought he is Indian boy.

then, just now I was on the phone speaking to a teacher in the school. cos I wanted to arrange for EJ's party tomorrow.. anyway, since i was on the phone, i asked the teacher how is the boy and what is his name. The teacher gave me a chinese name! and the sister also has a chinese name. So i was very surprised! I told the teacher I thought they are Indians or mixed.. and the teacher said the parents are chinese... err.. so now I am wondering.. maybe the mummy is chinese.. so the boy cling to me?

oh well.. i think i am also kaypoh la.. but genuinely puzzled.
