Good that Manady more awake so can play play. But actually bb's behaviour change all the time one. There was one time Ewan started waking up only once at nite. HB n I were so happy. Unfortunately lasted only 4 days. Now back to his wake up every 3-4hr routine so will wake up 2-3 times every nite

Ya Ewan is super active...aiyo, hope he is not those ADHD babies. Actually I m v curious whether there r any other babies behaving like him. He doesn't like to sleep even tho is super sleepy liao. When we try to carry him in lying down position to rock him to sleep he will struggle to sit up n will struggle n cry if we persist. Even tho v sleepy, will wait wait until next feed then too sleepy liao after sucking bottle abit will knock out. That's the only way we can get him to sleep. He dun wan pacifier cos he seems to know that we wan to make him sleep. Then because he is sleepy will be grouchy quite alot of the time n wwill want us to carry him in upright position. Carry nevermind but he will arch his body here n there demanding that we go in certain direction so he can touch or c c the things there. Then hor he will nap mayb 30min if we lucky...then as soon as he start to wake, I will pat pat him to try n make him continue sleeping. At first his eyes will close back then will suddenly pop open big big like he suddenly remembered that he should not be sleeping. Then wake up liao lor. Everyday like that. We try sarong also cannot...same thing even tho automatic rocking the whole time. Now worse, cannot put him in sarong cos he will turn in sarong. R most other babies like that or is my boy super naughty?? My mum say she has never seen a baby like that leh...n she used to babysit for other people. I told her mayb bbs nowadays r different. So if I let other pple bbsit him who can tahan...sure will give him sleeping pill one

That's why can't wait for him to learn to sit, crawl n walk loh.

Oh ya...Afcai...the water mark near ur bb eyes...sure not dried pus or some secretion from a sore under the eyelids. U better go let Dr hv a look.

gd morning.. dunnoe wat happened to PH yesterday.. dun want sleep n dun want drink.. daytime onli drink slightly more than 100ml every 3 hours.. onli nap for few hours for the whole day.. hai~~ den last night kept waking up every 2 hours.. suckle liao dose off.. den put on cot wake up n cry... aiyo..... can onli sleep when he sleep with us on our bed.. now sleeping like a pig like his papa..

today going to bring PH to the pool if the weather is gd..

I think you dun have to worry so much, cos JT used to be exactly wat you described. But now she is ok liao, can sleep quite well (keeping my fingers crossed). She can even sleep on her own in the cot by sucking her thumb, I dun even need to pat her. But occasionally she will still wake up crying, then pat pat she'll go back to sleep.

brought ivan for his 2nd jab yesterday plus one doze of rotavirus..tis am got a bit fever..gave him panadol syrup liao....he weigh 6.85 kg as of 4mths n 2weeks plus 50percentile...sigh...he very light leh...i realy have to accept he can never be those bah bah bbies...as long as he is healthy n i healthy ok liao

madeleine is also like that. needs to be carried upright n walked all the time. it takes a lot to make her take a nap in the daytime n the slightest sound will wake her up. even when she naps, she will regularly open her eyes to check that she's being carried. it's difficult to make her sleep even at night.

oh ya, sometime while nursing my boy, he will knock out too. in fact, i try to time his nap close to feeding time. however, sometimes he will suddenly open his big eyes (like yours, as if he suddenly remember he has things to do) and look around. i also have to ensure that NO ONE speak! the moment anyone talk, he open his eyes and start searching. alamak....

fortunately, sarong work for me. sometimes at least. after his 30mins power nap, he will wake up. i will rush to the sarong and rock again (using manual rock), sometimes it work...he fall back to sleep). u may wan to try manual rocking rather than automatic. i know that my son will wake up after 30mins and i did try to rock him non stop but he still wake up after 30mins. so now i only start to rock him when he arose from his 30mins nap and sometimes it work.

Lil, i very happy to know that my son is not the only one.

u should be happy too...hahha..u and ur son are not alone.

with regard to the KKH bf contest, I have submitted the form liao. ai-yo, just join for fun. the rules is must be bf for at least 3 wks. if u see the contest form, it will ask u to fill how many week u have bf or still bf or partial bf.

hmm...even u are SAMH mummy u still give up, so any hard feeling when u wean off the bf career? hubby told me not to stress myself (tough am tired liao but still persistant to continue). really want to give up but think of that got the 'bu se de"(cannot let go) feeling.

wow, fr the way u describe yr boy, it seems really very difficult to make him slp.

my gar also dun want to slp even tough she is super sleepy and yawn. she will either kpo look here and there or cry.same same, carry in lying position to rock her to slp, she also struggle. so we just 'dump' her into her playpen and then let her suck her finger till she zz...(she perspire in the playpen and occasionally, I went to wipe her sweat, she perspired even with fan on)

hmm dun u just place yr boy in the cot/playpen and let him slp? didn't he suck his finger to slp?


my gar also prefer her finger to pacificer, she will 'phew' out. now my mum finally give up liao, last time, keep on pushing pacifier to her till my gar scream much louder.

what is dried pus? it had been there for 2 wk liao(also found at her forehead). no matter how hard I wipe away with wet cloth, it is still there. sometimes, it seems itchy that my gar kept on rubing. I suspect it is the cause of either dirt - fr salvia or germs from her toys at my mum'plc.

really pissed off my mum again today when I sent my gar there. when I tell her to take note (have not finish my statement) that my gar will sudden grab the bowl etc while she is makan (we went out for dinner at coffeeshop), she said she know one. also despite of repeating, she still placed her finger into the teat when she hold the cap+teat.

Bfing career most difficult part is to do deliveries lor, that's y when we bf, our ultimate aim is to bond. Too bad ur mum is staying abit far from you, else it will b a gd idea to bring ur gar back every nite, so that at nite u can latch on and rest better as u dun need to pump at home. This will also help u to build and maintain ur ss. I brought back my gar everynite last time, so I got no problem with my ss.
As for ur mum, aiya, dun worry too much lor, u will only stress urself out, "dirty eat dirty big" lor, sometimes my mum also like that, I can't b bothered also. I used to buy extra tin of FM to put at her place when she was looking aft Rachel that time, I can't see, so I dun bother...heehee

yup, I do ask hubby if he has a car, will she bring my gar bck home every day. he said he would. I am so tired in the deliver of milk and also pumping till sian. really wanted to give up but still 'se bu de'. anyway, now hubby is temp looking for job, so we will bring bck my gar on thur nite. on and off I will take leave these few mth too.

hmmm latch on, this little fella dun seems to know what is latch on now liao. since birth- 3mth (after wean off fr latching on), she is gd at it man. even during the nite last time, I am trying to find my nipple in the dark, this bb tx already search faster than me, open mouth and grab it before I realise it man....now,I did try to latch her on when she cried (not much crying only wailing unless she super hungry or else she will self-entertain her hunger by sucking her fist/finger) while waiting for her warm up ebm then at the same time maybe at that time, I was pumping so I latch her on one side while another side pump. of cos, hands super tired, sweat like a pig so is bb tx. but if sweat, bb tx wins.scream contest, think she also either sure win or be runner up.

my ss dropped today, managed to pump only 685ml only. sad sad....

hai...dunno why fm so difficult to dissolve meh...so every night, while washing the dish (every rush too cos 55 wash and then got to go and hug my gar before I leave mum'plc at abt 2030-2050), I also washed the milk bottle to make sure it is clean cos she already dun wash so clean when giving ebm to my gar liao. can't imagine she give fm, dunno will she polluted the whole sterlised pot (using traditional method).

hmm wondering how to make my gar remember what is latch on loh. she just treated it as pacificer making me perspire when holding her for long time. so in the end, I give up.

but hor, now my gar is drinking 1 day behind ebm, if latch on (successfully only), I will need to throw at least 1 bottle of ebm daily loh.last time during ML days, I tried the fresh in and last out method (something like that), I will throw at least 2 bottles (use those ebm to wash face or soak feet) away daily.

as for deliver part, if I were with my gar, my ss shd be able to meet my gar's demand (just nice only). dunno why my gar has extra feed at my mum'plc. mum always said her place noisy so my gar woke up at 8am after her 5am feed. for my side at my hse, she will woke up after 530-630am only and then after that she will slp all the way to 10-11am liao. so this explain there is 1 less feed.

my gal oso skinny lei... 25% percentile only.. 5 months 5.6kg (if i didnt remember wrongly). but she doubled her birth weight at her 3th month coz she was born small. after that her growth rate slow down.

Gd morning!! today working halfday coz got pple coming to fix my washing machine this afternoon..

brought PH to swim yesterday.. he doesn't seems to enjoy leh.. maybe it's his first time he nervous.. hahaha.. he very cranky aft he return fr his swimming trip.. dun want to drink milk.. sleep awhile wake up.. drink abit nia.. den started crying liao.. dunnoe cry for wat oso.. hai~~ cry cry cry liao sleep again.. wake up crying again.. latch him.. nap.. den wake up crying again.. aiyo.. wondering if it's bcoz he overstimulated anot..

but aft all these crying sessions, he knock out at 12am n sleep till 5am b4 he cry for milk.. phew...

Where got leh...that day at Qian Hui's hse Kate was so guai...willing to lie on the floor for so long. Did u c Ewan, immediately hit the floor only will turn n start to swim forward n head turn here turn there so kpo. Then refuse to lie n n let us feed him cos he wanted to sit up n kpo. Then towards the end when we 5 5 leave...he was so sleepy but refuse to lie down in my arms so he was crying so loudly I hv to carry him upright until he knocked out on my shoulders. BTW Ewan doesn't cry for things...he will "crawl" towards it or if we hold him in sitting position he will swing swing his body back n forth so that he moves forward toward the thing he wants.

Initially was quite worried cos my mum lah scare me...say she has never seen another bb like this, say mayb got something wrong wif Ewan. Mayb bb's last time more gong gong n quiet. Would love to msn but hoh something wrong wif my computer cos cannot use msn or yahoo to chat. Last time kena virus not sorted out properly. Can only chat via gmail. When I decided to stop bfing was also bu she de feeling (also felt v guilty leh) but once I started the ball rolling cannot stop liao cos of the inertia

Then after tat, c my life improve so much so no regrets at all. Also c bb still thrive v well, in fact think he prefer FM n put on more weight.

BTW, my boy doesn't really suck fingers leh...he occasionally will put fingers in mouth to lick lick n chew chew only. N we try to leave him on bed to sleep on his own he will roll all n crawl all over the bed, v dangerous. he wun sleep wan will play play until v tired liao will make noise n cry. That's why they say suck fingers baby is more guai. Oh ya...pus is like a yellow coloured discharge from sores. SOmetimes, the eyelids there can develop something that looks like a pimple...will be itchy then got pus discharged when sore is ripe.

my mandy until now still can't lift her head so high like when JT is 10 wks! she's v v slow physically... but i'm trying 2 take it easy.

mandy doesn't cry 4 things. she simply BO CHAP. if i out sthg in her hands, she'll grab. if i dangle it in front o her, she'll look v interested, lift her hand.... and SUCK HER FINGERS... machiam like watch show. she doesn't had initiative one. EXCEPT during semi-solid time, she'll open her mouth n 'ah! ah!' v big. if i'm slow, she'll raise her hands n hit them on my thighs or she'll reach 4 e spoon/bowl n push it towards her mouth.... haiz....

btw, mandy oso dbled her birthwt at her 3rd month then her rate o growth started 2 slow dn... until now only 3rd %tile.act. i tink it's lower than 3rd lah but e lowest line in e graph in e health booklet so doc said 3rd lor. i tink she hit rock bottom liao...

Ha ha.. the competition ah.. failed badly.. dunno if I should be happy or sad..

Coz the judging criteria is that the mum must look very very different before and after makeover..

The rest of the contestants can see big big difference after makeover.

Me makeover or not makeover, the difference not alot.

Dunno hv to be happy or not.. coz not much difference means I not so 'huang lian po'...

So I got consolation prize, 1 Osim uZap thingy..

but think since I still want another baby soon, must wait til I have another one then can start to use and zap zap away my fats ;p

Got high score for tat 9/10 (only 2 person got this score).. ha ha.. very surprised..

but I got only 30 out of 40 for the part on makeover.. the highest scored was 39/40..

Hubby was standing behind and judges and saw all the scores..
