I know it's risky, cos when JT got fever, dunno if its due to the jab or the virus. But bo bian lor... cos hubby say his mum might not be able to cope. Then I remembered tat time JT cry only she cry and call us for help, if JT has fever, she will call us in the middle of the nite also... and then it'll be back to square one. So for everyone's sanity, I better take care of JT myself. I took care of her, not hubby, cos hubby also not 100% recovered. So last sat, the whole family was having fever lor.... faintz rt? I was hoping that the antibodies in the breastmilk will protect JT from the virus.... so far she looks ok, crossing my fingers.

ok ok, I want to go out liao, its sooo hot staying at home. Yesterday evening, I think I nearly kenna heatstroke from staying at home. My princess was happily sleeping in her air-con room while her maid aka mummy was slogging in the kitchen, until I keep feeling thirsty and felt faint, until I drank iced water and went into her room then I felt better.
Think maybe we go out next week bah, to ensure that I'm virus-free

I rented a bumbo for JT. but her thighs will get stuck when we pull her out of the seat Here's a pic of her shocked looked when we 1st put her in the seat. Now she looks even more like boy boy liao, thanks to MIL who went to trim her hair without my knowledge!!!

not really a new method. she buys "new rice" (xin1 mi3), grind it then cook porridge for madeleine. but those grains r not iron fortified, so will need to supplement with something, most likely fm n egg yolks.

Bloom, not much diff actually, ang moh way as we read from books is to use cereal as first foods for weaning but traditional way which i believed most of us are weaned using porridge cooked till very mashy.

Ladies, i found a place selling earth best cereal at 10% off normal price...Bot Healthy Times Barley cereal as i afraid Evee dun like plain whole cereal. May try on her this weekend, now she having bad ezcema outbreak dunno if due to potato or the pool water

have to use steriod again!

JT LOOKS chubby only, but in fact she is only 6.86kg at 4.5mth, still 500+g away from doubling her birth weight. Think she is the only bb here tat can't double her birthweight at 5th mth...I think my BM not nutritous enough, and on top of that, she is totally not interested in milk nowadays.... sigh....
Oh my god!! Poor Kate!! Your hubby is really quite careless leh.... I was wondering how come her nails are so sharp can scratch until so jialat.... poor girl.....
Brown rice is more nutritous as it includes the husk that contains a lot of vitamin B which is absent in white rice. New rice is actually newly harvested white rice. It contains more moisture so it is easier to soften when cooked. Most people buy it to cook porridge. Normally it'll be written xin1 mi3 outside the packaging.

JT also likes her bumbo now esp after I put it on the coffee table then she can see a lot of things, so she's very happy. JT is only fleshy at the thighs cos she takes after me. Hands and body skinny skinny, but have a big bum and thighs..... haiz......

Thank goodness Sophia is better. Last week, the paed also prescribed a urine test for Regina (to see if her poor weight gain is due to any infections), but I haven't got down to doing it yet. Need to buy urine collection bags from the pharmacy, and then locate a lab to do it. We have not managed to find the lab...

As for the Babycook, the only way I can get it to Singapore is to send by post or shipping. Even then, u need to change the power plug because the one that comes with it now is 3 round pins in a straight row type.

It might just be the hot hot weather that trigger the eczema for evee....Currently re-feeding her Chinese meds again but there is still some spots on the face not solved, and once I stop the meds I suspect the eczema will come back again.... sighhhhh..hb will scream if i buy some more cream, cos already got like 5 types of cream for kate at home just for eczema...

dora explained the differences between the rice types liao. brown rice is more difficult to digest, so it's generally recommended only at abt 6mths of age. new rice u can get fr those shops that still sell rice by weight.

smtm I feel so silly tt hv to carry the bb while hubby push/carry the stroller. This is the concern why he delayed the purchasing. But I told him we have to do it or never. Cos my niece was so used to carrying and as young as 4mths she refused to sit in her stroller. Everytm we put her in, she will cry and show a torturing face.

.....Ppl alway mistaken my boi as a 8-9mths BB lor. He is 8.4kg at 5mths 2week which is 60th percentile. Nurse say he slightly above average. But he dont really drink alot leh. 150ml every 2-3hr and 7 feed per day.

Drapolene works for JT's eczema if it's still very mild. So must catch very early, any signs of redness must quickly apply then it'll go off. If let it flare, then cannot work liao.

Yah it's quite depressing to hear such remarks.. Then some even ask me to intro FM to my gal which i dont intend to do so. My PILs say my gal will grow bigger & faster when we intro solids so no need to worry.. So long as my gal is growing there is no cause for alarm. I think Jovey feels that his fingers are really tastier than the cereal... hee hee.... and 150ml x 7 feed is a lot!!! (at least to me) i make 180ml x 5 feeds for my ger and she can't even finish most of the time. leave about 40 to 50ml behind... but i still insist on making 180ml each time!!! muahahaha...

it's normal lah... at the beginning hor, my stroller also used to put things instead of bb... so u can see my hb pushing a stroller filled with diaper bags & grocery bags... then the mummy carry the bb. "Hi Class" trolley!!!

but i keep using still lor, now she's used to it, can sit for longer period... heng
