lol... cos the chinese medical hall recommend this for babies... so i bought it liao.. lol... now my whole room smell like those oil... but no more piggy sound from bel... i think should be ok? cos the box says from age 3mth onwards...

hehe, weekends is alway slow, no need to read lots of archives. :p

Me and HB brought RR to the zoo today and OMG!! It was terribly crowded. Not sure whether is it cos SG Power's having their family day event there or cos weekend.

Think got to make reservations for lunch at restaurant else we might end up without a place to eat. We couldn't get seats at indoor/outdoor restaurants and KFC. Ended up having lunch outside after the trip. Luckily RR had their lunch before we went.

I went courts today n look at fridges etc too..wah soo many too choose from very confusing!
but fridge hor i dun like to buy those stainless steel one, cos one dent very obvious.

cant rem which one my sis says dun buy..either ariston or electrolux.

i got extended warranty for our toshiba a/c when we got it last yr. we bot fr gain city. abt 400 more, but we think quite worth...
yes, fridge dun go for stainless steel if got kids..

Fridge - GE - 2 door, got it cos i want the stainless steel look. dunno what is the cap but fridge is taller than me.. this is my min requirement for fridge, must be taller than me. another good brand to recommend is ariston
Cooker chimney: go for ariston, bets price in the market for nice looking chimney, if u can look out in the papers, they haave like warehouse sale every twice a year, u can wack there cos price a lot cheaper.
Washing machine/dryer - Elba ( think ist european brand) , mine is front load, i like stanless steel drums over the plastic top load kind, but take note for front load, u need to use low sud washing poser, dynamo has a low sud one. Pls make sure ur wsher and dryer is seperate unit, dun get the 2 in one kind, if one break down, will affect the other hor. but dryer "eats" lots of electricity.
Aircon - Fujitsu - bad experience with my fujitsu, or maybe cos i was away fro 3 ys, one of the unit went crazy and i had to disable the circuit board, cos it takes $500 just to replace the circuit board. dunno what brand i should change next, oh and dun hide ur trunking behind ur cupboard unless ur aircon man is very good in fixing, if trunking leak over time, u have to tear down ur cupboard to fix.
Oven - my cheap cheap on, $55 Morris.
my cooker is a glass top cooker, turbo.. so far so good, i like and its easy to clean to cos its glass top.
 
yvonne, u dun pour the whole capsule lah, use half if the smell is too strong, anyway u preggy now so ur nose super sensitive lah.

i wonder if this mitsubishi aircon is good..my national one is no good le.

i like big fridges :p pete argued no stuff to put buy so big for wat? i replied put tidbits lor..ben & jerrys lor :p

for approx say family of 4...should i get a min 6-7kg washer? cos i saw got 5.5kg ones i think abit small hor??i will want to get dryer cos next time my new hse NO SUN le..
 
Belle: 5.5 kg is quite sufficient leh, u can do a few more load lor, or u forsee ur laundry a lot?
ya i like big fridge too.. the bigger the better... haha, i even wanted those see through glass kind at seven eleven where they store the can drinks, my hb say i siao.
my fren had mitsubishi aircon, they saw not too bad, price not that high too.
ya and get a seperate dryer and washer, dun get a 2 in 1 unit, if 1 dies on u, it will affect the other, thomson is a good washer brand, but they are expensive lah, dun buy the thomson, top load, stainless steel drum washer cum dryer, that model not good, have heard a few case where it broke down a few times.

yeah just now we saw a 2 in 1 at courts..so ex! 2.5k+..my coll also advises agst getting a 2 in 1.

urm now we wash chloes & our clothes separate la.. norm i wash max 3x a wk...i wash on alternate days. hv u heard of this tekka? i think its ex...

oh oh forgot to ask, if seldom cook can i skip on cookerhood?? i heard its noisy & chor deng..one at least cost 500 up.
 
mommies... i have stop bel from eating pacifier... today is the 3rd day she nv eat... also she nv ask... tt means she no need pacifier already? or after she have recovered, she will ask again?
 
pax: what is this kungfu panda merchandise on the tuppers new catalogue, can't see it leh.. dunno iist cos page 4 and page 10 is broken link. they have a kungfu panda snadwich keeper?
 
yvonne: dunno about ur paci question, can't help cos rae dun take paci, but i think once u wean off, she prob won't ask for it unless she sees itr again, so u better keep it out of her sight.

belle: the cookerhood is to stop the grease from going up the ceiling, its very helpful, even if u seldom cook, i think better to install, if not, everytime u do cook, u ahve to clean the entire area above the cooker.. and if u have cupboard above ur cooker, lagi worst cos prolong exposure to heat will weaker the structure there. the ariston one i think u can get for less than $500 thats why i saw ariston cookerhood is cheap. u wait for warehouse sale, think u can get it around $200 plus.

belle: oh no DTA ah.. hehe ya ya i think mean the same, we do print stuff as well. so we have studio area where the DT artist will convert the file and make it to a FA ready for print and then we will send to our printer lor. they were hiring quite a lot of ppl so i just tot of pete and see if he is still looking to change his current job.
 
belle: i think experience is more important than actual formal training, Hey if he is keen, u get him to prepare his resume, i forward to our head of traffic. i will PM u her details and my off email now.
 
belle: there is this shop at bukit batok that i frequent, they sell electronic goods very very cheap. this was contact passed to me from my fren, i will go Harvey, courts, best etc and survey the actual item i want, then i copy down the model number and give to this shop, their price is at least 30% lower than the Best, harvey prices.. same for aircon, i got my fridge, washer and dryer and TV there. but i cannot find the contact liao, dunno where i put it. maybe u can ask around.

It happened to YT once also. But at the ankle. Her ankle totally swollen. It does take quite sometime to subside and then the skin very ugly looking also, bumpy bumpy.

realise i have all sorts of brands in my house.

1. aircon - mitsubishi starmex
not cold, i think something went wrong in the piping..

2. TV- Toshiba Regza - no complaints so far, we seldom watch TV
- sharp small- so far so good

3. Fridge - samsung, so far so good, i like it cos of the mirror door.

4. washing machine LG- simple one, so far so good

5. electronic cooker - toshibi, cna cook congee, cook rice...all in 1, i like

pete stays in bt batok..but he never heard of le..if got the blk no. can ask my MIL go check out..opp ikea got 2 shops i heard..they mention in the bridal forum too.
