actually, did anyone in ur family rock bb in upright position? i kind of blame my maid coz she always carry my boy in an upright position until he fall asleep. i think is a kind of bad habit lor...now i forbid maid to carry him in that position. sign....hope my son can accept rocking in lying down position soon. very hard to rock in upright position leh...

i just intro yaolan to my son few weeks ago and he don't really like. he will cry once i put him in. i will ask maid to rock while i sing and "dance" (do hand signs) to distract him. he will usually lauf and then calm down and fall asleep. feel like a clown.

then she also kept poo-ing (4-5 times a day) since we brought her back.. dunno issit coz she was mostly on fm when she is back in muar, then now mostly back to ebm. her tummy not used to ebm anymore? last time even though mostly on ebm, she poo once a day. how ah? should i continue to give ebm or stop???

last nite fed bb, chg his diaper & then put him slp on tummy. normally he'll slp within mins but yesterday he raise his bum. Leg bend abit n flip many times. I try to turn him over ard 15 to 20 times but he still repeat the same thing leh. He tot i play with him. Ladies what to do huh?

bb Ivan juz wan some fun. actually i awredy give up flipping Meg back when she slp. i juz make sure her nose is not covered. she like sleeping on her tummy tis days.
if i kept flipping her back, bb n mummy will end up CRANKY due to lack of slp!

anyway, Meg also very naughty yesterday nite. tink she had too long naps in the day liao. coz after Ruffybear left my plc, she nap all the way till 2230. i also lah, lazy to entertain her. so let her slp.
after feeding her at 2300, she refused to slp. so pissed with her.
rocked and play with her till 0045. gave up. dump her in the cot and i went to bed. hee heee...then she found her way to dreamland till 0715 tis morning.

Hello mummies

Really enjoyed myself at the gathering yesterday, 1st time I bring JT out alone on public transport in a stroller at such a far away place. but dunno wat's wrong with JT yesterday, keep wanting to sleep and keep fussing around in her stroller...and screaming somemore, which is not her usual self.... maybe she is excited with all the gor gor jie jie... but she was so tired, she slept for 2 hours straight once I put her down in her her cot.

Thx for putting up so many cute bb pictures. Love them. Wish I could hv joined the gathering but I dun like to bring Ewan out on weekday by myself. At nite sure he will b difficult one.

Yesterday I brought Ewan to NTUC in morning, then last nite after I put him to sleep at 10-11pm he kept waking up to cry. Wont let me pao pao him cos everytime I pao him he wants to sit up. Then after an hr cry cry he tired liao managed to sleep, wake up feed at 2+am, luckily went back to sleep then wake up at 5am keep pretending to cough cough to wake me up. As soon as I open my eyes he quickly smile smile at me want me to play play wif him. Walau...I was so tired n grumpy so I try to give him milk hoping he will go back 2 sleep. But he push bottle away n want to sit up. Hv 2 entertain him until 7am b4 he was willing 2 drink milk n fell asleep while smoking his dadah. This boy ahh dunno why so playful. That's why I dun dare bring him out 2 much.

U r lucky at least ur bb can sleep in yao lan. Mine, we used to let him sleep in cot at nite n yao lan in day cos day v diff to make him sleep b then will only nap 15-30min. But nowadays, he will turn n jump so hard until the yao lan spring also like wanna break so cannot sleep yao lan anymore. We dun rock him uprite position one. We only carry him uprite bcos he cry cry n we try to pacify him by carrying him in lying down position but he struggle to sit up. So no choice we carry him on our shoulders lor. We dun rock him lah, I will juz sooth his back until he stop crying but quite often he scream until sooo tired so he juz fall asleep on our shoulders. Naughty boy. He is too playful liao. Nobody play with him he will also get v excited laugh loud loud, screech at the top of his lungs n gek gek his body like so gan cheong. Ur boy got like that or not ahh?

All the old pple told me some bb's need 44 days some need 100 days b4 become easier too look after (to adjust body clock n allow body to bcome stronger so can fight wind in body). Urs seems to hv taken 100 days. Mine still no change even tho 4.2 mths liao. Think his character is like that so dun think is just a passing phase. Think his computer timer spoil liao cannot shut down one. Always active. My PD told us not to show him flashcards after late afternoon so that his computer can shut down. We also try not to talk too much or play to much with him in the evening. Still same same, try everything liao nothing works.

I think JT and Ewan is really matchmade in heaven. JT did the exact same thing last nite after her outing...."Nobody play with him he will also get v excited laugh loud loud, screech at the top of his lungs n gek gek his body like so gan cheong." She screeched until her voice break, then when I latch her on, she was still trying to screech with my breast in her mouth, but she was sucking and struggling at the same time... I had to hold her head down until she calmed down and dozed off... faintz...But lucky thing she slept from 8+pm till this morning....

Think you should try to bring Ewan out more often, when he is used to it, he won't be so cranky anymore. JT used to be like tat also

I tried giving Evee some rice cereal this morning but she kept using her tongue to push it out...and give me a bitter look face. Mummies who have given your bb rice cereal, any of your bbs take to the cereal readily? If not, after how many days then they will swallow the cereal instead of pushing it out?

i at home always take lotsa pix one mah. got ugly ones i oso won't post here.

nt early lah, mandy 5.5 mths liao. can try one food at a time for 3-4 days. if no rashes, wheezing nt due to cold, unusual bloatedness, nausea etc... or anything strange lah... tt means no allergic reaction. then can go on 2 2nd food liao. best 2 start w rice cereal 1st as it's bland n least likely 2 cause allergy. then move on 2 root vege, e blandest 1st. cos feed them sweet stuff in e beginning hor, next time they reject other nt-so-sweet food liao. oh, n i tink better 2 train her 2 eat w spoon or else next time troublesome

btw, vivo nursing rm v lousy one... tt time i went one, e door stuck halfway... cldn't even close... then outside lotsa workers walk here walk there... me alone w mandy somemore.. but ok lah, they can't see anything one lah

At least JT can sleep fr nite till morning. Ewan has never been able to do that. Sure will wake up at least once every nite one.

Huh? the steroid that PD use not effective? Cannot be lah?!? For JT it's effective, just that when I stopped applying it comes back lor. But I think I am seeing some improvement liao. her neck is ok now w/o steroids for 3 weeks. Only the back of her knees and elbow fold still red. The worst is the knees. I'm hopping the day will come when these 2 parts will be like the neck.

Yah lor, normally JT is very guai when both me and hubby bring her out on weekends. But yesterday maybe she is very tired liao, cos she has been out the whole day from Sat-Tue So she's not her usual self. Hopefully tonite she'll be ok.

I also went to the outing, but was busy feeding JT in the nursing room. The other mummies so bored waiting for me, nothing to do outside so started to take pics And of cos Kimi the photographer.

I think Vivocity not that bad, cos at least the door is heavy so cannot open so fast. Last Sat went Marina Sq, also no lock. already put the sign "occupied" still got 3 people tried to open the door - Singaporeans can't read English one meh? Lucky they opened a bit then I shouted at them they quickly closed it back. Then there was this stupid china woman who got the hubby to open the door, when I shouted "it's occupied", she still can say, "can let me use 1st, I only need 5 min to change diapers", I told her I am nursing my baby, there are a lot of other rooms around in marina sq, she kept insisting that I get out and let her use for 5 min. So pissed off, she expects me to unlatch and let her use meh? Then with all these distractions, JT dun wan to drink lor.. made me so angry... then I bo chup her and slowly burp JT inside and then dress up, and sit inside to rest. Then she bo bian left. Normally if there's someone waiting to use the room, I'll burp JT outside so that the next person can use it quickly, but she just totally pissed me off.....
I told hubby next time he has to stand guard outside, cannot go wandering around, if not with all these distractions, JT won't drink.

Regina has normal dark brown eyes. Must be the reflection from the camera or light, that's why u thot they're greyish. I'm hoping her eyes can gradually become lighter brown, like her dad's.

yah.. frozen bm is reaally yucky. my gal fight even more when given frozen ebm. but i think someone mentioned to warm it up first before freezin it.. i think that helps reduce the fishy smell a bit.

dora..yes the specialist said the steriod that the PD gave is not strong enuf thats why after i stop eczema comes back..so give me strong one ..sighh! then he said changing diet (cos we ask if should switch to soy) is last resort only if treatment cannot work..reminds me of pp with high blood pressure/diabetes who just pop meds but refuse to change diet..ridiculous! i also see improvement since we change to Nan HA from NAN. But hb crazy one..wans kate to be mei nu!

mandy loves her semi-solids. just now thruout her mashed potato feed, she kept smiling n laughing. once e spoon nears her mouth, she'd break into a smile. then she got tt 'i've-finally-found-the-meaning-o-life' look... even after e feed, lie on e bed oso smile 4 nothing.. as if i've been starving her 4 e past 5 mths... haiz...

i dunno e potato brand leh, just bb potatoes lor. tink all sama sama bah. e bk says to start root vege b4 fruits cos fruits r sweeter n root veges r v nutritious. it recommends, potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots. 4 me, i just wanna play safe n start fr e blandest o e 3 lor. tinking o cauliflower n avocado too. so fun hor, every wk diff food. hope mandy finally realises life is good!

yest evening saw a bit red on pad tot oh no why my keloid discharge got red!! then 10plus realised menses here liao

super xian....no wonder yest mood so bad up n down one..

so the saying wat bf menses wont come back not true lor...can envy those mummies bf so long n menses not back..hope my keloid can cure by itself after menses end....hehe
