"Dan" is Gall bladder. it stores bile which is needed for oil emulsifying action in the stomach. if no gall bladder, the bile is not stored and "discharged" directly into the stomach from the liver..

there are many diff strains of HFMD. not all strains will cause fever. Rae's HFMD i think was quite serious. USUALLY low grade fever, followed by bilsters on hand, feet, buttocks then finally mouth. having said that, it's not everytime all the symptoms will come out. did a lot of research on this when Jo's CCC had HFMD outbreak last Sep, also asked my PD, a GP and the experienced school teachers. hope this helps

irin: ya what pax say is correct, when rae had it, she only had the mouth ulcers and it all came overnite. her feet and palms no blisters which was quite funny. has she had any heaty food lately? is hat what caused the blister in mouth? or she bite herself. try and narrow down and then see if its possible to be HFM.

last time it was my 1st preg, my mil also quite good la, make soup and chiong all the way to pass to me. now cannot le. haha! its no longer tha 1st grandchild, not as important anymore la.

my mum also very sweet..every weekend insist to cook porridge for leia. she asked my dad to go market and he bought a big fish! they split into small pack of fish + pork. insist that i cook porridge with it plus carrot everyday.

pink, i think my mil was kancheong spider last time. and she was very free. fil';s health was ok too! so she likes to come to singapore cause most children (3 out of 4) are here. then she has thousands of reasons to come visit her children mah. haha!

mommies.. i made up my mind to close shop.. in my heart, i wan #3, mr pax not keen. today we spent the whole day at home. i was spending more time with M, then with Jo. she was quite destructive n i beat her hand for throwing her milk cup away (luckily only a few drops left). she said pain
when i was putting her to sleep, i became upset w myself for (1) beating her (2) not spending enuf time w her. if i hv #3, she will be even more neglected than now. so no more. close shop liao.
on the other hand, she'll be vv vv happy if she has a little one to help look after. when i saw her w my friend's little boy, kept helping to pat and puttin pacy back into his mouth, xin ruan le.

frankly im kinda happy with my lifestyle now. with a maid, i can steal time to go shopping and do things i want, go mid nite movies but all my frens told me i have to be fair to Leia...

today. he copied miser.. coz he threw something on the floor..when he was packing up something.. then miser said '腾腾，轻轻放'.. then teng immediately copied.. the first 4 characters.. then i was waiting for him to say fang leh.. then he got all distracted.. and thew the things on the floor again. and as he does that.. he shouts ''腾腾，轻轻放!' ... wah liew..:S

how high is her fever now? if >38.5, beta wake her up to take brufen. followed by paracetamol 6hr since the last dose. u r right. Dr Ong also said paracetamol n brufen belong to 2 diff families, so can take at one after the other if fever dun come down and the correct time interval.

it's comfort zone lah. Sometimes I also think I'm pretty comfortable and happy with my current lifestyle. If #3 comes along then we'll definitely need a maid and we got to think about the finances too. But after awhile the thought of a happy big family comes back again, hehe.

and today.. took my chiffon trays.. and bang them against one another.. nana like crashing the cymbals.. so cute! he so happy. 'marching around the house' crashing the cyymbals.. hahah. must be the marching band influence he had while in the tummy! hahahahha..
