hi everyone..
just here.. i slept the whole day. damm tired! teng woke up and sat up every 30 mins last night. eh eh a bit. then put him down, he sleeps again.. haiz.. but at GUG this morning.. he was very happy. put him beside me , u see a contrast. i looked so sleep deprived! this boy! haiz...
Linda: ur EDM here liao ah? SOO fast?! I remembered u ordered together at abt the same time
as SQ so I think SQ's arriving soon..

I think we wait for all the mums to receive, then we can hold the workshop liao? Saffy, what ya think? think might just hit nicely, the brief august hols for us too. kekeke...

hmm...my preliminary 'diagnosis' is not that teng wants to sleep later or he is needing less sleep.. and also he has been sleeping later liao. his bed time has been pushd gradually to 7.30pm.. and then he will sleep all the way to 7am .. very nicely.. (as with GF).. so why he has been like that puzzled me.. and even when he slept , after all the fuss, he still wakes up early!
yesterday night.. ifferent. he KO very fast.. after 15 mins of brief crying.. and he was very tired.. not like he dragon or what.. wants to play. he seems to be resisting to go to bed BUT still tired AT THE SAME time.. in the day, he didn't sleep that much anyway.. only two hours and one nap.. so can't be cutting down on sleep mah..
i was surfing some sites.. and happened to read about toddlers at this age, trying to assert their independence and resisting going to bed .. and if not managed properly.. (as in we allow them to).. they get notti.. and a fixed sleeping bedtime battle and late hours gets establshed. and def as u can anticipate, it gets drainig for th eparents.. and not good for the toddlers.. singaporean kids already get too little sleep liao..
SO.. i am actually 'glad' that teng starts his bed time 'battle' earlier at abt 730 (time he sleeps).. then he dramam mama, average one hour, these three days.. then FINALLY sleeps at 8 plus.. can't imagine he is late sleeper then dramam mama till dawn?! wah liew!
anyway. i hope this is just a phrase.. he seems to be peaking in seperation anxiety because he gets upset if i switch off the lights. maybe he knows sleeping liao. and i will 'leave' him.. (i read it peaks at 18 mths!) . start of the T2? oh well..haiz.
miser's laptop.. the keyboard arragement is soooo.. 'weird'.. it doesn't feel right .. his mobile devices.. all so lousy one!

titu: teng is FINALLY giving up his bottle! u give him milk in bottle.. he drinks ony 20 ml then dun wnt liao. put it in cup, he finishes all! great! so now like ah seth.. he 'lim kopi' style his milk as he has his breakfast! cute! Ellie tried it.. good.. she knows how to improvise things

hmm this says.. toddlers refused to sleep at this age becoz they are going through a developmental spurt! seemed to match my prior knowledge that at abt 18mths or so. they have another growth spurt..ok, ..i hope this is it.. accounting for teng's naughtiness

teng is asleep! just eh eh a bit leh. got improvement..keke..
actually. miser brought him into the darkened room, he already startin to cry.. then i on music, fan and everything. then asked miser leave the room.. then i sat down and let carry him in my lap.. then he sucked sucked thumn and immediately quietened down.. then got drowsy liao! within 5 minutes.. then before he is totally asleep. i transffered him to cot. and now he is asleep! wah .no drama mama leh!
i hope he stays asleep!
then i told ellie.. she told me. ya.. she now realised.. same thing happening for these past few days.. teng will refuse to lie down.. but when she 'manually' sit him down..then he will get drowsy and sleep liao!.. those were the days which i told u gals.. teng rejected everyone but onli 'wanted' her! wah. seems like got connection leh..
anyway. if this repeats again for tomorrow.. then i know liao. time for teng to sleep. but he is 'notti'.. want to drag. but as he drags. he gets even more over tired.. and then drama mama liao lor..!

u mean u only had those hotpot stuff daily? hmm for mine i hv a good rotation of food during our 8 days with Cxx...we had bbq meat, the korean ginseng chicken, seafood hotpot, fish hotpot, 'ABALONE' porridge, bimbimbap..i abit sian of the hotpot n rice though its healthy la.. oh did that XX tours ask for tips from your tour grp? till now hor i was telling hubby abit funny for them to ask for tips n specify HOW MUCH PER PAX le..i was told this is NORMAL..i blur lee tot all payment INCLUSIVE in our tour pkg ma...then end of tour my korean tour guide will ask for tips for driver, guide + our local sg guide one le..

my gal KO at 10pm tonight... 1 hr later than the past... she must somersault in bed and don't want me to rock her, want to lie on bed so she can somersault... also refuses my twinkle twinkle little star actions to "hynoptise" her...
think must find her new sleeping patterns but won't let her go out of bedroom even if she don't want to sleep... good thing is she still waves her daddy good nite and walk into the bedroom herself when i tell her it's time to zzz... maybe cos i usually ask her if she wants to sleep already and she will reply "arg" as in yes....

pink, yes anthea ate watever we eat. luckily i din try to cook coz there was no chance at all! bintan sounds gd for a first trial! go for it!
blur, we had wat u had but sian leh.. coz mostly kimchi, every veg is kimchi kaoz... i had a kimchi overdose!! and the ginseng chicken, bibimbab all not nice one. maybe its too local for our liking, we still prefer crystal jade one hahahaha!
ya, tour guide tips is written black and white lor! 40,000 won for 8 days for the local guide, spore guide and driver. and on top of that we pay another 37,000 won per pax for 2 extra meals that are not included in the package. the korean guide claimed that it was inconvenient for us to find food at those places and assumed we wld pay for the extra meals! this amt also includes a cable car ride up to mt sorak. i find that its a bit of a ripped off lor!!

ya i was quite sick of the SOUP food daily too.. i dun really fancy kimchi le.but i ate alot of the seaweed hehe. the tips hubby & i paid abt close to $70-90 for both of us le.. yes that reminded me..we also hv to pay for 2 meals NOT in the pkg..our tour guide cited the same reason.that we will hv prob finding our food cos of language blah blah..so she will help to arrange etc wat choice do we have rite? we didnt go mt sorak cos was very windy that day..

YE has the Nuby bottle with the non-spill spout at the mouth piece (vs some of the designs, the non-spill function is at the foot of the bottle).
she has been biting her straw and a piece came off, so i need replacement. but i haven't been able to find any at the shops!
the ones i saw only has the replacement for the colorful dora bottles, not the plain nuby. am i correct?
joelle, yvonne and i can't rem who else uses that.

blur, looks like its the same regardless of travel agent huh... and seems like the tips practice has become a norm liao coz it was the same when we took the taiwan package few yrs back.
now i am planning for another F&E trip to bangkok! jetstar has $20 air tic (excluding tax $180)!! but will only go if my parents are going. i felt so guilty for not bringing them to korea with us. they came to send us off (they nvr did when we previously travelled! so obviously its for anthea!). and i really felt like crying when we entered the transit lounge and saw them waving bye to us from outside.. feel so so guilty...
