PRECISELY! when she makes mandy cry, she says nt to worry. when we're trying 2 let her sleep n she fusses a bit (which bb doesn't fuss b4 sleeping n mine usu falls asleep immed after fussing, ie if no one disturbs her) she'll nag n nag n said she wants 2 b carried, shldn't let her cry like tt... haiz...
btw, e bk just says put ina saucepan to heat up lor..

ha! my mum just spoke 2 mandy rite in front o her face n she was having a bad flu! tt was in front o sooooo many relatives, me n hubby dun dare say anything. sometimes feel q useless hor, cos we can even protect our bb. 2 loved ones, 2 protect one, u'd hurt e other.... haiz...

my mum oso. tt time visiting mandy in e special ward, asked her 2 wash hand, she oso buay kam wan. somemore she premmie mah. in e end, she just yi si yi si rinsed water nia. i told her i wanna feed mandy n turned 2 wash my hand. i's sooo looking 4ward 2 bottlefeeding her. i turned ard, my mum already carried mandy n feeding her liao. i's trying hard nt to burst into tears...

wah. that woman soooo annoying and low-class leh. i'm quite hopeless when it comes to situations like tt. always not sure what to do. but if wanna hit my child, i'd definitely retaliate! like tt time when hb and i brought jared to the playground and two older kids were bullying jared there. hb was so fierce lor. scolded them. coz when jared tried to climb up the slide, they blocked him and wanted to push him.
but i think the others are right too. we shouldn't lower our standards to waht they do. so mei you jiao yang. right?

oh. now i know what your frustrations are. a bit tough especially if they are resisting what we have to tell them... my mum also like tt sometimes. then i tell her, 'you send me to study so much for what? gain knowledge right? i share with you and teach you you don't want to learn, then i study for what?' usually she backs off after tt. then once in a while, i have to say it again. hehe.
with parents it can be difficult coz if we jiang ta men, they get quite pissed tt we are like telling them what to do. they think they eat salt more than we eat rice so more knowledgeable lor...

*pat pat*... i know your frustrations... happens to most of us i guess. My family members does tat too... my bro like to tempt my ger with funny food... bak gua, peanut butter... watever he's eating, he'll bring near to her & let her lick lick lor..
i used to be very frustrated and worse case is u can't tell them wat to do... coz they'll tell u that they are parents too... a bit neber mind...
now i learn to ignore & "ren"... then everyone's happier...
we dun have a choice most of the time... so many pple around us tat we have to deal with... if we get so frustrated everytime, we'll shorten our own life span!!!

Same situation, my hair's still dropping like crazy. It's amazing I'm not bald yet. About china folks, I do agree with Bloom lah, a lot of them are rather rude and pushy, but there are some 'enlightened' ones around. One of my neighbours in Singapore is a shanghainese family and they are quite friendly and helpful... hmm, they are probably a minority, but hey, at least we know such groups exists!

heh heh.. thx 4 conforting. act i'm q used 2 it lah but i haf a compulsive urge 2 speak e truth n b frank. bad habit. e last time i did tt, it spoilt relations. but i's tinking, if one day, my mum pass away n i din tell her how i value her n why i do some o e things i do, i'd def regret it 4 life cos i feel she doesn't understand n she's hurt by my actions. i need her 2 noe i'm just trying 2 avoid conflicts. but hubby is rite, i can nv say it w/o hurting her too n i'd prob get condemned by my relatives esp sis oso... so...

calynn, i already lun a lot o things. i dun mind my mum carrying her rite after cooking, even offering her her fingers 2 lick (once it was full o medicated oil!). i can ren her getting close 2 mandy when she's sick... etc etc... but cannot ren everything. btw hor, if my relatives feed mandy those kinda stuff, i'd surely grab mandy away. v fun 4 them, but i'm e one taking care o mandy. once her tastebuds get spoilt by them, i'd haf trouble getting her to eat properly, watsmore, it's harmful 2 her health. so tt, i cannot ren.

last nite brought her to PD again. PD tried to collect urine sample.. but no urine from my gal.. so today will try to take her urine sample again.

my mum same pattern one, will be very sad n lapse into depression type oso. nowadays i oso close eyes, bite lips whenever i see things not done the way i want.. but so far got improvement from those initial weeks la. so quite grateful for that. aside from some difference in how things shd be done, she is a great caregiver. so actually i shouldnt complain so much liao...

Yesterday was a crazy day for me. Hubby came back at noon, running a fever of 39 deg. Then whole day fever didn't subside at all with panadol, so doc suspect dengue, so last nite brought him to hospital and was hospitalised
Brought JT to MIL's place.... lucky she guai guai slept through the nite at her place. Only came home at 1am, after pumping, bathing etc only slept at 2+. Me going to deliver milk to MIL's place later before going down to see hubby.... luckily his fever gone down liao after antibiotics, so maybe not dengue....
And my stupid washing machine has to break down now .... haiz.....

dunno wat's wrong wif my jav these few days..
he refuse to drink milk, eat rice cereal n sleep @ nite.. normally 9plus pm, he will sleep after drinking e milk.. these few days, the moment i put him in the yaolan or the bed, he sleep less than 5mins n start to struggle n wail.. the moment i carry him in my arms, he fell asleep again.. but the moment i put him down, he will start moving hands, moving legs, stratch his ear, n start to wail..
even if he fell asleep, he wont sleep long.. i like waking up every hr to yao him.. sleep less than 5hrs every nite.. everyday go to work so sleepy.. how 2day oni tuesday, n i feel like a walking corpse..
dunno whether he is teething soon.. but i didnt see any white white ting in his gum leh..
my mil making stupid remarks again.. she says "jav is so guai during daytime.. i feed him milk, he drink. i feed him cereal he eat.. he also able to sleep on his own for 1hr to 2hrs. he bullying u leh".
if she tink she can handle him tat well, might as well take care for mi @ nite lor.. i already feel like a dead rat n still hav to tolerate her nosense.. urrgg...

Actually Ace can sit liao, but he still tends to bend a bit forward at times, or support on one of his hand, while the other hand he is busying grabbing stuffs or sucking them..
He got bad bad habit recently, likes to scratch on surfaces with his nails, he can ly on his tummy on the bumper mat and scratch the mat and make those noise.. for long long time..
And he pulls EVERYTHING when he 'walking' around the whole house in his walker.
He pulls table cloth, bed sheet, washing machine hose, even my earrings when I was carrying him. Getting very dangerous liao.. Cannot anyhow put things..
He is still totally on BM. But when I was eating banana, I thot of letting him try the taste only by letting him lick and can a feel of banana..
But he bite a small pieces out.. wau lau, scared myself silly as I shout and dig that piece of banana out for fear he will choke. Didn't think that he would actually be able to bite thru it, coz I dun think he got teeth..

DUn care liao. faster go dwn & hop into a taxi. wow sey on the way called my MIL to bring bb down she ask me why so early today i say i not feeling well wanna go home 55. but she is quite good to ask me can i cope anot when i am sick & want carry bb home. I of cos say CAN lar. but then moment i see my gal my giddy spell or headache all gone liao lar.

ace is more steady than madeleine. madeleine can sit unsupported, n she will lift her hands to turn her body, but she still needs to support herself on her hands every few moments. we also dun dare to let her sit by herself too long, cos i let her sit on the kitchen cabinets over the weekend, then she lifted her butt n tried to crawl. she wasn't strong enuf to support her body, so she almost had a face plant. scared me leh, i thot she will knock her nose n nose stent into the cabinets n will start bleeding again. thank goodness managed to catch her b4 she actually crash.
madeleine's pattern now is to put her arms around my neck when i'm carrying her standing up. told my hb, that's the best mother's day present liao, hv my bb hug me when i carry her.

My boy is on FM now n he poos on alternate days. Occasionally will poo daily, when that happens the poo is smaller amt lor. Last time when Ewan was on tbf he can dun poo for 5 days one. I got scared n went to c PD. PD say is normal for bb's on BM to poo irregularly. Says not to worry if on BM poo wun be hard one. True enuff after 5 days my boy poo still soft soft one. Nowadays on FM if dun poo for 1 day, next day poo will be more solid n sticky.

I think she just need time to get over all the unfamiliar faces... Unfamiliar place + faces is just too much for her.

Look for a way to work things out. In time to come, when yr gers can understand what is going on, it's not a healthy growing environment for them. It's miserable to be trapped in such a situation.
I understand the misery, coz sometimes I too feel that I'm trapped in a dead end marriage. But in my case, I'm the one blowing my top off to my hubby. Whichever way, I tink it's definately unhealthy and is trying to figure out what's wrong...
For me, I feel that if my situation goes on indefinately, ending a marriage may not be a bad thing. Coz if by doing so, we are both happier, we can bring up the girl better.
