recently too bz & tired to read & post. me due next week 12Jan, hmmmm should aim for 11Jan, then Kaelyn and this 2nd one can have the same Bday, ha! ha! ha!.....

because that junior is going to deliver abt tat time, my MIL held a Bday party for Kaelyn on the 1st Jan, tho her bday is on 11Jan. kaelyn is extra 'sticky' these few months, is Rachael like tis when you ve your 2nd one?

Don't worry too much abt Rachael and CC. Kaelyn also like this in the begining. Did u ask the teacher in charge why she cry? Kaelyn cried because she got bully by other in her old CC, snatched her toys, some teachers also talk very loud and ignore her. Now in the new CC, she is much better. U can observe whether she like or dislike any teacher when you bring her to school. Kaelyn shun away from teachers she don't like, and is willing to carry / lead by teacher she like into her play area.

if her stay in the CC is rough, when u fetch her home, bring her her fav toy or food, make her home going trip more happy and also help to calm down her the rest of the evening. If by the 3rd month still like this, may b should consider change CC. i felt that CC has great impact on Kaelyn's learning and emotion development. I saw diff between the 1st CC and the 2nd one. Even her temperment changed with the CC teachers handling her.

thank you very much. I do hope the gynae does not bluff me though...

Gynae asked me how old i am when she is doing scanning for me... she said I can give birth to maybe 2 more before 35!! I said I gonna stop at 2.
Then she asked, 1st one is a boy.... after that she scan.... scan... she said... OK you can stop at 2 now!!
I said, err, see where? Then she said see nothing lah... here nothing mean gal lah....

Going to have detailed scanning on 29th January. Juz nice... I am having a CNY break until 1st Feb 2009!

Good Morning Mummies.

Very disappointed with Rachel's current child care center.

When Rachel joined this CC. I was told that there will only be 14-16 Tods. And there will be 2 teachers.

Now end up with 18 Tods & is still 2 teachers.

How are they going to take care so many kids.

bfast at 8.30am. lunch at 10.30am. milk time at 12.30pm.

This arrangement, is it permanent or temporary? Are they going to employ more teachers? I just checked under MCYS guidelines, the stipulated child:staff ratio for 18-30months old should be 1:8. Quite apart from that they are not meeting the guidelines at the moment, are they able to provide the sufficient levels of care to Rach? Is that why Rach is unhappy at the centre?

hui, for appletree they have no restrictions as to how long you can stay (only 1 person regardless of parent/grandparents/maid etc). A few of the kids are alright without company already... sigh!
