nana, lol! Last yr bel got a piglet cake from bangawan solo. Very nice. This year she got za ba lang cup cake from crystal jade with pooh theme. I just told pax i wan to buy the alphabet candles for bel. Den thinking she only 2yo, cannot put 6 candles la! So wierd. She will have difficulty blowing. Lol! I will shelve this 6letters candles for her 6yo birthday. Hee!

Cuz hb and myself not into birthday celebrations kind mah, so never have any celebrations for YT when she is one. Besides, we dun think she will remember or understand what it is all about that time. This year, my MIL HINT (almost outright suggest) that we should get her a cake cuz she said that she will sing happy birthday even when she feed her some normal cake.

just now i went to suntec again. Pass by the famous durain puff shop. Their cup cake is very beautiful. But price very ex. Between 3 to 5 dollars. Their wedding one very nice. How i wish i can go thru another wedding celebration, i wan the layer layer cup cakes. Lol. Mad already.

are u still here? I just posted that PG increased price la.. nothing much. I tempted to get PG also cos i know they are nice to eat.. but design wise, nothing very special leh. Your design this year will be how?
The black-forest from PG is good? then I think i want to order that cos it's cheaper.. haha.. it's $33 per kg, the other flavours are $36/kg. dunno why.

mejo, hazelnut mix with the sticky chewy choc? Den u wont taste the hazelnut flavour liao. Cos the choc is too strong. Will over ride the taste of hazelnut. (i feel la) cos normally i eat, after i eat the choc, i eat lime or vanilla to clear the taste. Den eat hazelnut. U understand wad i mean? Lol.

Pax: ya my 2 tier is 2kg. see above post to Autum. I dunno who ordered SO leh.. i tried their cake at my fren's kid 1 yr old party, it looks really good, in terms of details and all but the taste, CMI leh. not nice. think if u go for SO, its more for the looks rather than the taste.
garfiled: i feel that for PG they are generally ok, i feel that when we are very critical and particular about how we want our cake design to turn out, most of the time, the shifu cannot match up to our expectation and thats where we feel they screw up. So for this yr, i leave it entirely to the cake shifu, he can deco how he wants it, i just told them its for girls and i want it colourful..hehehe i think i will like the cake this yr too.
