there are so many things to worry about as a parent. Whether Reyden's colourblind, whether Reyes has dyslexia & etc ... haha!! Think as long as they are happy and growing well now, the rest we'll just wait and see lah.

RR: Yah lor.. The examples of not being able to tell "b" and "d" and reading mirror images etc are forms of dyslexia. There are varying degrees too. Tom Cruise or one of the famous actors also has this right? And claims Scientology "cures" him of it?

RR: Speaking of colorblind.. I also wonder if Anna is colorblind. She'll mix up her green and blue and red.. Most times, she says a blue object is green. And if I then point to a green object, she'll either say green or worse, red!
Agree with you.. We can only do so much, and whatever outcomes, we have to accept..

AA,
RR couldn't differentiate colours too. They'll mixed up all the colours and tell me the wrong one.
I'm concerned whether Reyden's colourblind cos I am. And that time they mentioned if a mother's colourblind, high chances that the son is too.

"[edit] Creativity, arts, business
Dyslexic people often have a natural flair for one or more of the arts such as music, dance, drawing or acting. Dyslexic people also often possess a natural ability to see patterns in noise, producing creative abstract ideas pulled out of what many would look upon as mundane sensory environments[citation needed].

A study has found that entrepreneurs are five times more likely to be dyslexic than average citizens[48]."

oh! back to this topic of skipping crawling and jumping to walking again! ok. now that i have 'been thru it'.. maybe i can share a bit on how i feel and my realisation from this matter? as well as some PD advice?

AA: dun worry.. remembered teng was also like that? and i dun think he is that jialat as ur fren put it.. sometimes.. the more we try to stop it. the more 'agony' we caused ourselves.. i am speaking from the perspective of someone who has been thru it.. but thankfully teng didn't turn out that way.. yet.. the more i want him to crawl. the more pressure i put on my family and him.. and so the more u want to stop something from happening.. the more stress u are going to put on urself and ayden. if it is meant to happen. it will happen..
remembered i kept pestering the PDS.. three of them in fact.. they all told me.. it is normal.. though they do acknowledge there are divided camps on this issues.. some said it should be a continual spectrum.. some don't view it that way..
my own view. yes skipping crawling is not favoured. coz it makes u 'slower'. coz u need to be able to crawl to be able to push urself to sit up and stand up etc.. it is in human development range.. to crawl first then to right downself up to walk lah..
but i dun see how we can stop someone from walking first then crawl.. coz really.. it was so stressful..that time.. haiz..
teng has very strong legs like ayden!he could stand very firmly on his foot when we support him even as an infant of 2 mths old..

i have a colleague here.. whose girl is not crawling yet..1 year plus liao. same case like teng.. but unlike teng who wants to walk unaided. that girl freezes and does not want to cruise also.. he is taking it easy.. and said.. everyting will go smoothly.. that chap is a laywer .. always impressed with his attitude of 看破红尘 kind..he is just enjoying being with his girl..
looking back. i ought to be like him more.. teng turned out fine mah! ha.. the old gingers here (ops.siam ;P) are a lot meaner!

The cake is around 1.5kg or so.
I still have 1/2 of it in the fridge; find it rather sweet cos I ordered double fudge choc.
*Sinful*

Actually, the baker self make the name sticks & #2 candle holder; helps me to save on those expensive #2 candle! Hahaha..I can actually insert a small candle into the #2 holder.
